Loki Friggason is the Keeper of the Lighthouse in Salt Rock Maine of Mar-vel County. He haws made a nice quite life free of the constant rejection by the adoptive father that never wanted him and the crushing break of past relationships. His last Love nearly broke him to where he closed of himself to new relationships. He is content to hide away in his village gathering the locals as family and friends who would never hurt him or his heart. That is until two Mysterious Brothers take to port and dock their boat called the Iron Man into the harbor. No one really knows why they settled here and opened up a crabbing business but it looks like they're here to stay. One of the brothers has taken a liking to the lighthouse keeper and could pose a threat to that peaceful life Loki has been living. On the other hand Loki see something in those brown eyes that speak of a guarded heart and painful past underneath the charm and smiles. Is it worth the risk for something more or will it lead to heart ache and despair

“Loki Darling did you hear? The New guy is pulling in quite the catch.” Agnes laughed.

“I’m afraid you have lost me Mrs. Harkness.”

“That new fisherman Tony, that moved here five months ago. He’s been drawing the attention of almost every woman and even some men in town. He is a handsome piece of eye candy.” The older woman winked causing Wanda to roll her eyes.

“Yes Agnes so you have said. We’ll see you later I need to talk to Loki about next farmers market, we’re in charge of the stall placements.” Wanda hooked her arm with the Raven and pulled him into the store.

Midnight Madness

Okay more like two in the morning madness if on is technical. This is self portrait I did years ago we I first dipped my toe in the world of Fandom. Trust me I wasn’t that great at drawing and had to use a generator. My talents have grown since this moment but it does represent the madness and inner Loki feels I didn’t realize I had even waaaaay back then before the Marvel movies. Please don’t ask how old I am or this is I get enough grief from my family about it. I am proud to say that I had a hand in my kids embracing the many fandoms at there are from Games to Anime and Manga. One of them hopes one day to be an Animator and hopes to design their own games while the last one is a proud advocate of the LBGTQ community switch they are a part of. I Support and am Proud of all three of them. These are the things the come to a tired mind when they can’t sleep. I am an armature write who has ADD and ADHD with COD triggers. Like one of my kids will tell me that my Manga books are out of order just to watch me try and ignore looking at the collection but after five minutes I start unpacking my books from their bins to reorganize them more efficiently. Yeah I can safely say my brain is always going a mile a minute.Like Tony Stark but I am neither Rich nor a genius. I do write Fanfiction for him and the Avengers as well as many different Animes and Books not just manga. it’s difficult for me to finish a story as too many world occupy my mind. This is where the Chaos and Madness swirl to give my readers something worth reading. I call these ideas that keep me up at night Plot bunnies. Right now I am calling Lazy bums because they hopped off taking any good ideas with them (the bastards). I try to empty my mind with mindless games on my phone then use music to fill it back up. This does not help the late night insomnia I suffer sometimes. SO As I rant I hope I have brought comfort to those that share this madness. The Brain takes over and you can only follow it until it crashes in a deep sleep. To my fellow Writers and Fandom Nerds I am proud to be apart of this community of Chaos and encourage other to share their talents with the world because we need that bright color and words of wonder in the time of great darkness that is trying to envelope the Real Life of everyday people like you and me when we turn off the computer or shut down our phones for the night.

This is me right now at 11:00pm trying to go to sleep. For once i was able to go to bed early but my brain keeps whispering in my ear these ideas and now I won't be able to sleep untill about 3 or 4 am when my brain passes out and my body follows along only to get up at 6:00am to start my day. Being a writer can be a gift when helping Colabs but a curse when you just want to get one decent night's sleep. 😑😔

Writers don't get to rest.

As Tony panics Thor gets an idea.

"Let's do get help!"

"What? No! Loki told me all about it! No go!"

"We're doing it!" Thor grabs the small human and yells "Get help Friend Tony is ill!

Loki turns in time to catch Tony flying at her.

"There is Tony see you later, bye sister!" Thor high tails it out of there leaving Tony to deal with confused Frost Giant.

Heart of a Prince Prt. 3

Loki collapsed on his couch exhausted as he spent most of the night dealing with the fight his Brother started their sister the Snow Queen of the North Winds. Hela had been bored of late and decided to Freeze his rain clouds and not tell him. So when he set out to give a gentle rain to an area on earth that needed water after a harsh bit of sun before the fall season set, Thor set a hail storm which ended up hurting a lot of animals and a hail ball the size of a human fist knocked out a human farm who was out in the field trying to save his crops. This lead to Thor becoming angry and the sea whipped up and the human Fisher men that were out on the water were tossed about like bath toys. Loki spent most of his night off trying to prevent another Ice age.

Sylvie: Cousin, I take it Thor and Hela are finally at peace since there is no Ice age upon us.

Loki glared at his cousin The Queen of Dreams who had entered his room along with her husband Mobius King of Sleep. Sylvie had been Princess of the Moon and shared the night Duties with Loki until Mobius won her heart. Loki then took over all the night duties but she bullied him to allow her to take the duties for at Least the New Moon nights so he could have some time for proper rest.

Loki: What are you doing here Sylvie? Mobius she should be resting you have an Angel on the way.

Sylvie: I have another fifty years before our Angel is born then another Hundred years before their Powers are bestowed upon them. They are fine but you are my concern right now.

Loki: I am not a child I am fine.

RC took that moment to walk over his head then settled to float above his Master as if highlighting his mood.

Mobius: Sure you are. You have been pouting a bit more these last few years.

Loki glared murderously at the King of Sleep and RC began to rain over Loki.

Loki: Retched Cat, go rain elsewhere! (Waving his hand he sent the Cloud cat to rain over the house plants.)

Sylvie: Are you upset because of the human named Iron Man?

Loki: Not upset but sad for him. He has affection for another human but is rebuffed. I want him to be happy but I have no idea on how to help him.

Sylvie: Humans often just need a friendly ear and they eventually find the solution themselves. Just be his friend and things will work out.

Mobius: you can probably take to the Prince of the Sun he know more about human as he watches them all day long. (He ignored the glare his wife was shooting him. He was going to hear when he got home.)

Loki: True but the Man is annoying and his light is too bright to get anywhere near him. I don’t think I want to subject myself to the Chatty sunlight thank you.

Sylvie: Get some sleep Cousin; you don’t want to fall from the sky tonight when you are on your rounds. (She kissed him on his forehead before she dragged her husband out the door.)

Loki yawned as he magically got ready for Sleep. RC made herself comfortable on the pillow next to his head. Maybe he would approach the Sun if only to help Anthony he would have to sleep on it.

Encounter #1:

Tony was running through the Hall of Celestials late for the Monthly meeting as he had lost track of time in the forge on his latest armor. He didn’t see where he was going as he was trying to pulling on his formal clothes on the way to the meeting and ran smack into a tall slender figure. Both Celestial beings went tumbling ground. RC was spooked as she had been on Loki’s shoulder and poofed away for safety.

Tony: Oh I’m sorry I’m late for a meeting I didn’t see you.

Loki: Maybe if you toned down your light you would be able to see and other’s would not be blinded. (Loki summoned the Glasses Thor Gave him but darkened them almost to the point of being blacked out. He could only see the vague outline of the Prince of the Sun.)

Tony: Your Highness, I am soo Sorry! Here let me help you.

Loki: No thank you. (Loki ignored the offered hand.) The Meeting is over and it was decided that there will a new Solar System and everyone will be getting a new apprentice. You will taking on Harley he just received his powers but he still has his angel wings. He was disappointed that you were not at the Meeting.

Tony: Man, now I really for bad. I was just so in the Zone and I couldn’t stop working.

Loki: You talk strangely is that the influence of humans?

Tony: I guess I do spend a lot of time with them that I picked up a few things. (He scratched the back of his head nervously. He thought the Sunglasses looked sexy on the prince of the night, but they were so dark he wondered if Loki could see him properly.)

Loki: Well try not to let it influence young Harley. Here are coppies of the meeting notes. I must go I’m late for my Duties. (The prince vanished in a green light leaving Tony alone.)

Tony: Well I screwed that up.

Encounter #2:

A week later found Tony in his Forge pounding out his anger on the Shield he was making for his Cousin Steve Prince of Sun from the Wartar System. It seemed that him and his husband Bucky Prince of the moon were fighting off an invader that wanted to destroy half of the mortal population. They barely won and now they needed some serious armor repairs and Bucky need a new arm. Tony would have to use his celestial forge for that, but the Shield could be fixed here on earth.

A voice from the forge door: Good evening Anthony.

Tony: Hey I was wondering if I would ever see you again. You know you never gave me your name.

Loki: You may call my Lady L. I have been busy with my Brother and Sister. They are feuding and it is upsetting our family.

RC: Meow! (RC jumped out of Loki’s bag.)

Tony: Hey there Little Bit. Did you miss me? (Tony picked up the fluffy cat.)

Loki: She has been extra annoying lately. I thought I left her at home. (The Princess glared at her cat.) So have you talked to your love interest?

Tony: Yeah made a fool of myself. I guess I need to be more sophisticated because he was unimpressed with my fumbling.

Loki: Anthony you shouldn’t have to change yourself to get his attention. If he looks down on you for being yourself, than he is not worth your love and affection.

Tony: I know your right but it wasn’t the best greeting and I upset him for being late and not taking my job seriously. I want to at least try one more time before giving up on him. I know he really is kind and funny and takes training his apprentices seriously. He really is great with kids and takes their lessons and safety seriously but then after lessons he spoils them with treats as a reward for doing well.

Loki: If that is the case then you should try to meet when he is not busy with his duties. And take him to a place without distractions so you can talk properly.

Tony: Yeah, that’s a good idea.

RC: Mew (the cat leaned into the ear scratches and purred)

Loki you spoil her. She is a lazy creature and when bored a terror upon my person.

Tony: She just wants a bit of love. Isn’t that right Really Cute kitty?

RC: Purr

Loki: (she takes the cat back and puts her back in her travel bag) I’m sorry I can not stay longer but my Siblings are waiting for me to return. I was supposed to return after my chores but I wanted to see how you were doing.

Tony: That’s fine Lady L, I’m glad you came. Hopefully next time you visit I can introduce you to my new boyfriend.

Loki: I’d like that. (Her voice waved a little but smiled knowing she helped her human crush. Then she left before a tear could fall from her betraying eyes.)

Encounter #3

The Next New Moon Loki was sitting in his garden among the shy Violets that only Bloomed under his Moon light grading Fenris homework. His little apprentice was a diligent student and excited about learning the ways of the night and the purpose of the moon and it’s effects on the earth. Suddenly his garden was lit up with sunlight and the violets shrunk under the harsh light.

Loki: Your highness what brings you to my garden and upsetting my delicate flowers. (He forgot where he left those shade glasses and was forced to squint against the sunlight.)

Tony: Uh I wanted to talk to you Prince Loki.

Loki: what about?

Tony: Well I wanted to see how you are doing with your new student. (Tony really didn’t think on how this meeting was to go he just wanted to be close to the Prince. So seeing the homework in Loki’s hand he grabbed the idea and ran with it.)

Loki: (Smiled softly looking at the papers) Fenris is an eager student and is very smart.

Tony: Harley is the same; he’s soaking up all the lessons like a sponge. I think he’ll do just as well as Peter did.

Loki: I had a letter from Jörmungand, he’s enjoying his duties and hopes soon life with spring on one of their planets.

Tony: That’s going to be awhile but that’s kids for you, always impatient. So uh, what have you been up to lately I haven’t seen you at the any feasts lately.

Loki: I am not like my brother, I prefer solitude. Please My Lord why are you here? We have never really spoken to each other and your light is to bright for me to be in your presence to long. I do not want to be rude but if you have nothing of importance to say to me then please leave.

Tony was gutted by this request. He had been trying for centuries to talk to the prince of the night. He finally thought they had some common ground but Loki refused to even try and all because of the sun he held in his chest. Well he had planned for this and as painful as it was going to be he was going to make Loki see him and his feelings before he gave up his pursuit. Tony took the sun from his chest and put in the celestial box he made to keep it safe and the garden was once again bathed in the night sky.

Tony: Now will you listen to me? (Tony’s breath was labored and he boddy worked hard to keep his weak heart going.)

Loki looked up in horror to see his Anthony was the Prince of Sun. He noticed that there was a hole in the Prince’s chest. He had heard rumors that the prince had be born with a weak heart and to save his life his Mother Maria Princess of the Sun at the time gave her power and sun to him so he would live. She died shortly after the transfer was made a Celestial Being can not survive without their power source. Anthony’s power was different because it was kept within his body to keep it alive while Loki kept his moon in his staff and could hand it to Sylvie when they shared duties of the night.

Loki: Are you insane put that back in your Chest before you die!

Tony: Not until you talk to me! (He collapsed to the ground but Loki caught him before his head hit the ground.

Loki: You stupid man! RC, go get Prince Bruce! Now! (RC popped out of the bushes and ran up Loki’s back and jumped into the Sky to find the Prince of Healing.)

Tony: (Tony’s eyes went wide at seeing the cloud cat and then looked at Loki seeing the same Green eyes as his human friend. Then it clicked.) You’re Lady L.

Loki: Anthony don’t talk, Prince Bruce will fix your stupidity.

Tony: Not stupid I want to talk to you and this was stopping you from listening. I want to tell you I like you a lot and I possibly love you. Your wit and charm make me so happy I glow brighter I can’t help it. I want to date you and make you mine. (cough wheeze)

Loki: I did not know it was you that I was meeting on earth. I thought that you had love for another and that we would never be together because you were human and I was not.

Now I find you a Celestial Being I am so happy that there could be a future for us but not if you die!

Tony: Don’t worry the sun can be put back later I want to see you and you to see me without it pushing us apart. (Tony voice was getting weaker.)

Loki: I see you. I promise to wear Shade glasses and we can go to earth for dates, I promise. Just don’t die!

Bruce: He won’t! I’ll make sure of it. How long has been the sun been out of his chest?

Loki: Ten Minutes.

Bruce: Good, I can put it back with out having to jumpstart his heart again. (Taking the sun from the box, Bruce put it gently back in Tony’s chest.)

Loki: Again?

Bruce: Yeah the idiot here experimented with how long he could go with out the sun so he could talk to you and that was before he had made the box. Last time he lost the sun in his workshop and it took me and Rhodey half an hour to find it. The shock in putting it back stopped his heart and I had to restart it with my powers. Please Tony don’t do this again MY Heart can’t take it.

Loki: I promise you Prince Bruce this will be the last time he does this foolish stunt.

Tony: Awe Lokes you do like me.

Loki against my better judgment, yes I do. I will see to his care from now on.

Bruce: Good. He should rest tomorrow I’ll send word to Steve to fill in for the day. Take care both of you. Oh and Loki here. I ran into Sylvie on the way here she said you left them dangling off the Moon Staff. (Hands sunglasses to Loki)

Loki Thank you, I will need them. (Puts on the glasses before picking up Tony Bridle style)

Tony: Hey I can walk you know.

Loki: You are now under my care and you will not argue. My bed is closer so you shall rest there. You are not to lift a finger until you are well again. While you recover I believe we have much to talk about.

Tony: (He couldn’t stop from Glowing even brighter.) Okay as long as we can live happily ever after.

Loki: (Giving a quick kiss to the smiling lips smiled himself.) I can guarantee it, my love.

The Heart of a Prince Pt2.

Tony spent many hours in his Smithy making his armor better and more muted colors rather than shining before returning to the heavens to rest before his daylight duties. He managed to sleep a few hours but all he kept thinking about was that gorgeous Prince of the night. For centuries he had been watching the prince from afar and he watched as Prince Loki battle the other Celestial Beings with his wit and sharp tongue. There were few whose intellect to rival his own. Tony couldn’t help but glow brighter when over hearing a good comeback from the Nocturnal prince. Unfortunately glowing brighter meant the Loki was put off and wandered away from him. The closest he could get to Loki was being friends with Thor the Prince of Thunder. His storms helped the human grow food and cool down the lands when Tony over heated the earth because he was distracted from his duties by thinking of his next project. So He had hosted a number of feasts as thanks for saving the mortals from his heat wave.

Tony got up and stretched waving a hand and lighting up his home. He didn’t shine as bright when he was left alone with his thoughts.

Enter the King of The Animals: Tones you here?

Tony: Over here Platypus.

Rhodey: I told you I don’t mind the nick names but what is a Platypus? I have created many creatures for my Kingdom but that one I did not create.

Tony: Sure you did a century ago after a drunken night after The Star Lord’s birthday bash. In fact I kept the first one as a pet. Isn’t that right DUM-E?

Tony point to the little swamp like oasis where the brown Platypus was sunning himself under the light his master provided. Rhodey’s eyes widen at the creature. If this one existed than that meant they appeared on the earth. He really needed to stop drinking with Tony too many animals were created with no purpose other than a drunk night partying with the Prince of the Sunlight.

Rhodey: Fine but that thing still doesn’t look like me. So why did you leave early last night the feast was in your honor for creating a new galaxy.

Tony: No it was for Peter. He passed his apprenticeship and is now in charge of his own Solar System. I left because Loki left early. It just wasn’t as fun with out him there.

Rhodey: Let me guess you went down to earth to hammer out your frustrations in you forge. (a parrot flies in and lands on his shoulder)

Tony: So it’s relaxing to be just another face in the crowd.

Rhodey: Part of the crowd yeah right they call you Iron Man. (A dove comes and perches on his other shoulder. Rolling his eyes he shoos them both off.)

Tony: Humans come up with the weirdest names.

Rhodey: Uh-hu, So when are you going ask Loki out? You have being crushing on him for a century?

Tony: I don’t know. Every time I get close to him I can’t but glow bright on him, but I don’t glow when I’m human. He would never look at me as a human so what am I to do? This lady human I met said that I should find something in common to talk but I don’t know anything he’s into cause I can’t get close to him to talk to him.

Rhodey: Loki is smart and he reads a lot but he loves to roam the skies watching the dreams of humans. Thor says their fleeting dreams bring him joy because they are so innocent. So who is the human you met? ( this time a parakeet landed on his head.

Tony: I didn’t get her name but she was chasing her wandering cat that came into my smithy. She was beautiful with long Raven black hair and green eyes but she just reminded me of Loki. It got me depressed because I can’t stop think about him.

Rhodey: Well, maybe if you tone down your light or offer him some shade glasses .

The two Celestials walked to the dining area with birds flying behind them in there wake. Tony was unsure of what he was going to do regarding the Prince of the night but one thing was certain he did not want to be a coward any longer. He was going to at least Talk to the Prince of his dreams.
