Look, I know. I haven’t been active on here in a while and some of you might not even remember me, and that’s fine! I’ve been busy (I now have a writing-dedicated IG account! and Twitter! Can you believe???) and so have all of you. But you gotta hear this one out. If some of you still remember, I have this little wip called Like All Things Out Of Season. It’s been through a few drafts, I’ve actually done some light querying for it, but I figured it’s about time for more people to read it and so.

I’m looking for beta readers!

A quick twitter pitch:

Life sure is great when you’re no longer alone. Except you’re dead. And so is everyone else. And without your (very) rusty social skills to the rescue, they might be trapped in this limbo forever. Death sure is great. 

It takes place in a fantastical interpretation of the afterlife (not based on any mythology), and features an all-Asian cast! Intrigued? Here’s more details:

i have a little 1.1k word thing that i wrote in mid-july and had always planned on posting somehow but never do. im still wondering now if i should pull it up and post it as a text post or do something else with it.  what do y’all do with weird little pieces that aren’t short enough to be easily posted on tumblr, yet isn’t long enough to warrant something else?

OMG was scrolling through my old posts and !! i was actually really going to do this!!! also as an experiment on tumblr. and promptly completely forgot about it oh my godddddddddd this would’ve been fun

imagine if i pulled a clue and wrote nine different endings for my novel. and no one would know except for me, my publishers, and… you guys i guess.  (i am tempted but also… maybe let’s just shelf this for my budding undeveloped wip because this would be Prime chaotic energy and i am living for it)

hello guys!!

whoa i have not been on here in a while but !!! how are yall doing?? (this is not a rhetorical, please scream at me anything you might want to scream and i will very likely scream back because screaming is self-love)

ANYWAY. just popping in here to ask, who else has very impulsively thrown themselves into the pit that is nanowrimo???? yea -- that me. i mean, im not doing it officially, but i have definite plans to draft out a wip in november. and what is this spanking new wip that i literally forced my mind to worldbuild & brainstorm less than a week ago??  ( dun dun dun ) it’s a YA political intrigue dramedy fantasy with my usual hefty dose of found family, reluctant friendships, humour (well, at least intended) && also with some new ingredients of brains, an actual (hopefully) functional plot and world, aaaaaand nature being important! i have an outline for the first part done, am planning to half-wing half-cry over the rest of it, and have some of the cast down. can i get the rest done before nano begins in less than a week? hm .who knows?ANYWAY. who else is doing nano? what are the wips you’re planning to work on & what are your nano goals?? let’s cry together over this month and hopefully emerge victorious after!

two days ago, i suddenly had an idea for a stupid ff and began writing frantically from 10pm - 2am at night, and then immediately posted it without vetting through or edit because it’s fanfiction baby! shoutout to the me from two days ago. you were so motivated, so overcome with words (lol not really, but yeah). where have you gone? now im staring at the spaghetti in my doc and wondering where to head to next.  also shoutout to the me from yesterday who finally drew after months of not drawing without realising it was the first day of inktober. absolutely brilliant. you were ahead of trend.

wip theme game!
