the amount of bisexual representation we’ve gotten in mainstream media in the last year alone is insane. adding on the fact that there is all different age groups on their self discovery journey is just amazing

you have malakai and missy from heartbreak high and nick nelson from heartstopper figuring their bisexuality out during high school

alex claremont-diaz from red, white, and royal blue figuring it out in his 20s

and evan ‘buck’ buckley from 9-1-1 figuring it out in his 30s

and i just think it’s so amazing to see these beautiful stories of self discovery and subsequently wholesome queer love stories.

all i want from 9-1-1 is for one of the characters preferably chim to find out about bucks bisexuality and relationship with tommy through this:

set the scene, there’s a knock at bucks door he opens it just wearing a pair of sweats and chims at the door dropping off some wedding stuff buck agreed to help out with because maddies at work and couldn’t do it and we can hear the shower running in the background

chim: oh sorry were you about to get in the shower

buck: .. ah… yeah

*chim is about to leave when the shower turns off*

chimney then raises his eyebrow and starts grilling buck in a teasing way about the company he has over when tommy walks out dripping wet and in just towel

tommy: hey baby what did you wanna do for breakfa- oh hi howie

chimney is gobsmacked for a bit before he laughs like “hen owes me $10 now”

because while they both knew thought buck was bi before, hen definitely thought buck was trying to make eddie jealous

who’s behind chimney

i’ve seen a couple ideas and have a few of my own so let’s discuss

tommy

this is by far the most ridiculous one, i do think tommy is going to be the one saving chimney though

deluca

i feel like this one just makes zero sense, as far as we know deluca has no ill will towards anyone at the 118 and if he did it would be against bobby not chimney

now here are some of my ideas

freddie (the bomber from 2x18)

i think this is the least likely of my ideas, but he holds a lot of anger towards the 118 as a whole, and the last time he heard, chimney was the captain (as far as we know anyway) so maybe he escaped jail or got let out on parole. not likely but just a thought

captain gerrad

again not likely but we all know he ended up getting fired for his racist, sexist and homophobic treatment of hen. i feel like he would partly blame chimney thinking he was the one who complained about him (rightly so)

doug’s maybe brother?

doug could have had a brother who maybe wants revenge against maddie. you take someone i love so i take someone you love.

but what i think the most likely scenario is, is that we are being tricked into thinking someone took him but really he just passed out at what looks like the docks of a fishing pier. and the guy behind him is the worker who found him and trying stop him from loitering at his place of work (or something like that)
