Carlos and Seb's opening night scares are really interesting.

Carlos is scared because it is his first night of being on a stage, but also because he doesn't want to let anyone down even though it wouldn't matter to anyone. We even see him unable to speak in preparation for stage.

Seb is also nervous to disappoint people, and we don't know if this is his first opening night and he seems pretty musically inclined so I highly doubt it's his first time going on stage willingly. But we also know that Seb is playing a female role in Utah which is a red state and a lot of conservative people. That had to of been super scary and even though he got nothing but cheers when he came out for status quo that also had other main characters (Gina and Nini mostly) to take the stress off since he wasn't the only important character, but then there's bop to the top where it's his song since Ryan isn't singing in their eyes production.

But all in all seb and carlos both helped each other out with their opening night fears.

You know in 2x08 when the drama club can't rehearse because of the 2x07 shenanigans so they're helping the tech crew build and paint sets instead? And you know how Carlos says that dumb thing about Chip not having any big scenes and totally puts his foot in his mouth when he tries to backtrack? Yeah, so this happens a couple of minutes after that moment.

When Seb comes back with the glitter, Carlos tries to apologize for his faux pas. And it's a good apology and Seb knows Carlos didn't mean anything by what he said, but...Seb is holding a wet paint brush in one hand a container of glitter in the other, and he just can't help himself from getting a little bit of payback. "I forgive you," he says. "But one thing, though?" He motions for Carlos to lean forward, and when he does, he drags his paint brush across Carlos's cheek.

Carlos gasps. "Sebastian!"

"Oops." Seb shrugs, feigning innocence. "I'm just sooo clumsy."

Seb should know better than to start something like that with Carlos though, because the second he turns around his feels something wet and cold in his hair, and feels paint running down the side of his head. And they're officially at war. Instantly forgetting the set they're meant to be painting, they start focusing their efforts on painting each other. And they go for it. The only thing that's left sacred and unpainted is Carlos's glasses.

(The rest of the drama kids definitely notice their nonsense and decide not to do anything about it. They're all too busy with their own drama or with actually building sets.)

By the time Miss Jenn comes to check on the kids, Carlos and Seb are both completely wrecked, with big streaks of paint and splotches of glitter coating their skin, hair, and clothes. But whatever tension was between them is gone, and they're just laughing at how ridiculous they look. Carlos isn't even mad that his tiger shirt is totally ruined and covered with paint.

Miss Jenn on the other hand? Absolutely exhausted. She decides to send everyone home. Carlos and Seb leave hand in sticky, paint covered hand, with smiles on their faces.

No more please!

Hey, so maybe I'm just old but I keep seeing what I think are tone indicators? in posts and in tags/reblogs of my posts, and I have no idea what they mean...

I've seen "/j" "/pos" and "/lh" and I assume they're tone indicators bc of the slashes before the letters? But genuinely I have no idea what they mean or are trying to convey someone please help

they're all synonyms but they all have different meanings

light hearted might be used for like ur such an idiot /lh

non serious would probably be used for something like what's 1+1 /nsrs

and half joking i think would be used for something like follow me or ur homophobic /hj

i'm not rlly sure tho that just what i think i could be completely wrong

i think so it can be more specific to certain things cuz if you put something out there that is a joke but is also meant to be taken seriously it's kind of hard to just put /j or /srs

We deserved to see Seb wear makeup in season 2. Imagine the Climb in episode 5, but Seb is wearing some maroon eyeshadow that matches his suit, and some sparkly highlighter on his cheeks!

I agree with what you are saying, Seb's jealousy is most likely from all of his insecurities of him not being good enough for Carlos. What I am trying to say is how they didn't make it clear that Seb's insecurities flowed into jealousy and they didn't talk about the underlying problem. They had Carlos sing about all of it, but nothing else. We see more Ricky and Carlos friendship development then Seb and Carlos' actual relationship, Ricky says a song can mean everything but it can't solve everything so the fact that they "solve" the whole seblos fight with a song is just very odd and I don't understand why they didn't have them talk after and simply just had them become the perfect and happy couple they were before. Tim says he wants the only two openly gay characters to have a good relationship and not have them face any troubles, but that's treating them like they aren't real people living in an unaccepting society. I just think the whole thing should've been talked about with no one else interrupting or sitting there.

Seb has a french family so his first language is French, he moved to America when he was 5 so he learned English as fast as possible. He started taking a language in middle school and he took Spanish and he got really into learning it he was fluent in Spanish by Sophomore year. This was a VERY surprising fact to Carlos. Seb is trilingual, and is able to speak French, English, and Spanish.

seb gets extremely bad migraines and that's why he plays piano sm. the piano is soothing to his brain and gives him something to take his mind off the migraine. he's one of those ppl who will refuse to take their medicine until they feel like throwing up. carlos always sends a goodnight, remember to take ur medicine and ily text every night
