hello everyone!!! i would really, really appreciate it if you could take a minute to sign this petition in attempt to save derby county football club.

the club has been in administration for four months now and accepted a -21 point deduction punishment. there are currently 3 possible parties interested in taking over the club, despite this, the english football league are standing in the way of any takeover happening, and have instead given the club until 1st february to prove it can fund the rest of the season, or it could face expulsion.

a founding member of the football league, derby county has a very rich history, over 130 years of highs and lows at the very heart of the city. derby county is much more than just a football club, it’s a community, a family. from the likes of niall horan all the way to wayne rooney; this club has made a difference to so, so many lives. to lose it would simply be disastrous.

i, like many others, love and breathe this football club, the thought of it not being here in a matter of weeks is sickening. imagine your club on the brink of liquidation… unthinkable, isn’t it? so, football fan or not, please, please help to get this petition over 50,000 signatures and share!!!!
