Here are my proudest pixel art builds so far...
Makoto Yuki / Minato Arisato and Aigis from Persona 3
Tumblr media
My first Persona game was Persona 5 (Vanilla, if you were wondering. No, I haven't played Royal yet unfortunately) and I absolutely loved it. So, I decided that I wanted to check out the other Persona games. I played Persona 3 for the first time via the Portable version, and I loved it. Not as much as 4 or 5, but I loved it a lot.
These designs were made by Paul Robertson, who has done work for Rick and Morty, Gravity Falls, and the Scott Pilgrim game (there's a lot more, but those were the ones I could name from the top of my head). When I heard that he made the Persona 3 characters in his own style, I couldn't resist putting some of them in my Minecraft world.
As for the builds themselves, I'm very proud of how these turned out. I feel like I could have touched up Minato's hair with some different blocks though. I tried different shades of blue before I eventually settled on Blue Concrete.
I'm very proud of Aigis, it's definitely my favorite pixel art build that I've done so far. Especially how I used Yellow Terracotta on the golden bits. I think it looks awesome.
That's it for now. Cya!

Yet another pixel art build. Remember when I said that I prefer the Mega Man X games over the classic games?
Here's X from the Mega Man X series on the SNES.
Tumblr media
The story of how I got into the Mega Man X games is very similar to how I got into the Mega Man series as a whole. I saw MMXLC 1 & 2 on sale. I bought it and I fell in love with it.
While the MMX series is of debatable quality in the second half of the series (especially X6 and X7), I think that the good things about the series seriously outshine the bad. Like seriously, dashing in MMX feels so good, especially in the SNES games.
Unlike the last builds, I didn't use a fan-made design. But much like the last builds, I had to compensate a bit because I couldn't find the correct shades of blue that I needed in vanilla MC. You'll eventually notice that this is a common theme with some of my pixel art builds. But overall, I like how it turned out, and I think that's all that matters.
That's it for now. See ya!

I have three pixel art builds for you all today.
Shinji Ikari, Rei Ayanami, and Asuka Langley Soryu from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Tumblr media
I started watching Evangelion at the start of December and I immediately fell in love with it. In fact, The End of Evangelion is my favorite movie of all time. It's seriously messed up but also really fucking good.
I should note one thing about these designs;
I DID NOT MAKE THEM.
I'm not 100% sure who made them, I just saw the designs and I was like "Hm, this will look nice on my Minecraft world." I've tried reverse image searching but barely anything that showed the creator came up. The closest I got were two people named Sidorus00 and Sapphire1905_ (Although I'm not sure if they're on Tumblr).
If you know for sure who is the creator of these designs, please contact me so I can give proper credit! And if you're the creator and you want me to delete this post, I will do so!
As for the builds themselves, I like how they turned out. I had to compensate a bit for Asuka's hair color since I don't think vanilla MC had the exact shades I needed, but I still think that I did a pretty good job.

Here's another build that I made a few months back.
Quote and Curly Brace from Cave Story (Doukutsu Monogatari).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I bought Cave Story + on Switch back in May of this year (I think?) but I never played it much until around October of this year where I decided I was going to give it another chance, and I enjoyed it quite a lot.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with how the build turned out. This was the first time that I used the technique of 4 blocks equaling 1 pixel to make 8-bit builds appear bigger, and I like how it turned out.
Personally, I like the CS+ sprites more, but there's nothing wrong with the original sprites. That's it for now, cya!

I just joined Tumblr and I wanted to share some pixel art that I made in Minecraft a few months back.
Here's Mega Man and Cut Man from the first Mega Man game.
It's almost been a year since I first started playing the Mega Man series, I picked up MMLC 1 & 2 when they were on sale because I thought they would be fun. Almost immediately, I fell in love with the series. Even though I like the MMX games better, the classic games are always fun to go back to.
