#win rambles #i'm over it i finished the spanish course (the entire spanish course!) and it didn't even give me an achievement #it was the most anticlimactic thing i've ever experienced #ending on an 859 day streak goodbye #i signed up for mango through my library and have already learned more irish on there with 3 lessons than i ever did in duo #also it was going downhill anyway with the ai translators and making everything about xp and not learning and the STUPID hearts system #as soon as they added hearts on desktop it all went downhill FAST

About Me:

you can call me Win! I'm a writer, artist, and general creative, who is actually multiple people (i am also a plural system!)

I, Win (or Percy, if you know me irl or we are friends) am our system's main host, and the person you probably know! I'm front stuck, which means I'm pretty much always around, although others will pop in from time to time! We don't have a system name, so Win is a collective name you can use to refer to any of us, or all of us!

We're basically just a bunch of nerds in a trench coat

our writing/stories are a very important part of our plurality, and most of my headmates (system members) are introjects of my OCs. we also have a few fictives floating around in here

Note: we are NOT out as plural in our external life, only to select few (like my amazing partner). Tumblr is our ONLY space where we are open as a system

About My Work:

My book, The Silence Agenda, will be self-published ideally later this year or in early 2025!

The Silence Agenda is the story of Nyx and Avery, a professional assassin and a grad student, rooming together to try and save money. They plan to stay out of each other's way, but it's only so long before their secrets start to slip through the cracks. Some of which may be deadly.

My other main project is called That Makes Two Of Us! (formerly known as Sure Uncertainty) It's an 80s reimagining of The Comedy of Errors by Shakespeare, about two sets of identical twins separated at birth who end up at the same high school. It's a collaborative screenplay project I am working on with my partner @drama-dick !

no offence but the reason tumblr is “dying” is, well, yes, of course the cursed like/reblog ratio and the change in user behaviour (because of people being used to how instagram and tiktok work) BUT also the lack of weekly shows. i say it with my whole chest, they don't produce captivating and engaging stupid weekly tv shows anymore because streaming killed that so you have spikes of activity here when Something happens in general fandom or up to three days after a new season of whatever drops and then it's a wasteland. this is obviously an old woman yelling at a cloud missing supernatural and the vampire diaries and pretty little liars and all these other shows type of post but honestly give me back weekly tv shows where i have something to watch for 40 minutes almost every day of the week after work so then i can read and reblog it on tumblr give it back for the sake of my sanity

read something recently that said a majority of people don’t have a wall clock these days, thought it was interesting since I’ve always considered it an essential and functional piece of home decor.

like idk if our upstairs neighbors have any hobbies or jobs or anything bc it seems like all they do all day is drag furniture around the floor, stomp all over the place, fall over, drop things, and use their indoor bowling alley

As a kid, when your parents are poor, you're poor. If they don't have money, that means none of you have money. But if someone's parents are rich, that doesn't necessarily mean the kid is.
