For those that need a little help.... Love the questions. It shows how you care to know more about that individual. I’m guilty not asking enough questions because of my anxiety. But this is a good read!
soft asks to get to know people
what song makes you feel better?
what’s your feel-good movie?
what’s your favorite candle scent?
what flower would you like to be given?
who do you feel most you around?
say three nice things about yourself (three physical and three non-physical).
what color brings you peace?
tag someone (or multiple people) who make you feel good.
what calms you down?
what’s something you’re excited for?
what’s your ideal date?
how are you?
what’s your comfort food?
favorite feel-good show?
for every emoji you get, tag someone and describe them in one word.
compliment the person who sent you this number.
fairy lights or LED lights?
do you still love stuffed animals?
most important thing in your life?
what do you want most in the world right now?
if you could tell your past self one thing, what would it be?
what would you say to your future self?
favorite piece of clothing?
what’s something you do to de-stress?
what’s the best personal gift someone could give you (playlist, homemade card, etc.)
what movie would you want to live in?
which character would you want to be?
hugs or hand-holding?
morning, afternoon or night?
what reminds you of home (doesn’t have to mean house… just things that remind you of the feeling of home)?

Abandonment can control your mind if you let it...
At a early age I learned about abandonment from my father. At the age of 7 I realized I was not important. I was raised by my mother who did everything and anything to make me and my older sister happy. That included, being involved in my sports and supporting me 100% with everything. She knows me more than I know myself at times. I learned that abandonment is not always a bad thing. It made me a stronger individual and made me the mother I am today. At age 31, I can honestly say I am stronger then I have ever been. I learned to say no, instead of always saying yes. I have a voice. I have been in contact with my father since I got older and a bit wiser. I know I am not the only one that has or had resentment towards the parent that abandoned them. I finally caved one day and had to ask the WHY? “Why weren't you around?” “Why didn't you want me?” All the why’s in general. After asking, I was told what I wanted to hear but also things I didn't want to hear at the same time. My incentive was to get clarity and to forgive because it was eating me up inside. It’s a conversation most do not want to have. But to be honest it was the best thing I have done. I received understanding to some and I was able to express how I felt to all those years not having him beside me. I missed out on father’s day, Birthdays, daughter and father dances, just overall having a “Daddy” there to protect me through out my childhood.  That is all a void now since it is the past. All we have is now and the future. It is ok to remember the past and have sadness, but it’s not ok to keep the hurt bottled up forever. You have to live your life with clarity and forgiveness in order to be happy.
