i am constantly being suffocated by the long, dainty fingers i see in my dreams. they get tighter and tighter around my throat, restricting my calories, and trapping my voice.
because i’m not allowed to speak about it.
because if i do, then someone will make me eat.
they’ll make me shove those restricted calories down my throat, whilst those long, skeleton-like fingers are still there, waiting.
waiting until i’m done. and then they’ll find their way down my throat instead. and they’ll make it all come back up.
and sometimes, it’s not someone else who makes me eat. it’s me. i make myself eat that cake that looked oh so good on that little tray at the bakery i passed when i was on my run.
and i failed.

3. Exercise in your room.

6. Talk to someone. Phone a friend.

8. Sort out your wardrobe.
9. Declutter your room.
10. Write a diary - make it colourful. Include your reasons to lose weight.
11. Watch a documentary including:

Etc.
12. Play with your pet. Walk your dog.
13. Watch a movie. I like watching Breakfast at Tiffanys when I feel like eating shit.
14. Listen to music. Make up stories to it in your head
15. Write a story.
16. Start a blog.
17. Learn an instrument.
18. Learn a language.
19. Chew some gum or brush your teeth.
20. Paint your nails.
21. Try a new make up look.
22. Try on clothes.
23. Go shopping or window shopping.
24. Take a long bath with candles and music.
25. Go for a drive.
26. Walk to your nearest coffee place and get some green tea or black coffee.
27. Walk to your friends and ask if they want to go out somewhere.
28. Find a forest to get lost in.
29. Go for a spray tan
There are so many things to distract yourself when you feel like you’re going to binge. Don’t give in. You’ve already come so far!
