Sand Infused Star of David Ornament

We had a client bring sand back from Israel for us to make her a cross and Star of David...Holy Land Sand was born. We infused the sand from this very special place to make these ornaments and sun catchers. We wanted to make a connection in our hearts and in our artwork to a very sacred place that is timeless.

Each piece is hand cut glass infused with sand from Israel when fired in a kiln in our studio in Surf City, NJ. Then the Stars of David get silver wire wrapped and packed in a 5"x 7" eco friendly recycled kraft box with a printed gift tag enclosed.

Makes a great bar/bat mitzvah, wedding, Hanukkah gift for someone you love.

Here’s a little product info: Each heart is about 9” and is one of a kind made from glass bits that are then fired in our kiln for about 18 hours. We are offering this particular style of water turquoise colors and sunrise colors. No two will be alike. The crystal hanging in the middle is about 1-2 “. We have an assortment of heart crystals that we will use inside the heart. The hearts come with a hanging eye hook so you can easily put it right up in a sunny window to enjoy.

Stained Glass Window Weekend Class

This is a full weekend (11am-4pm Saturday and Sunday) stained glass class and must be scheduled in advance. Remember, bring a lunch!

**This Spring we have one weekend dates available! April 29 and 30, 2023 **

Learn the process of making a stained glass window using our professional tools, materials and guidance alongside artist Mary Tantillo and her team in this two day class. This is a great way to try this ancient craft, learn tricks of the trade, and create your own panel to take home at the end of the day. 11am-3 or 4pm, Saturday and Sunday. Make a 12”x14” or 13”x13” window.

Bring a few simple design ideas or choose from our pre-selected patterns. Wear comfortable shoes. Pack your lunch! Ages 15 and up

Cost is $675 per person. Pre-registration required. If you have a scheduling conflict last minute, we will work with you to apply your deposit towards one of our other classes or a purchase in store. We only offer this class once or twice a year… if at all.
