So I’m watching SNL and Bruce Springsteen is performing and a couple of things

A) he is kicking ass!

B) sounds amazing

C) is having the time of his life!!!

and it was making me think about @taylorswift and how she is just sounding better and better with time and how much she absolutely loves songwriting and making music and preforming and I feel like this will be her in 30 years when she’s in her 60’s and still preforming and doing amazing and just being the happiest person alive and it makes me so happy. 😍

My name is Sarah, I am 36 years old and have been a Taylor Swift mega fan since 2013/the RED tour. I liked her music and had a few of her songs in my iTunes library before then, so when my two little cousins (aged 14 & 16 at the time) asked if I would be their chaperone for the concert, I didn’t think twice about it!

They have an older sister, who is five years younger me. She was basically my little sister when we were growing up, but has been struggling with addiction for about 10 years now. She has been the source of a lot of pain in their lives as well as mine. It broke my heart to see what she was going through as well as what it was doing to her little sisters. I lived in DC at the time and they lived up here in Massachusetts so I was doing what I could to fill that “older sister“ role but the Taylor Swift concert was where everything changed.

The bond we created because of Taylor‘s music, the incredible role model she was for the girls who mean more to me than anything else, and the way she can make you feel like you were the only person in a stadium of thousands, are the reasons that my love for this woman is endless.

Not only can I relate countless situations in my life to her incredible lyrics she writes, but to this day, her music is what keeps my relationship with those girls so incredibly strong! Taylor Swift brought me my two favorite people in this world and I am eternally grateful.

So, in short, I love Taylor Swift. 💗
