I got a proxxon thermocut for Christmas and have been experimenting with making some brutalist 6-8mm terrain. This will mostly be for Legions Imperialis but also for some battletech.

Love the Proxxon, it makes working with foam so easy. This took me 2 days and I have no idea how long it would have taken me just using a craft knife.

Alice and Mol for my Turnip28 regiment are finally done and I'm incredibly happy with how these two came out! This project was a ton of fun and I can't thank everyone enough for the support as they followed it along with me these past few weeks! Now I just need to work on the rest of my army!

My funny little guys needed some cover to hide behind, so I made some barricades. They are primarily the interior packaging from some cookies, with trash and leftover hobby bits to add details.

Display tray

I was in the mood for some terrain without actual miniatures and had a leftover picture frame laying around. Some foamboard, scatter, paint and foliage later I now have a tray to display various miniatures on.

This mini had been sitting on my shelf partially painted for AGES. It was originally gonna be a purple and black nightmare dragon but I just wasn't feeling inspired at ALL.

This weekend I ripped him off his base, dug through my bits box, broke his hands, and put him in an entirely new setting. Primed over and repainted him entirely and now he's a ghostly graveyard dragon!

REALLY excited I finally got inspired and finished him!

And it goes not just for rejection, but failure in general.

Do things you're scared of doing for the sole reason you might fail at doing them.

maybe a mildly hot take but i think everyone should be well acquainted w rejection. my goal is to put myself in as many situations as possible, even w the knowledge in mind that it might end w me rejected in some form. bc not caring about that leads to so much growth, & the more exposed you are to something, the more desensitized you are to it. i wanna reach a point where i don’t give even the slightest fuck about rejection at ALL bc i know that it had nothing to do w me personally. things just don’t work out sometimes
