Isabel Guz in the 22nd-And-A-Half Century, pt.II: Those Decon Gel Scenes Sure Were Something Else, Huh?

Enterprise had these infamous scenes where the characters would strip to their underwear and rub each other's backs and necks and soforth with decontamination gel in a special decon chamber if a pathogen was detected in their system after returning from an away mission, since they didn't use their transporter and their transporters lacked bio-filters anyway. Though this procedure does seem plausible, it's pretty clearly intended to boost ratings, especially with how the camera framed everything.

1) The question you have to ask yourself in a situation like this is do you (A) say “Subcommander T’pol, I can reach my back on my own due to my very flexible limbs” or do you (B) stand there, stunned, unable to gurgle up a response?

2) Crewman Cutler, the entomologist, is picking alien insects out of Guz because every time Guz tries to get them out they just end up sticking into her hands.

3) Guz has to be so normal about this. She is not capable of being normal about this though.
