I personally think porn shouldn't be this easily accessible not on twt tbh.

and i 100% agree. i personally even think that porn videos should be abolished and prohibited in general because the porn industry brings more harm than good into the world 🤷🏽‍♀️.

what i also don’t understand is why people feel the need to bring these twitter porn links onto tumblr. keep it where it’s originated from. if readers really needed to look at porn and imagine their favs in those people’s places, then they’d do it on their own. with how easy accessible thise videos are — anyone could just go onto twitter, type in whatever to find those videos and imagine their fav fictional characters with themself.

that’s why im saying; those posters put in zero effort, but gain so much attention for things the readers / viewers could have done themselves. the actual (smut) fics on here are more ‘original/unique’ and ‘fun’ to read, because you couldn’t have written that down on your own. i mean, technically, you could — but not in the same exact way that writer has done.

it’s more interesting to read writers’ different takes & genuinely enjoy a well written story explaining the setting and scenario perfectly - than to watch a 20 sec vid captioned ‘gojo fucking you hard’ and have it be a brown haired white man fucking another white girl. like…. the visuals themselves don’t even make sense, bcs first of all that man in the vid doesn’t look nothing like gojo & the girl definitely doesn’t represent all readers or watchers.

in contrast to that, (x reader) fics allow you to freely use your imagination. the reader is you; you don’t need to watch a porn vid and see a white girl & force yourself to imagine that that is you when it’s not. support writers who put effort in their writing for you to consume and enjoy. it’s mostly harmless if you’re an adult — in contrary to those porn videos that exist for mainly male enjoyment.

Tae posted a movie scene with Leslie Cheung, an LGBTQ+ icon. Tae has posted a lot of queer art and artists and it always is such a big comfort to me. It feels so personal and tbh feels like he's giving me a big hug and support (i'm queer btw). Makes me so happy.

For those who didn't catch it before Tae, in true Tae fashion, deleted it, here are two screenshots of the post in question (one with the original caption and the second with the edited one):

The scene from a 1990 movie called Days of Being Wild showed actor Leslie Cheung dancing in a way that might seem quite familiar since Tae has been seen numerous times in the last year dancing like that as well. Here's a side by side one of our translators did over on twt.

Before ending his life in 2003 due to severe depression, Leslie was a celebrated and beloved Hong Kong actor and singer. He was also gay and had a partner who, till this day, still posts about him on his IG for their birthdays and the anniversary of his death even though it has been more than 18 years now.

And you're right, anon, both Tae and Bangtan as a whole have shown support and appreciation of members of the LGBT community, and the community in general, over the years. Admin 1 wrote a post about that which you can find here.

Not to be that person that makes everything about their ship but it's interesting how he posted that just past 4am, deleted it, and then posted a video to his IG story showing him lying in bed (with half the screen taken up by that picture of that guy paddling on the water which Tae took in Malta and which was seen in both his BE concept photo room and the Life Goes On MV hanging on the wall above Jimin's bed) while a song called Like Someone in Love plays in the background (which has since also been deleted). Make of that what you will.
