V SAD.... but beloved right til the end <3

I wasn't around for them #I used to not be able to remember any of it without other alters that were there telling me about it and showing me the memories #and I know a lot of these are memories that my source memories would normally mask because the emotions are the same #they're not even necessarily specific big events. we get a lot of mundane flashbacks and that's mostly what this is #but it still ends up being a really shitty time because of stuff like nostalgia and the fact that we were doing so badly back then #I think there's a lot of emotions that should have just happened and then finished happening and dissipated or whatever emotions do #but instead got shoved down and just stuck around as they were at the time and they randomly pop back up seemingly just as strong #so now our brain thinks it's 2016 again and I have to deal with the wild emotional shit we had going on as a teenager

i hope your day went well! this one’s a little more silly than anything. so i think that josh is a people person, and likes to to be liked by other people. i think to some extent his feelings get hurt when he’s not liked by someone, this also extends to pets as well. my sister has a black lab (122 pounds of pure love) (his name is cannonball. he loves to swim) cannonball is very much an only child kinda dog. what i mean is, every single boyfriend my sister has brought home cannonball has despised. he does not like my sister paying attention to anyone but him.

i picture josh and your dog having serious beef at first. like when you two are cuddled on the couch watching tv your dog is just staring daggers at poor josh. josh would squint back at the dog (like so 😑) he would say “munch i’m not sure your dog likes me much” and you just dismiss him because your dog likes everyone! at some point, josh feels guilty because you are stressed out, so he asks what he can do for you, and you ask him to walk your dog for you. once josh puts the leash on the dog, he absolutely puts on the brakes and will not move for josh. josh is so sad because he just wants the dog to like him!!! he just keeps encouraging the dog, “cmon boy! we’re doing this for munch!” and your dog just bites the leash and stares at josh. josh comes back with your dog feeling absolutely defeated, but doesn’t want to let you know that your dog was naughty so josh comes in all smiley and your dog trails behind him grumpily. after this, josh and your dog have major beef. josh has been nothing but nice to your dog! what’s his deal anyway??? lots of people like josh! why cant your dog like josh???? (he mumbles this to himself when he’s alone with your dog) one night, josh offers to make dinner for you. while he’s making dinner, he drops some scraps on the floor but doesn’t realize it. your dog spots it very quickly and comes in between josh’s legs to pick up the scraps. josh can’t help but giggle at how excited your dog gets, and magically, josh has wormed his way into your dogs heart! they become best buddies. the dog gets the tippy taps as soon as josh walks in the door and says “honey i’m home!” after josh greets you with a kiss on your nose, he instantly greets your dog with all the lovin. now, your dog loves to cuddle with josh and loves it when josh walks him! -🦦this is a total nonsensical brain dump abt dogs and josh bc those are my two favorite things.
