Strolling down the dirt path, Inari takes their time to take in the sights of the forest. they admit the natural melancholy took some time to get used to, it being clear the forest was under a spell of sorts; but sensing the faint rustle of the fox spirits nearby who called it home gave them some comfort.

“Hm…?”

Glancing upward, they peered into the canopy of the trees above them, faintly making out the shape of the Zoroark who promptly addressed them, smiling gently.

"Oh hello! I was hoping to run into someone eventually! Perhaps you could help me, if you wouldn’t mind?"

"I understand Lord Ninetails could be a busy god, still I hoped to try my luck in meeting them to get to know them better and have a better insight of their presence here in this realm. I wondered if we shared similar traits, answering the desires of both spiritual and mortal spirits alike, amongst other things, and if we had anything common. I admit, I wasn’t entirely sure on how to make an appointment, perhaps you would know? I don’t mind waiting, as I can understand I am coming in unannounced."

"If anything else, I was also hopeful to see the village for myself, purely out of curiosity as well. We’ve got nothing like it back in my realm, so I couldn't help my curiosity to learn more! Are you from there? What's it like it live there? How are the villagers there, are they doing well in the economy? Oh, is there a village elder? How many villagers do you have? Do they all serve Lord Ninetales or only some? Do you trade goods with other villages or do you typically keep yourselves closed off for that too? Oh, how about you? Are you happy here? Do you also serve Lord Ninetails or anyone at all? What's about the spirits that inhabit the forest?"

"As you can see, I'm bursting with questions! I apologize if it's a bit much, but you're welcome to take your time answering them. Oh! I also have some berries for your trouble, if you'd like some?"

Ingo’s fighting very hard to retire from Wardenship after seeing a whole train fall from the sky and land on the other side of Hisui. Unfortunately, this is a track he can not disembark until either him or Sneasler become permanently indisposed.
