How I feel about this character

My unpopular opinion about this character

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

1. I think he’s a great character with a lot of potential that is sorely underutilized. It’s hard to tell if the lack of character depth is due to writing or limitations of the Angiris. I know for my stuff, I’ve gone with the latter as a major plot point. He has a difficult job that sort of just fell into his lap that he’s really not made for. Hard to be the greatest warrior in creation when you’re also trying to lead the High Heavens.

The big, angry warrior types are not my thing, but he also has some great dialogue (especially in his HOTS appearance) that makes it really hard to dislike him.

2. I have trouble shipping Imperius with anyone (limitations on that within my own series aside), but I have a small soft spot for ImperiusxDiablo, mostly because of all their bantering in Wrath. Diablo, nonplussed he just got halved. They’re gonna get each other.

3. Imperius and Tyrael, and I really wish we got to see more of their interactions in the game universe and not just the flashback. So much of Imperius’ dialogue is with the Nephalem specifically. We do see more in Storm of Light, but again, it’s after Tyrael has already Fallen. Back story content would be lovely.

4. I don’t think he’s nearly as fond of his siblings as many people believe. I know I’m in the minority on this, and it’s more a gut feeling than any canon evidence. I think to be the hardened warrior he needs to be, that Imperius has difficulty and trouble forming relationships and attachments to things outside of the concept of the Heavens as a whole. 

5. Clarity for points 1 and 4. It bugs me when you can’t tell if character choices are due to incomplete writing or because of the actual character. There’s so much potential to develop the Council beyond what we see.

TFA Dark AU Blog Year Review!

It’s been a heck of a year, but it was a fun year for this blog! It was the beginning of this AU and blog, much inspired by nekonokami23, and was built up by you guys! The ones who have filled the ask box with tons of love and unique questions! And have allowed this blog to thrive over a +1000 followers! It’s been a wild ass ride.

So I’d like to take this post to review some of the art, what happened, and keep you up on our story :)

Art review

This blog went through a big ass glow up art wise, and as you can tell if you’ve been here from the beginning, or have seen, I didn’t know shit about drawing robots (How do they work??? Their blockiness is too much to comprehend...) But with time, they did become decent.

Let’s start with the main crew, each going from beginning, to end of 2019, starting with:

Optimus:

(Optimus and Bee were my most favourite glow ups Because it was through them that I actually understood bot anatomy)

(He was honestly quicker to grasp because he really be basic, but he hella cool)

(He’s been the hellish of characters to draw, because I can comprehend none of his anatomy, but its been my best improvement. I’ll tackle you some day god that sounded nasty)

(Story Review)

Oddly enough, while the Halloween Arc had been the most ambitious plot of the blog of that year, my favourite was actually the reveal of what was behind Optimus’ mask.

It was peek design and I at that time, had become much more fluent with my understanding for bot bods. It was also a powerful plot point for Optimus and Sari. I loved drawing it very much and the love Optimus and Sari got after that doubled.

Halloween Arc, on the other hand, was much more rushed than I anticipated. I had hoped to get the whole story out by the time I went for my Japan trip, which led to a drop in quality and story tension. Nevertheless, it was quite ambitious, and to this day, has a lot of likes and reblogs compared to other posts. And it introduced Blackarachnia, who will definitely be back.

Now comes the part where I update you guys on what the jizz is up!

As of now, the following timeline is from the beginning to the end of 2k19:

The blog starts (May 30th, 2019), it is somewhere after their encounter with the decepticons Blitzwing and Lugnut.

Introducing Optimus as an Empurata and Bee as a Triple Changer

Optimus gets handmade ‘gloves’ to cover the claws (At the request of followers)

Optimus opens more about himself, sparking Sari to act a little more mature than she would be.

The extent of Bee’s face changing is explored, but his third face is still unknown.

Optimus reveals what is behind his face

Blackarachnia is shown spying on the bots, a few days before Halloween

The Halloween Arc

The camping finishes, but it seems that some details were never mentioned.....

It’s honestly not as much, since I was still trying to establish character at that time. But now, in 2020, I plan to expose more of Bee’s past, and plot revolving him and give Sari her character development too.

And of course, there is also Megatron and his rising. But I’m still caught in a decision as to if I should move on with what did happen in the animated series, or create an entirely new timeline.

Minimus au

So @nekonokami23 idea

The minimus au,this time I'm having tfa ver. So here it is

So we know ultra was minimus ambus using an armor,so what if no one knew who he was except his friend(my oc),around time after he expelled Optimus before giving him another chance,he was out of his armor,arranging & pulling some strings to give Optimus a place in a spacebridge crew as their leader,what would happend if he accidentally got in the space bridge crew when he was not in his armor?

How?

Simple,he & his mysterious friend decided to visits them & when he was told by his friend to wait outside before going inside while they check something first but by pure accident sentinel was there at the time & saw him standing without realizing he was ultra magnus,thinking he was part of space bridge repair crew,he called in optimus & told they had another member that joining them,before even minimus could protest sentinel already dropped him with the others.

Because no one knew who he was,he decided to introduce himself as minimus ambus,the repair crew we're curious of him.

Bonud:he wore a light blue visor to hide his optics because it was red,

By the time they left,it was too late to get him back so around time before they crashed land on Earth,he called for alpha trion & his mysterious for help,since they only know his secret,however they told him something that upsets but perks up his interest,they convince him to stay & know them more,he doesn't know why but he realizes they had their reason,he learned that when he was still a minor.

So while he join Optimus & his crew through the adventure s,the two programed ultra magnus armor to do the work on cybertron.

How are hey able to programed the ultra armor if the controller wasn't inside?

Ans.

Simple with minimus mysterious friend who is a scientist & inventor & with alpha trion, they sought a way to program he armor with anyone controlling inside,instead they use a special chip they created that can help control it.

Who knows minimus is ultra magnus?

Ans.

Only alpha trion & his mysterious firend.

Of course ratchet & prowl,the two accidentally saw his red optics & nearly killed him if he didn't mention he was a load bearer,ratchet check his code & he was telling the truth,he only told them half ofnhe truth on how he got here & the other half he made it a little more convincing.

You an ask me more & I'll answer for them for you...:)

Also smol bonus:

Minimus realizes how a complete aft is sentinel & he found out he was responsible for the archa 7 incident through optimus,Optimus took the blame caused by elita(blackarchnia)& sentinel,he decided to conclude a plan & made a list of what he gonna do & make changes as overtime how not only done such drastic acts but also how ye war effected others.
