Starz…
they sparkled so brightly once upon a time back in season 1
Made us fall in love with their show and their cast…
They allowed their stars to interact, showed bts and the promos were out of this world…it was fun!
Then they spun us some lies and killed the atmosphere…JMHO
After the lies life became awkward, the stars appeared controlled unsure what to do or say…JMHO
You reap what you sow…
For all those cancelling their subscriptions well unfortunately it’s the only voice they will listen to. Let’s face it if you want to watch the rest of the season it will be on other platforms soon enough. Hitting them in the pocket appears the only way to reach them (if you have that power, or desire?) otherwise they will just be like…
The treatment and manipulation of this fandom has been despicable.
It’s incomprehensible just how badly managed and slow this has been. Other brilliant shows can manage to put out season after season with many doing more episodes per season, keeping true to their characters and have high quality scripts and production. Some shows also concluded on a high whilst still filming around covid and made no excuses.
(My faves being Peaky Blinders, Animal Kingdom and Line of Duty)
It’s obvious they are now focused on BOMB and it’s embarrassing to watch their ignorance regarding treatment of outlander fans who they need for BOMB to thrive. (# love Nell Hudson)
How to finish off both shows and the fans…
They only have themselves to blame. The stars and fans remain not important…
Let’s face it the end of this fiasco is the freedom and happy ever after everyone is waiting for…JMHO
If you subscribe to Starz now just to see the end, imo you are at their bidding, you are allowing them to treat you like shit and just as they predict most of you will continue. Every last 💵 they can squeeze out of you they will. You have a choice….no NDA has been signed by the fans! Power is in the 💵. JMHO. Do/believe what you want!

I saw the last post of skippyangel16 and I agree, that Sam is playing with all sides of this fandome. And there is no difference in his interactions for the shipper side as for the Sam only side. Cait stated it clearer for herselft, starting with the interview in 2016 that they aren't together and said this several times after that. She don't give the shipper side an illusion. So the question is why can't Sam let the illusion of them together go and stated it as clear as Cait?
I agree with you that they always keep all sides of the fandom happy, even if they generally tend to denounce even the craziest stans less than shippers.
BUT I disagree with you about Cait's role in this whole comedy.
She leaves as much room for interpretation with her behavior as Sam does, and that's still the case after her engagement/wedding.
Just a reminder, the flirty appearance at the T2 premiere,
Landcon 2018 or the statement that she has butterflies in her stomach when she watches the love scenes with Sam. All that doesn't exactly show distance from the subject, let alone show of respect for her "husband".
So no, it's not just Sam, it's both of them!

Seriously? Sharing a star with Tomlinson?
Never heard of before today but…
The Ostend Film Festival is an annual film festival held in Ostend, Belgium. The film voted by a jury as the best in the competition section receives the Best Film Award. A highlight in the Flemish film year, the Ensor Awards take place at the end of it to honor the cinematic achievements by the industry. Wikipedia ( launched 2007)
TCND was on as a premier… so why the star now?
According to the festival …
To honor their visit to Ostend, Dries Vos and the cast will be honored with a star on our prestigious Walk of Fame. This special recognition on the promenade marks their exceptional contribution to the world of film and television.

So they just showed up and got a star for individual past works?
So why did ‘they’ ….Sam and Eleanor get a star? There was a cast of 4 and in my mind all equal? Silly me obviously not that equal? Did Driez Vos get a star on his own?
Anyway, never in my wildest did I expect that this soap opera of a series would lead him to have his name immortalised in a star with Tomlinson…dear god!
As the star was not specific to TCND…why do they have to share one? Now forever linked 🙄.
My cynical mind …another NOT WITH BALFE.
We all know S&C were robbed of true accolade in Outlander along with Tobias imo.
Sam will never be automatically linked with Tomlinson. Another year TCND will be forgotten. It’s not going to be binged over and over imo. It’s barely getting the ratings. But yes he has his name in a star and his work has been recognised…in Belgium. Where everyone knows his name.
It’s sad but Sam should have had a star years ago with a certain lady. It’s like season one and two of outlander never happened. This was quality! This was sexy! This was hot! THIS WAS CHEMISTRY NOT TCND! This was what paved the way for TCND, side to side its shite Sam. Your chemistry does not waver so give up the sexy leads, unless it’s Balfe it seems to be an epic fail…but yes the best effort so far 🤷♀️JMHO
You will never replicate this hotness so play a different role…
Unfortunately the only Star that will ever be for them is the one with the z in it…but one can live in hope!
TCND, I stand by my review 👇out of all of them Jessica De Gouw was the stand out. Give her a star …

I don’t give S or C much of a ‘that’s sad’ thought these days, mainly because they participate in the narrative, but I do hope their public future turns to the truth sometime soon because this has sucked the life out of her yet again….absolute tragedy of what could have been but more fool her for continuing to do it🤷♀️.
Only she knows why she didn’t set her boundaries in stone of what she would or wouldn’t do to keep the secret…Now trapped in a nightmare of their own making. Her continuous participation is pure self destruction…it remains sad to watch.

👆This just about sums it up for me, a real review from a real paper not a paid promo success piece from Hello or channel 4 blowing its own trumpet. If you google the series IBMd has it rated 5.2/10 at the moment of writing. (Saying something is brilliant does not make it so, unless you want to brainwash. Kenneth springs to mind taking a whole year+ to talk up Belfast so he would finally get that Oscar for the not so outstanding Belfast 🙄)
The Guardian Nov 2023 promo it as The couple next door a sexy fantastic time …4 stars but then by the 3rd Dec it’s no longer raving about it with an honest review.👇

Well for me TCND started off with a ‘OMG not again!’ for the opening shot. I said to hubby ‘I hate it when they do that!’. The second scene supposedly set in Leeds wtf? Why didn’t they find a more convincing housing estate…then (Sam) Danny picking up the washing machine…dear god it made me cringe and that’s just for starters!
Sam…I could not get past his ‘Yorkshire’ accent?… well he did his best, it came through well some of the time. It’s sad but production were aware they were not going to predominantly film in Yorkshire or substitute location with a suitable comparison so why the need for him to do a Yorkshire accent? They could have set this story anywhere. Why not let Sam do his normal Scottish accent ? Far more sexy! Bad decision imo.
I could go on…especially the ladies dress code for a casual UK BBQ, LMAO. For sure my neighbour and I need to up our game at our next one! Seductive dresses, tits out and heels on! Husbands can’t wait…🤣
Does it appear Sam was hired for his body?…absolutely! Is he typecast as the guy who does sex?…looks like it. If he wanted to up his stakes as a good actor imo this was not the project. Can he do chemistry with anyone but Caitriona?… barely, but this was his best effort so far. Sex scenes and build up no 🔥 for me. I found it more cringe so fast forward came into play. Seems Sam is okay with full nudity and grinding again so can’t wait for OL S8! No need for J&C sex scenes to be PG…
Continuity, script, direction, production…dear god did outlander do it?
Out of all the actors Jessica De Gouw (Becka) stood out with a consistent performance.
Gripping? Nah, wanted to give up many times but finally got past ep 3 and pace seemed to increase so eventually got to the end which was then suddenly abrupt.
I wanted to like it, but for me it was blah…should have been amazing! Fail is more down to script, direction and production, had a giggle most of the way through at the script and said wtf and why a lot? ….🤷♀️still they all had fun making it and got paid!
For those who thought it enjoyable and hot I am really pleased for you! Sex for sex sake came to my mind, script all over the place one minute quite good another that’s shit.
For me in the words of a true Yorkshire man…
Maybe if I had a couple of wines with the cheese and knew it was not going to be a quality drama but a cheesy soap it would have gone down better.
Strikes me his fate in life is to be an alcohol god, that’s his true path…acting gave him his wife and family and that’s all he needs from it. It appears it’s not in his destiny for it to do anything more than that…🤷♀️JMHO
So if you haven’t seen it and want to then I suggest lots of wine and lower your expectations to a tv movie or soap and you will probably enjoy it and think it’s better than it was…🤪

The Waypoint when ‘it’ was given life and perhaps they lost their way for good?
Three’s a Crowd…and it always appears there’s three in this ‘public marriage’. 2018…when they ALL took on their roles!
Whilst they could be contractually obliged to deny their relationship, no one could make them do what they have done.
They gave it life and it continues to grow…

How anyone can’t see the performance 🎭 is beyond me? Pure Hollywood…
Since then they have both actively supported the narrative more and more each year so whilst you can feel sorry for them back in 2016 (when they appeared to be pressured to go underground)today it’s harder. With every performance they do they make it more unlikely that they will come out anytime soon. His book reiterated Cait is the only woman but it also brought the brother/sister relationship to the fore again🤮. I’m afraid that’s pretty much made my mind up there’s no imminent plan to come clean. He has cemented his single commitment free life in black and white, any u turn on that now revealing a totally different version with his ‘perhaps sister’ would have a huge backlash from those who part with 💰 for his products. Alas although his alcohol business is growing it’s likely he is more reliant on fan sales than he would like to be. Maybe one day it won’t be so but perhaps single Sam will be around until the scales tip the other way?🤷♀️
There is no denying they actively manipulate all sides of the fandom…ours included, but the fact remains our side is basically them just being themselves and most of the time it just happens naturally! IMO 🤪
But it’s not all innocent …

Single Sam will never be convincing when all he talks about is his married co star and when in her presence looks at her as if she is the only woman on earth.
Lies are poison, a sure path to self destruction. I don’t wish to watch that happen or anymore cycles of this shit show. They are actually abusing their fans by doing this imo. Excuses will always be made for whatever Sam does by thousands here, his god like persona and charm are like a spell that keeps us all engaged. His ability to come out of everything smelling like roses is truly amazing. He knows exactly what he’s doing and what he will get away with. Denying his family as his truth ✅ yep seems there’s nothing he can’t or won’t do and yes fans have already excused him. JMHO.
Everyone will continue to make excuses for him until you can’t, my tipping point is him denying his family in his memoirs. Call it artistic license if it makes you happy, or blame the ghost writer, but I wouldn’t want to put that out into the universe.🤮
Sold it as His truth…totally supporting the narrative, nothing good about that.
I knew once I reached the point that I believe they are totally complicit in their fan manipulation for their own gain I would leave. They may not have started out that way or intended to reach the level they are at now but that’s how toxic Hollywood works. ‘It’ has become their normal. They are their own jailers and complicit in their own narrative imo. It’s their life and their choice on how they want to play/live it. I choose not to watch it any further. Sam has shown his true colours in this book, no one to hide behind. Who is Sam Heughan? Well con artist springs to my mind at this point in time but that’s JMHO. I no longer like what I see so therefore I just don’t care anymore. I still believe they are together but there is no joy in watching this farce, there are no winners here.
I came here for a love story but all I see is a public tragedy on display and a private tragedy waiting to happen as their lies engulf them…I hope they find their moral compass and follow it again soon. What could have been their best years have now gone by. No doubt they will one day cash in on their Hollywood love story, may even star in it as themselves…but that’s some way off imo. They are as free as they want to be, the only one that actually needs freeing is Tony but maybe he’s happy and got a job for life?
His book is my waypoint out of here. I can finally see them for who they really are, as I don’t wish to blog negatively I’m freeing myself of their lies and manipulation. They only have themselves to blame for what the fans believe here whatever side your on. It’s an ugly, sick game and a total turn off… it’s not good for anyones mental health!

Let’s never forget or take for granted how clever Sam is! What I absolutely love about him is his consistency, his ability to dodge a question, his ability to avoid hurting his family by saying anything that will come back to haunt him when this is all over. Most of all I love how he always manages to show us what’s true in his life and that he can do this without saying much at all, or just by dropping hints!
Recent activities that speak volumes …a reporter asks you about a certain beard that PR are desperate for you to be seriously linked with and you are having none of it and bat it out of the ball park! He left the viewer unsure if he was taken or not 🤣 certainly told anyone curious the latest one was not even on his radar!
He told us who is on his radar…again 🤪😉😍!
It appeared he wore a ring on a certain finger out in public whilst out with his one true love for a date night…🥰
This recent released footage from last birthday shows the love and sheer joy he shares with the camera woman! The only woman that he ever gives this look to! Mrs Giggle 🤭🥰
The day before his birthday, he shares with us his lunch date, she looks amazing and very happy!
He spent his birthday working for charity, (a great idea, stops him having to be set up with another beard sighting!)…he also supported his one true loves passion/charity. She loves her trees which surprisingly is her birthday theme also…so great keeping it in the family! JMHO
His evening gala has him wearing his first love sassenach tartan…whatever way he can she’s always with him, added bonus protecting the jewels😉
Our narrative/ his truth JMHO, well he looks really, angry, annoyed and distressed by it!
How no one can see what this man is oozing from every pore is beyond me!
