AYYYYYOOOOOOO Ever a classic. GrimmNel is good shit. HMU to plot something for sure!

I can personally be a bit finicky about this ship, I’m very pedantic about the dynamic. I think it can definitely be done but I usually find myself veering towards a more friends with benefits type situation or a sibling-ship (which I assume I must have gotten from canon, idk where else it would have come from).

Grimmjow generally doesn’t handle romance very well, even if it looks like he does. He’s pretty solidly on the greyromantic spectrum, really very close to the aromantic side. So it’s a bit of a balancing act. It would require a lot of work and chemistry building on the muns side but I’m so up for the challenge!

Grimm is very slow to open up (as @rukia-kuchiki-divided​ knows) and it takes him a very long time to switch people out of the “threat” category. He works in the dichotomy of threat/prey/pack of which none of them is an ideal basis for a romance. So he first needs to build a whole new mental category for them that doesn’t fill either of those schemas and then a relationship can start to form.

ooc; Grimmjow is not a particularly sexual creature by nature. He doesn’t crave his own touch and orgasm is ultimately inconsequential when compared to the endorphin rush that follows victory in battle. He’s not prone to masturbate at all - with the exception of one attempt right near the beginning when he first was testing out his new human-shaped body.

Grimmjow is a - dare I say it - surprisingly honest person! He can usually smell when someone else is lying, and for a long time, many hollows were able to do the same to him. He circumvents this easily by not lying. More frequently he will simply omit details or information.

When it comes to sex, there are very few people he would even consider sleeping with. Every single one of them is a person he trusts with his life. If he trusts them with his life, he doesn’t see a reason to lie to them.
