I'd say something about the process of making this but my brain is just going aaaaa VHS Christmas Carols my beloved <3 so I guess that's all you get, sorry.
AJ and Curt were both amazing as the Scrooges this year, and I am soooo excited to watch the show again now that I've finally finished this artwork. best motivator ever when Ye Olde Procrastination started kicking in.
(this show is so good! you should watch it! get a ticket and watch it now! for your own sake, listen to Jake Jack!)

It's so interesting how a some people ship Mal and Nia while I see the least romantic potential between them in the party. I think Mal and Imtura would work, they have similar personalities, they love to get into some trouble and andventure. Of course Mal and Tyril have a fun dynamic with all the banter, I could see them get together. As for Nia, I could see her fit well with Tyril. When the we met him, he was only friendly towards Nia, giving her share from card game and later showing her a special place in Undermount. But these are just my interpretations.
If I unsheathe it, I will be qualified as the next Gwanju meaning you will be disqualified from getting that position. Do not worry. I cannot unsheathe it for now. "For now"?
@gaiuskamilah hi sorry can't send you asks so im tagging you here but like feel free to ignore me. anyway i saw ur post saying that if aerin was a woman you wouldn't shut up about her and now im mad because aerin would be so interesting as a woman
like. the massive rejection he feels in the palace never really made sense to me but if he were a woman? of course she'd always be in the shadow, of course she'd be rejected, of course she would never raise her voice at baldur because it's unbecoming and aggressive and of course everyone would take baldur's side. of course she'd be disgusted with him. of course she couldn't just poison him and call it a day, because despite his abuse towards her, it wouldn't just be about him. of course she'd rather destroy the whole world than just kill him because she's not only mad at baldur, she's mad at the whole world for always wanting her to be subservient and accept being degraded. of course it'd feel liberating to be "evil". and of course baldur would treat her this badly, because he's nothing if not a fucking misogynist. and of course her fake persona of choice would be so overly sweet and innocent, because that's what's expected, demanded of her as a girl
and then being ostracized and isolated (which really isn't all that different from before) and so fucking bitter after it all. craving to be seen and understood. "you'd still have me? even as i am?" idk. idk. i think there are many things that work well with aerin being a man but if he were a woman his story would gain such different, arguably bitter understones and now she's trying to move into my brain
This blog is my house so I can say basically whatever I want but I know I have some esteemed guests and friends who come over a lot and some lurkers who peer into the windows so all my wildest ass wizard shit stays in the locked basement where it belongs because it's common courtesy 💖
