2022 Xmas card trades were mini shaker bottles!...because past!Me decided to randomly buy some. Can you see the common thread between all my craft projects XDD These were actually pretty quick to put together all things considering (which was great cos I started them really late lol).

Pro tip never use plastic bottles like I did because ugh they scratch so easily.

Made from: Mini plastic bottles, craft paper, pipecleaner, felt, beads, buttons, thread, matchsticks, random scrapbooking bits and bobs

any ideas for what to put on bottle cap pins?

Yes!! I love making bottle cap pins! Here are some I made recently that I just have to attach a pin to!

I usually just start painting and then try and figure out something as I go, but heres a list of ideas:

Band Logos

Things related to your stances on issues you care about (hence land back and save the bees)

Gender/Sexuality related stuff (pronouns, colors, symbols, etc)

Symbols (safety pin, the raised fist, religious symbols if you do the religion thing, etc)

Paint a bottle cap and have friends write messages on them for you, put your favorites on your jacket

Paint vinyls or CDs on them (or other circle things)

You can also print out images and adhere them to the caps (I recommend mod podge). Here are some other ideas I snatched off the internet:

That was one of the first scenes I ever wrote for my fic Linger. It's down the line in Rhett and Lou's relationship, but it's very much the moment he realizes he's in love with her. It's so sweet.

Here's a lil peek at the scene

He’s a dog. He knows that, and he doesn’t really care what people think of him. They can think what they like, but he’s never wanted anyone the way he wants Lou. Not even Maria. It comes as a stark realization even to himself. He wants Lou. He has probably wanted her from the beginning, and the way she looks at him now, he feels the anxiety of not being good enough creep up on him. Lou’s head is cocked to the side and there’s a barely there smile on her face as she looks at him. It’s too much, too intense, and yet, somehow, it’s not enough. He fights the urge to lean forward and kiss her, to take the hat off his head and place it on hers, so everyone knows he’s claimed her. Except he doesn’t have the right to do that. Lou hasn’t expressed interest in him, at least not like that. The few times he’s felt the heat of her gaze, he’s talked himself out of it. He’s good at talking himself out of things, especially feelings he shouldn’t have. Lou deserves the world. A gentleman who can give her everything she dreams of and wishes for. That’s not Rhett. His heart aches with the knowledge. She takes a long sip from her bottle, and Rhett watches the pale skin of her throat, imagining what it’d be like to run his tongue up the column of it. He wonders if her sweet spot, the one that’ll make her moan every time, is just behind her ear. A lot of people’s are.

Unable to get a clear or concise idea on Tem's goals, part of him wondered if she missed home even remotely.

From the way her curiosities gauged however, it left him with doubts, but he kept his mouth shut on such matters.

"Does that get'cha in the mood to hop up n' head out there?" Another morsel of freshly baked cheese and tasty sauce briefly quiets him, a hum of approval easing from his throat.

"From how I've seen it? There really is no limit when it comes to the Realm of Light. Considering all the traveling me n' my gang then, we haven't even scratched the surface." Yet, Sora doesn't sound one bit disappointed about that. Speaking about the methods of travel, he decides to be stark on the matter. "It's one of my options now days, there is my power I can use for another means of travel-- Only limit is that I have to be familiar with the world."

What would you say is Caelus's best quality?

Easy!

The fact he takes so many things seriously.

His conversations, the inner thoughts about inanimate objects (and their life stories), throwing himself into every little act he does, etc etc. To him life is something meant to be celebrated, and that certainly means no half-assing on that route. So don't let his way of being 'dismissive' at times fool you.

Now this isn't be confused with his scale of investment. While he'll take something dumb as hell seriously, it doesn't mean that it'll be the thing to 'pierce the heart' so to speak. It just means that he'll give it the due respect it deserves and remedy it accordingly. Unless it's fun, then he might just join you on that.

So in a lot of ways it also leans that he'll be genuine when it comes to the intertwining of life stories. What you're into, how you approach life, it's all details he like etching to memory. Due to being a Nameless, it's a lot more open to strangers as well, not just his friends or companions.

It also opens the door in how measures of authority will naturally butt heads with him. If it's for someone's day to get better, he won't hesitate to jump through those loops (within sensible reason) to have that come to light. Even if it means high profile people like Herta may be pissed at him.

Which, fair. She should be if she isn't busy worming her way into something else.

But yeah, that's the gist of it.
