Nanami falls in love like a quiet sunrise, there everyday, so consistent, and bright, and warm. The world is quiet for a few moments before the sun rises, there's no birdsong, no sounds of civilization, even the wind has fallen silent, letting him prepare himself for his endeavor. And then, once the silence grows so deep, you think it may never end, birdsong bursts into the air, cars start down the road, and the wind blows once more. Amidst this symphony of life, Nanami covers the sky in a myriad of colors, painting it passionate reds, loving pinks, and joyous yellows. You might not be awake to see his masterpiece, and thats okay, he thinks, because he'd paint the sky for you everyday, forever if you wanted him to. So he tries. He tries to paint the world in gorgeous tones for you, hoping that one day you'll wake up early and see it. But you don't. And Nanami can't bring himself to pull you from your peaceful slumber. He continues to paint the sky, but it starts to fade. Passionate reds turning to rust, loving pinks fading to bland blushes, joyous yellows washing out to a sickly pallor. They degrade nearly to the point of becoming monotone. It's no longer a bright, warm, loving sunrise, instead it's fallen to something boring, dim, and cold. And you notice the cold. You wake up and notice that the world is no longer as warm as it used to be. You peek out the window to find the source of the chill, and you see the sunrise. Having never been awake to see the sunrise before, you find it gorgeous. Even with the faded colors, it's unlike anything you've ever seen before. Nanami realizes you've seen the sunrise he's painted for you, and suddenly all the warmth in the world comes rushing back in. Its only when the colors of the sunrise come filtering back in that you realize what you've been missing. As you watch the sunrise in all its glory, you silently resolve to wake up every morning to watch the sunrise. For as long as sure as the sun rises, Nanami will be there, painting it just for you.
