do you think the obsession with ‘style consistency’ in online art communities is mostly caused by this idea that your art style needs to be easily marketable & recognizable as a brand (especially when you’re working as a freelancer). i see the /least/ amount of progress in my art whenever i try to aim for style consistency. i don’t know exactly where i’m going with this but i think there’s some sort of connection between trying to monetize/market your art & limiting your growth as an artist. and i think it’s very sad.

#in theory i don't really want to monetize my art i just want to make things. but if i was going to make money out of anything #i'd at least want it to be something i like doing. you understand my problem. #i don't know if i posted this before & deleted it. i have a tendency of deleting my thoughts as soon as i post them. but #this is something i think about a lot. especially when i think about my goals for the future. like opening up a patreon. or making a website #i don't know what makes my art 'my art' other than the fact i made it. i don't know how to theme my future patreon or my website #and it stresses me out thinking that i'll do better if i can market it in a specific linear way #that isn't really natural to how i think about art in general

She would've just not survived that. So she convinced them #that she is a True Soul. She is good at convincing people. It worked. They thought she is on their side. Good #Halsin also though Viivi was on their side. Halsin attacked Viivi's party. Now Halsin is dead. #So Viivi and her group were still alone deep within enemy fort. Viivi made new plans. She frees the prisoner who says he will warn the grov #Good thinks Viivi now they know to flee. I will go to Minthara and tell we got the information from prisoner of the grove location #she will trust us and we walk off #when we get back to grove they have not fled and Minthara is at the gates #Minthara wants Viivi to sound the horn. Zevlor wants Viivi to sound the horn. Viivi asks Zevlor to please tell this plan in detail. #Zevlor says just blow the horn already. Viivi does that. Minthara thanks Viivi for leaving the gate open as planned #Zevlor does not thank Viivi for that. Viivi is confused as she did not leave the gate open. i love the idea of cody and obi-wan needing to go undercover for some mission that they do not trust anakin, rex, and ahsoka for. they somehow end up with a ridiculous backstory of being a married couple from a farming planet who'll spy on a separatist command base and rex—rex just can't fully wrap his head around it.

"so you and general kenobi are meant to be a lovers?"

"yes."

"and you're supposed to," rex waves his hand in a flimsy, confused motion, "play the part?"

"yes, vod. we've already done the debriefing. weren't you paying attention?"

"not in the slightest. what if the general wants to hold hands?"
