groaning, katsuki closes the apartment door behind him with a bit more force than necessary.

toeing off his shoes at the door, he strides in with his full suit, excluding the gauntlets. those were a bit too dangerous to bring home, especially with your puppy being a bit too curious at the moment.

"i'm home!" calling out, he clumps back onto the couch.

he hears your footsteps before he sees you, and just knowing you were there with him eases the weight on his chest.

"hey, baby," you smile, walking around the couch to face him. he pats his lap, so you take a seat, your arms winding around his neck like a second home. "how was work?"

katsuki rolls his eyes, making a low sound at the back of his throat. your smile grows softer.
