When Bruce dies , who's in his will and who's getting what? Is he gonna watch from heaven sighing over the Robin being idiots?????

No one. It all goes to Alfred. 

It’s definitely something that changes over time, because even in death, or especially in his death, he wants to make sure that there is something prepared not only for his kids but for gotham. 

His priority being, however, the kids. 

There’s definitely a significant portion tucked away for donations to Gotham Orphanages, still mostly in his parent’s name rather than his. The other as an emergency fund for Bat Family shenanigans. Tech upgrades. And the like, even if he does make sure that the family still has direct access to Wayne Tech and R&D. 

This he’ll probably leave with Babs and Tim. He trusts them to make the most of that. 

And I think he’ll leave his shares with either Tim or Damian, because he knows they’re the ones that might be interested at least in continuing that part of his legacy. The weight of the Wayne name and all. Regardless, he’ll definitely make sure at least all of the kids, Babs included, get in some way a share of the company. 

If he’s gone, he’ll make sure they’ll never want for anything. Or at least have some security bonds / stocks in their name. 

He’ll leave the Manor with Dick and Jason. Because he trusts them to treat it at least better than he did. To continue or at least make it a better home than he did. And to make sure there’s always going to be a place there for anyone who might need it. 

Jason and Stephanie definitely get some of his cars. If they don’t want to keep or donate the others. 

 Cass gets a letter. They all do, of course, but Cass definitely has one that’s a bit longer than the others. Because it’s definitely something he started when he first took her home. 

And he leaves his important Black Book with all his cases and the rest to Damian. Because he’s sure that boy was going to find it anyway and try to one up him by figuring out all the cold cases he couldn’t. 

Honestly, each of the kids probably get a property too. I mean he’s incredibly rich. And financially, he would really make sure they would be able to take care of themselves or at least have assets to give up should they need to. 

The cave, honestly, if he dies, he might put it in his will that they give it up. Let it end with him. Kind of a non-binding clause, because he’ll put it, just to say it. Just to maybe convince them to live their lives outside of the Bat symbol. 

Again, this probably changes every year or so. Bruce sits down and goes through all the worst case scenarios and all the bad things that’s happened in the year and adapts. But he makes absolutely for certain the Manor and the company stays with the kids.

What's the one thing Bruce loves most about each Robin`?

Robin!Dick : JOY / LIFE . Thematically, every Robin has come into his life at just kind of the right time when he needed them. But Dick as both son and partner is someone that inspires joy and life into Bruce. He's so important into shaping the kind of Batman Bruce actually becomes and just -- can't lose that boy.

Robin!Jason : TENACITY . Like there’s obviously more to Jason as Robin and Jason as a person but like he met this boy with so little and so much loss and pain and made him want to adopt him like their very first meeting. And like it’s close to how it was with Dick but kidn of more  if that makes sense because there’s a different NEED when it came to him meeting Jason. It ws kind of an imprint moment of just knowing that Jason needed him so he couldn’t leave him alone. 

Robin!Tim : HOPE. I can’t say if its because Tim is hopeful or because Tim in his entirety symbolises hope in Bruce’s eyes. Because again, Tim as Robin came when Bruce was so close to his breaking point. And kind of a breath of fresh air because he came into his life without the baggage of tragedy when you compared it to the previous boys. And Tim always has so much faith in him. So a large part of Bruce definitely has higher standards not only because of circumstances but also because he can’t disappoint Tim. 

Robin!Steph : AUDACITY . Like I’m not just talking personality wise, although that’s definitely a factor too. But even for Bruce who firmly believes that people can change, if given the chance, Stephanie who kinda proves that very idea to him every day by being Spoiler or Batgirl or Robin or whatever is such an admirable thing to him. It’s bravery to try and be good. To fight him when he’s wrong OR EVEN WHEN HE’S RIGHT. Like not everyone gets to slap Batman, come on. 

Robin!Damian : HEART . Bruce gets caught up in SO many things about Damian that leads to a lot of failure in communication on his part. Because there’s so much of Damian he feels like he’s lost. His childhood. His identity. A lot of it happened excluding him. So when Damian came into his life, he was almost a fully formed person and AS A concept, really not something Bruce could have predicted or handled. BUT what awes him about Damian is that even as a bred child assassin, there’s so much love in that boy. So much heart under all that facade. So much sou just wanting to get out. He loves that. Like his boy is so good and he tries so hard and even when he struggles, he can see he gives it his all to the people he cares about. 

Robin!Carrie : COURAGE . Like given the context of TDKR, Carrie endeared herself so easily to Bruce by doing something I think he definitely thought at that time the word has lost. That bravery to do good, to do what’s right against insurmountable odds even at the risk of your own safety.

There is, as always. A note left with the empty cup by the computer. Not to tell Bruce to join him in bed, or to really remind him of anything that might slip the mind. Tho you could argue that was indeed the case. The note simply said; I love you, Bruce.

Three little words. Not something Bruce is wanting to forget but his mind was a palace of important and innocuous facts. The more relevant bits sometimes fall away to the way side ; trampled over or dumped over more pressing and overwhelming stimuli.

Time was always against him. Another person could die. Another person was always dying. Circumstances, plenty, usually out of his control. The continuous overflow of coffee, however, was not.

Until it was, and he picks up the empty mug with visible ( and audible confusion ). Only the bottom of the container staring up at him with utter blankness. Empty.

And a piece of paper.

Sticking with slight ring marks in between the text.

He only remembers to check the time then. Confirm the dawn with the peaking of the light through the small spaces between curtains as he trudged his way through the manor and to their bedroom. Sliding silently under the covers and wrapping his arms around him.
