Venti Birthday Headcanons!

A/N: GUESS WHOS BUIRTHDAY IT IS? ITS THE GOODEST BOY EVER'S (besides chongyun)..IT'S VENTIIIII MY BAABY ITS HIS BIRTHDAY HES 3001 THEY GROW U SO FAST...

Edit: This is based on some TikTok I saw abt Venti just picking a random day to be his birthday so he could get free drinks from Diluc and then having to stick with that day.

Half the time, he forgets about his "birthday"

The concept didn't even exist when he came into existence, so its not that important to him.

But it is important when it's other people's! He knows how important it is to humans.

He's super happy when you remember the date he told you was to be his 'birthday'.

And he's also super happy to have someone to spend his birthday with other than the men who happen to be at the bar on his special day!

Really, he's been super lonely all these, years.

He's not one to cry, but he does get super sappy when he talks about it.

For once, he doesn't drink until he drops.

Instead, you bring him a cake!

It's an apple cake; a family recipe.

You take him to Windrise to eat it by his statue and he's pretty sure he just fell in love all over again.

He talks to you about how he usually spends his days while you're busy with work.

This usually just consists of him playing his lyre underneath the statue of the glorious statue of Lord Barbatos for some mora.

You roll your eyes, and you wonder why he doesn't just get a job or something.

But he'd rather listen to you talk about things, instead of reminding himself of how lonely he is with his stories.

He looks at you in awe as you talk about anything and everything, which you think is so adorable.

He's really cute, and you can't help but want to squish his face in your hands.

But it's his birthday, so you spare him the embarrassment (despite being virtually isolated from most Monstadt citizens).

You ask him how old he is.

He has no idea! It's not like he's keeping track of this stuff.

You laugh, telling him you're glad you got to be the first to celebrate with him wholeheartedly.

He sort of understands why humans find them so important now.

"Nobody's ever made me a cake before. You really my warrior~" His loving nickname for you rolls off his tongue with a purr. Every time he takes a bite he sort of squeals to express his joy whilst kicking his legs. "Especially in the kitchen..."

You were so glad he liked it, not very confident in your cooking skills, especially when it came to cooking for other people, so hearing that from the person you loved the most was wonderful.

You grabbed his hand which gripped a fork and leaned forward to press a kiss to his lips.

“Happy birthday,”

Gender neutral reader as always!

Likes cute and romantic pet names like 'sweetheart' or 'dove' and calls you them often. They feel like having a special name for each other it strengthens the bond of your relationship a bit. They don't mind if you don't give them a pet name, but please don't stop them from holding you close and calling you their sunshine!

Boys: Bennett, Gorou, Thoma, Zhongli, Kazuha, Ayato

Girls: Barbara, Ganyu, Ayaka, Lisa, Eula, Xaingling, Collei

Probably calls you either more mainstream or something completely outrageous and long to piss you off. One time they started at 'babe' and ended at my little cabbage'. Probably only calls you by pet names, which means you know something is off instantly when they call you by your actual name.

You Cook Their Favorite Food - Genshin Impact

A/N: My favorite food is Goulash! Without the tomatoes though… ew. They make it sour. Kiddies were not included this time because these can be read as either romantic or platonic! Ur choice!

Gender-neutral reader as always - Maybe a little OOC, but these are just my personal opinions of the characters.

Thank you and may make a note to return the favor later. Whether by cooking (if they can), or doing another nice thing for you. (bring your flowers, buy you something, etc.) They enjoy the food a lot. It's not often that they are cooked for, much less cooked his favorite food. They appreciate it dearly, even though they don't express it outwardly. But don't even think about trying to sneak a bite. They're going to enjoy it all because you made it for them! Okay... maybe just one.

If you don't, it's okay. They want to know what kind of things you like, too. Cue a bonding session over your favorite things. They love you a lot. Once you tell them, they will probably try to make it for you. Whether it succeeds or not, you will be receiving... something on a plate.

They want to take care of you even when you don't need taking care of, but they try to be discreet about it.

A/N: This song reminds me of Thoma…love that boy so much. It also makes me very sad bc THIMA WHY ARENT YOU REAL GODDAMNIT. Also I’m literally writing these on my way to work help.

Edit: I highly doubt Ayaka would forget his birthday but for the sake of the fanfic…she is a ditzy little cutie. Also ganyu bday hcs next (maybe zhongli) bc I missed them

Also my excuse for not having this up yesterday is that I fell asleep literally as I was trying to cue it then I forgot about it I swear

You wake up and he’s already gone.

What is he doing?

Chores. Helping around the Tenryou commission.

Do any of them even know it’s his birthday?

You ask Ayaka if today he might have the day off but was too stubborn to actually take the break, she says no.

You’re confused.

You find him eating under a tree around lunch time.

“Thoma…” You say, coming up from behind him.

“Oh, Y/N! I didn’t hear you coming, what is it?” He asks in his sweet fucking voice holy shit do you deserve this man…

“Well, I was wondering if you knew what day it was?” You asked.

You sit down next to him in the grass.

“Um.. Tuesday…” He sounds a little (a lot) unsure.

“Idiot. It’s your birthday.”

He looks a little surprised. He pats himself down like he’s looking for something and then looks around.

“Really? I guess I’m a little out of sorts today… I hope I didn’t forget anything else important.”

Why is he thinking about work again.

You grab his arm as he tries to get up.

“Thoma, no more working.”

“I’m sorry darling, but I already promised a lot of people if help them today.”

He lifts his hand in apology.

“There’s plenty of other people who could help in the Tenryou Commission. You don’t have to do everything.”

You literally had to drag him back to the Kamisato estate after notifying the Tenryou commission he’d be taking the rest of the day off.

“I can’t believe you were working so much you forgot about your own birthday.” You huffed, pulling him inside. He looks rather troubled

“Please don’t feel bad. You can work all you want tomorrow.” You say, patting his lower back so he’d get inside quicker. “Today is your birthday, everybody will understand you taking some time off.”

“I guess you’re right, I just hope nobody’s let down after I promised I’d help.” He whined.

“Like I said, you can help them tomorrow.” You say before giving him a quick kiss. “I got you a present.”

He seems to light up.

“What is it?”

You tell him to to wait a minute while you go and get it. You didn’t wrap it since he’d open it anyway and that would just be more mess that he would take upon himself to clean up, so you hid it behind your back instead.

It was a little windwheel aster pendant strung into a chain. Carefully made by you, and the product of many nights of struggle. It wasn’t perfect, but you’d rather give him something handmade than an expensive gift made by someone else.

He definitely cried a little bit as he put it on.

“Are you planning on making our wedding rings by hand to?” He says, pulling you down to hug you.

“Maybe.” You say and kiss him again.

Spending Kaeya's Birthday With Him!

A/N: Since today is Kaeya's birthday (edit: it is 12:02... i was occupied with asks... that is my excuse...... happy kaeya day) , here are some headcannons/a lil drabble about spending his birthday with him! I'm not too fond of Kaeya's character in general, but everyone deserves love! Especially on their birthday.

You wake him up by showering him with kisses!! he deserves them

It's his day, so you're going to try to spoil him, despite there being a very good chance he will turn this on you

Breakfast in bed? Done. You got up extra early.

Fisherman's toast! A monstadt favorite.

He tries to feed it to you, but you refuse!

You made it just for him, and you want him to enjoy it all.

That doesn't happen. You share it. Turns out he was not lying when he said it tasted amazing.

Ah.. his gifts. A bouquet of flowers! (his birthday post said it was rare for him to get those...how...) They were lilys! His favorite.

He puts them in a vase that looks strangely like the one in Diluc's winery and looks at them for quite a minute.

He appreciates it a lot!

You take him out! Maybe just a stroll. He's a little bit of a hypocrite when it comes to him calling other slackers.

He likes leisure on his days off.

And Jean so graciously gave him this day off! Wonder why...

A stop at the good hunter! You two say hello to the people you know. and maybe walk a little outside Monstadt just to be somewhere more peaceful for a bit.

Once the dark hours come, you go to the tavern! A wonderful place that both of you enjoy lounging at.

Diluc is working that night especially. Probably just a coincidence, right...

He pretends to want nothing to do with Kaeya, but he doesn't even ask him to pay his tab after you leave.

So, he's tipsy. You don't mind. If anything he's just more affectionate. Gushing about how sweet you are for doing this as you all but drag him home.

You've prepared something extra special for him. A cake. He nearly cries when he sees it. Literally.

He hasn't spent a birthday with someone so close to him in a long time, much less shared a cake with him.

You giggle and flirt into the night. You'll both regret eating an entire cake in one sitting tomorrow, but that's the future you's problem.

"Darling.." He drawls as he looks to you over the light of the candles on his cake. "I'm supposed to make a wish, aren't I?"

He smiles warmly at you and you can't help but return his dopey smile.

"I've got everything I could wish for, I think..." He says in a sweet tone. In a flash of blue the candles are out and the only light on you two is from the moon.

"You think..?" You ask, thinking you know where this is going.

"Well, there is one more thing." He says as he leans down to kiss you.
