Was he going to get in trouble with her parents for teaching her how to come up with better lies? Most likely, but did he really care? Not particularly. Honestly, it's her parents fault for not teaching her better lying skills. Turning from her for a moment, he pulled a second cup from the cupboard. Might as well go in for a pound, he thought as he gave his niece a small smile as he poured her a cup as well. ❝ Never admit you don’t have an excuse, always start with something small like well, it’s not the best reason but so you have a stepping off point. Saying you don't have a reason is tantamount to admitting you did wrong. ❞
