Post-graduation hcs part 1

I have been thinking about what might await the boys once they graduate, realistically speaking. I'm tempted to do another hc series similar but them as parents or with a s/o or something 🙈. Sorry, some are shorter than others. Hope you like them:

🌹 Riddle

He moved in an apartment with Trey and Chenya temporarily until he has enough savings to live on his own, alternatively moves in with his s/o, if he has one, ideally after graduation. He had been preparing for an independent life away from home post-overblot without telling his parents and when the moment arrives there's probably a big fight between them, especially when Mrs Rosehearts discover he won't study to become a magical doctor like she planned.

In his birthday vignette he shows interest in studying law, so I think he would be a judge. To me it's canon because it's a reference of how the Queen of Hearts was the judge in Wonderland trials.

Riddle disappointed his parents —more like infuriated Mrs Rosehearts— and had multiple arguments with his mom about what his future but he no longer cares what she says. He might like to continue being in contact if they come to terms he's free to do whatever he wants with his life; most likely only his father accepts this. #DisneyletRiddlehaveatleastoneredeemedparentchallenge

Riddle will need time to heal and accept this rupture is the best for him, but he'll still look at the past and mourn for the childhood and family he never had. He likes his job but sometimes he feels beyond exhausted after certain cases. Praying he gets the growth spurt or self confidence on his height he deserves 🙏

♠ Deuce

Deuce had one goal already in mind since his early freshman days, being a police officer, and by his determination you can bet he worked on it until the dream became a reality. Needless to say mama spade is super proud of her boy.

Oh the delinquent angsty teenager becoming a police. The irony. The amount of comments and stories his mom will share with his friends when they come to their hometown. They're not letting it live down.

Trey mentioned in chapter 5 that the best mages from fire and policemen are recruited by an international organization called Arcane Response Unit, which if I remember correctly it's the one that responds in OB cases when they aren't extremely dangerous. I find it sweet imagining Riddle and him keep seeing each other due their jobs.

❤ Ace

I'm sorry I have no idea which career he could be interested in (╥﹏╥) Maybe when we know his unique magic and more about him I'll write something else. But you know that joke shop the Weasley twins had where they sold magic artifacts and miscellaneous stuff?? Yeah, that could suit him. I believe he could have more ambition than just owning a shop though...idk

After graduation I can see Ace, Deuce, Grim and MC choosing to share an apartment while studying their major studies, if MC is still in TWST of course. Main trouble gang now as roommates, imagine the chaos.

♣ Trey

If he's roommates with Chenya and Riddle, they split chores: he's in charge of the cooking most of the time. He's also the one who keeps most contact with Heartslabyul classmates due his popularity as the "dad friend", but his closest relationships aside from Riddle are with Cater and Adeuce. Often reminds them via message to rest and gets upset if he finds out they have been slacking on a healthy lifestyle after moving away from home.

Either chooses to run his family bakery after his parents retire or becomes a chef in some restaurant. I imagine Azul would be interested in keeping Trey close or tries to hire him for his restaurant business.

♦ Cater

Your Cay-Cay keeps being fire on Magicam! ✧⁺ /hj

Just like Ace I believe Cater tried to make the most out of his school life, so planning from the start what he exactly was going to do wasn't in his top priorities. He knew he still wanted to have time for social media, and despite some minor existential crisis about his future he was realistically listing his abilities and cons in his search for okay-ish jobs.

Eventually he set up for working on social media management or marketing: him being able to read the room + being updated with the latest trends and internet language + meme culture + his obsession liking of Magicam + knowledge to make great pics to post = Best job for him!

In spite of the time being a publicist for brands and influencers take he still updates his Magicam account. Not exactly a worldwide star but I can see him having around +500K overtime and even hitting the million there or in his twst youtube channel. Because of his job and hobby he still cross path with Vil sometimes.

About his family... Just like Riddle I see him looking forward to move in #ASAP, but Cater kept in contact with his family because their relationship still could still be fixed. Therapy may be needed to further explore and heal his family issues and roots of his depression but eventually he's better, if anything still a bit salty with his sisters (don't get me wrong everyone here should go but Cater is in the list or easier to convince) Extra good sis points if they are the ones who talk with Cay-Cay about going to therapy and agree to go with him if asked <3

🦁 Leona

For a moment I wrongly thought "This man is filthy rich, I 100% can see him not doing anything with all the money he has if he feels like it." before the realisation that contradicts his character smacked me in the face. Seeing how he denied the idea of losing without a fight in the tournament I think he'll try to exit his title as being only the second born and make a name for himself.

Given he's a respected leader in his dorm and how he can put in work his leadership skills when the moment requires it Leona would want to be involved in his kingdom management.

Leona has a tattoo that resembles Scar's, and I think that was a symbol of the royal guard, so maybe he'd become royal guard captain. Something like an ambassador or related to military or diplomatic relationships, representing the royal family and travelling for politic reasons.

Knowing Leona he'd be keep ignoring his depression until others talk him out of that procrastinating attitude and force convince him to search help, most likely his s/o or Farena's wife scolding, since it seems he'd do what they tell him even if it's grudgingly. Cheka probably goes to RSA and by then any ill feelings towards his nephew are gone, although he'll always act like he annoys him.

🍩 Ruggie

In Ruggie SSR dorm card is shown Ruggie is fluent at Animal Linguistics. With his participation at the Animal Linguistics Speech Contest I'm positive he could find a job about it, perhaps work alongside Leona as the royal family interpreter.

Regardless of which career he chooses he'll make some good cash and after receiving paychecks he'll spoil his grandma and give small treats to his neighbours by buying a lot of food and making occasional meals for everybody when he visits.

🐺 Jack

Unless he marries somebody whose homeland is different I picture him living in his hometown tending to his cactus. He has a nice house, big enough to raise some kids, and space enough to grew his plants. Man has simple needs and he is content with it.

Definitely the most likely who ends up having a spouse out of all the students, closely followed by Epel and Rook imo.

At first I was blank about his career but thanks to a user on Reddit I agree with them that Jack could be a personal coach or some sort of athletic instructor, for instance ski/snowboard teacher since he likes it. Or a professional athlete.

🐙 Azul

Azul invests in the market and hit big numbers earlier than anybody else. Technically he doesn't need to work anymore or worry about making an income but he still runs a restaurant, expanding his empire as the owner of high quality restaurants both in land and sea. Chains like Applebee's are shit under his foot in comparison lol

Still trying to keep in contact with his dear classmates who he spent so many wonderful days Definitely not because he could use having the Asim new family leader or the royal captain or a honourable judge like Riddle or the STYX leader nono-

🐬 Jade & Floyd 🦈

The ones who mop the floor with Azul's competition

They are still by Azul's side, but they continue in their family business behind the scenes. Probably meet Riddle in the courtyard. Not because they are careless to leave traces behind mind you, Floyd just felt like squeezing some annoying dude and the law is being unfunny and charging him for aggression. Jade is never caught on the things his twin is accused of, but Riddle has the feeling he's never too far from the fights.

Each time the case is closed or paid with community services. Azul pays the penalty fees and the octotrio always act oh so casually about it while getting in Riddle's nerves. Poor golfishie thought he'd see the last of them after ending NRC and now he's near a mental breakdown when he reads "Leech" in his next trial file. Said trials must be a sight to behold, which is why Jade goes whenever he's not busy, amused.

👑 Vil

The octatrio preferably lives on land for different reasons: Floyd has an expensive and varied shoe collection he can't wear underwater, Jade happily built a greenhouse for his terrariums, and Azul has houses both in land and sea to supervise his restaurants and going on vacation when he feels like it.

Despite their shared shady business is likely the twins do secondary jobs to entertain themselves: Floyd keeps starting projects and dropping them once he gets bored, from modelling to participate in monster truck events. Jade studied economics and is in charge of the financial administrations of the business, but is member of a mountain lovers forum and its most active and enthusiastic user.

Vil had already planned his career since a child. However, he continued to expand his horizons: actor, super model, movie director, guionist, activist for lgbt rights and other causes, maybe helping Crewel to make a new fashion collection for upcoming seasons...you know, he takes Barbie's motto seriously. Probably loves being a director because he can envision and lead a movie while being on screen. He's Barbie because he can be everything he decides to be except being more popular than Neige

He keeps in contact with several classmates, including Rook, Epel, occasionally Cater etc. He has an online shop that sells products made by himself, except collabs he makes with other brands like Azul's moisturiser. Don't worry Floyd is okay, they found other merman to use :)

🏹 Rook

Leona and company keep feeling observed, he has many people terrified. If hunter isn't his job then it must be related to beauty, but because he sees beauty in everything I'm not sure. Perhaps he has the same job as whatever his family worked to get all those villas but maybe they are just rich and inherited that CMON DISNEY TELL ME IF HIS FAM HAS A SHADY BUSINESS ALREADY! ARE THEY COPS?? WTF I NEED INFO

If he doesn't follow his family footsteps he could enjoy working as a photographer, capturing the inner beauty of the world both as a naturalist photographer and a fashion one. Hunting and stalking are his hobbies.

One of those who has higher chancer to get married at some point I think, but it's a bit tricky. He sure loves many things but something about it tells me in the present time he thinks he still has so many beautiful things and people to meet that he cannot imagine committing to somebody for the rest of his life yet?? Unless that person was fine he would marvel and compliment and stalk anyone he's around...

Open to having a longtime and stable relationship but it would make more sense if he waits until later in his life to get married in my opinion, realistically speaking at least. But be could also jump straight to marriage if his love for his s/o is that big, if his s/o is Neige, Vil or someone he adores as much as them.

🍎 Epel

Another student who had his future somewhat well thought out since he was a freshman.

Not long after graduation he studies a major degree and works in his family farm, trying to improve the Harveston farmers laboral conditions by implementing innovative methods to grow apples more resistant to cold temperatures...First he has to convince the skeptic elderly that technology and science can mesh together with tradition just fine. (This idea is from what he says in the Harveston event)

As weird as it sounds I can see Epel gaining more muscle after all those years working out. I'm divided between him growing taller or being ripped but continue being the shortest of the first year gang lol

A/N: Hough. Now that’s a song I haven’t thought of in a long time! It was nice revisiting an old banger!! Personally, I’ve always preferred SquigglyDigg’s cover because of the sheer power behind their vocals. Mini ramble aside, this was fun to write! King Dice:

Your boyfriend was, at his core, a showman. He’s always sharply dressed in his finest attire and equipped with a charming grin, nary a wrinkle or stray mustache hair to be found. People are naturally drawn to him. When he talks, people listen and swoon. You, on the other hand, are a bit of a wallflower. Social interactions tend to make you a little antsy. You feel more at home in the corner of the room, silently watching the crowd with equal parts curiosity and longing.

He finds your shyness to be a breath of fresh air compared to the constant stream of sleaze he deals with. It’s tiring having to constantly walk on eggshells around staff and patrons alike. Getting home to you feels like his own little slice of heaven in Inkwell Hell.

Music is one of the loves King Dice shares with you. Be it the orchestral Big Band, the Blues that he grew up with, or even the occasional Bluegrass record, the die wants to experience it all with you.

It’s not uncommon to hear your boyfriend hum or quietly sing along to the radio in his office. If he’s feeling particularly joyful, the die would pull you into an impromptu dance. A gleaming smile stretches out on the smooth pane of his face as he twirls you around, your laughter flooding his being with honey-sweet warmth.

And though he loves you dearly, Dice also takes great joy in embarrassing you. Whenever a slower, romantic song comes on (i.e If I Didn’t Care by the Ink Spots), you best believe that man will serenade you as he pulls you close. There’s nothing more he loves than the sight of your lips pulled taut as you try to fight back a flustered smile, eyes trained to your hands as your cheeks steadily grow warmer.

What King Dice didn’t account for, however, was that you also had a knack for music.

He had heard it faintly when the elevator doors opened. The muffled vocals of Cab Calloway could be heard through his office door. Along with singing. Your singing. Immediately, his interest skyrockets.

It took everything in his power not to burst into his office as the die eased the door open. He peeked his head inside, and his heart soars at the sight playing out before him.

There you were: donning his suit jacket and bouncing along to the rhythm. Your voice, usually unsure and shaky, rang out clear as day.

So, with utmost care, King Dice leaned against the doorframe. Arms folded and a small smile on his face as you continue to sing on, completely carefree. It was rare to see you like this, and by god was it adorable.

You noticed his presence when you hear familiar humming. You freeze, an unholy squeak escaping your lips. Dice, to his credit, tries to hold back any laughter as you word vomit a stream of “ohmygods” and “Howlonghaveyoubeenstandingthere?!?”

It may take you a while to live down the incident. Well, a long, long while. Dice brings it up often, much to your chagrin. He teases, but he doesn’t mean anything by it! The die truly is amazed that you hid this talent from him for so long– your voice is gorgeous!

While he won’t outright force you to sing, King Dice would love it if you did it more. It’s not often he meets a fellow singer. The fact that you’re his partner only sweetens the pot. He can only imagine the sweet music the two of you can make together.

The Devil:

The two of you make for an odd pair.

The Devil cuts an intimidating figure. Wild, wiry black fur, blood red eyes that peer into your soul, teeth that could easily tear you open– the demon’s terrifying. Most folks wouldn’t dare cross his path…. And then they see you. Tiny, soft-spoken, and probably the least confrontational soul on Inkwell.

In the eyes of onlookers, you might as well be the canary nestled within the lion’s paw. However, harming you was the last thing on the demon’s list.

He actually likes that you’re shy and keep to yourself, surprisingly! The Devil isn’t one for crowds and socialization, good as he may be at it; he’s grown past such pleasantries. If anything, he uses it as an excuse to squirrel you away to himself in his office, the sly bastard.

Despite your private nature, the Devil already knew about your little talent. He had heard the way you quietly sing or hum to yourself in the halls near his office. You had thought you were in the clear. Oblivious to your lover, who sat at his desk. Frozen, pointed ears perked up and straining to hear the sweet sounds flowing from your lips.

The demon had no intention of revealing his discovery to you. At least, not at first. Your singing could indirectly ease the burden of a grueling workday. Why risk flustering his adorable songbird into silence?

However, the secret slips out in due time. It had been a long, grueling day for the demon. Shoulders visibly sagged and eyes bloodshot, the Devil had flopped onto you the moment he found you. He tucked his nose into the crook of your neck and snaked his arms around your stomach. A quiet purr rumbled in his chest as you idly rubbed his temple, and he gently butted his head against your hand. A comfortable silence covered the two of you like a warm, weighted blanket. And then, the Devil broke it with a low “Sing for me.”

The demon watched you splutter and reddened in his grasp, his eyes glinted with a mischievous glow. He couldn’t help but smirk into your neck.

The moment you relent and indulge him is the day you become his personal songbird. Your demonic lover treasures you, truly. However, he still acts like a brat around you and will (teasingly!) pester you to sing to him whenever he asks. Each time you indulge him, you’re rewarded with a smug purr.

It rarely ever happens, but, occasionally, the Devil may ask you to sing him a lullaby. Centuries of a turbulent, violence-filled immortal life has rendered him unable to sleep regularly. Most times, the demon brushes off his insomnia. He usually deals with it by leafing through paperwork until he exhausts himself. When the allure of sleep grows too great, however, the Devil will immediately bee-line to you.

Once he hears your honey-sweet voice and your small fingertips rub circles into his temple, he’s out like a light. It’s one of the rare times the demon has a peaceful night’s rest.

thinking about the fact that wren actually vibes with introverts a lot? i think they enjoy the fact that they're quiet and wren's allowed to talk as much as they want AVJBID

but also they enjoy finding out things about people, and they usually can't read introverts as well as their extraverted friends, so there's a small air of Mystery(TM) that keeps them entertained for a while. if that friend is interesting in general, they'll definitely stick around longer tbh!

✨Pairing: Kuina x Chishiya ✨

who is the better dancer? Kuina. Due to her time spent at The Beach, she picked up a few moves along the way whenever partying. Chishiya, however.. let’s just say that he may be skilled in most things, but dancing isn’t one of them. Definitely needs a few lessons.

who likes the outdoors more and who likes the indoors more? Kuina likes the outdoors more since she can socialise better in an open space, plus girl likes to catch the sun while she can. However, Chishiya likes the indoors where he can completely avoid everyone and get some peace. If he’s not in work then he hides out in his home.

who’s a cat person and who’s a dog person? Chishiya is a cat because he can relate to them more: anti-social, standoffish, cold and likes to take naps. Kuina is more of a dog person: Loyal, bubbly, sociable and friendly. They definitely go back and forth about what pet they want to adopt into their small family, but ultimately end up getting both a cat and a dog to settle the argument.

who’s more social? Definitely Kuina. A social butterfly who loves to meet new people and fits in easily with a new crowd. Chishiya isn’t social at all and would much rather avoid all human interaction altogether.

who makes the bed every morning? Chishiya— and this is usually while Kuina is still in it. He knows that it’ll probably be late afternoon when she rises because she’s a night owl and stays up most of the night straight through to early morning. He definitely hits her with a few pillows along the way — not on purpose (very on purpose) — and rips the sheet from her until she stirs and starts whining about how cold she is. It never fails to put a smirk on his face.

who likes to keep the house cold and who likes to keep the house warm? Chishiya likes to keep the house cold and Kuina likes to keep the house warm. There’s always a debate. Chishiya likes to bring up how he can wear his hoodies when it’s cold and that they can always warm up but not cool down if they turn the heating on. Kuina likes to state that she’s too pretty to freeze to death. That’s her argument.

who takes longer getting ready? Kuina. Takes her over an hour since she’s a perfectionist when it comes to her looks. Shower, makeup, clothes, shoes, accessories, bags.. can never choose which ones go with which and that often results in numerous outfits changes before she decides on ✨the one.✨ Of course that often makes them late for dates, but Chishiya doesn’t mind.. not when she looks stunning in her attire.

who likes scary movies and who likes funny ones? Chishiya likes horror movies and constantly likes to scare Kuina when watching them together, resulting in her screaming and yelling at him— accidentally smacking him too out of reflex. Meanwhile Kuina loves cheesy and romantic comedies and forced Chishiya to endure them with her.

who screams when they see a bug and who ends up killing it? Kuina screams and Chishiya kills it which often results in her scolding him for being cruel. “I didn’t tell you to kill it, I wanted you to take it outside!” To which Chishiya shrugs and simply replies in a sarcastic manner. “You’re welcome.” 💀

who is more technology challenged? Chishiya. He doesn’t like social media and doesn’t spend a lot of time on his phone or on a computer. He’s old fashioned in that way, much preferring to spend time offline which may lead to him struggling more than most whenever he needs to use technology.

who would be more likely to burn something in the oven? Kuina. She burns anything and everything— a literal fire hazard. If water could burn that she would even burn that. Chishiya constantly has to stand by with a fire extinguisher whenever she gets the genius idea that she wants to try out a new recipe that she saw on the TV. Obviously it always ends in disaster and a lot of foam everywhere—

who talks in their sleep? Both, especially after Borderland. With the constant nightmares, both struggle to refrain from fidgeting or mumbling in their sleep when forced to live their worst moments from Borderland over and over on a loop in their heads. Luckily they have each other for comfort when it all gets too much.

who leaves the cap off the toothpaste? Chishiya, on purpose. He knows it annoys Kuina because it dries up the toothpaste quicker, and he even goes as far as to hide it from Kuina just to irritate her. It’s safe to say that goading her is one of his favourite things to do in the world.

who likes getting dressed up more? Kuina. Chishiya much prefers to stay in his hoodies and sweatpants. He’s more of a comfort over fashion sort of guy and doesn’t see the point of dressing up just to fit in with social etiquettes. If he really has to though, he’ll get dressed up.. especially when Kuina loves to tug him by the tie~ ✨

who’s better at tying ties? Chishiya. Although he does like it when Kuina attempts to do it for him and fails. It’s the thought that counts though, right? Plus her hands on him is an added bonus.

who recorded the answering machine message on the house phone? Kuina. She was going for a sweet and cheesy message like from a romance movie, however.. Chishiya talks over her in the background, definitely mocking her and mimicking her tone in an attempt to put her off, and you bet the ending is her yelling at him to shut up. It’s something they often laugh about together, and they keep that as their answering machine message even though it’s a chaotic mess.

who’s better at planning romantic things? Kuina. Chishiya doesn’t have a romantic bone in his body, but sometimes he tries for her.. even though he isn’t good at it. But Kuina is great at it and definitely gets him in the mood for some romance whenever she puts the effort in to reserve a table at a fancy restaurant, finds the best place to stargaze among other things.

who takes up more space in the closet? Kuina. That woman has outfits for days and poor Chishiya can barely fit his clothes in the closet with how much space she takes up— not that he has much anyway. He’s perfectly fine with putting his own stuff in to the drawers instead.

who has more of a sweet tooth? Kuina. Chishiya doesn’t like sugary snacks — with the exception of biscuits of course — because they’re bad for the teeth. Kuina, however? She’s on a constant sugar rush with her favourite candies which is why she’s almost always on the go. Probably the main reason why she struggles to get to sleep early too.

who drinks more often? Kuina. Chishiya isn’t much of a drinker himself, and doesn’t drink nearly as much as Kuina when they visit bars. Kuina can outdrink anybody.. and then throw it all back up later. Guess who’s holding her hair while she’s doing so? That’s right, a very unimpressed Chishiya.

who is most likely to laugh during a serious situation? Both because they’re both menaces. Whenever faced with a serious situation, the two of them usually side eye each other and smirk before quietly snickering to each other about it. It’s why most people dread inviting them to any sort of social event because they’re unpredictable.

who is the better dancer?

"Well, I don't want to sound too arrogant but I would have to say myself," she replied with an amused smile. Wanda had been dancing since she was a young girl after all, taught by her mother to begin with before moving on to learn further dances as she grew older. Dancing was simply fun and freeing. She had begun with folk dancing, but she could add ballroom dancing, modern, and a few further dances in as well. "I enjoy dancing, but honestly I don't think dancing is about being perfect, is it? I would rather dance with Stephen in any kind of dance and however well he dances."

"I suppose it would be myself enjoying the outdoors more... I-- Actually, it's hard to say. I've spent so much time outside, I travelled so often as a child. I enjoy being out and about, in the city or countryside," she said, musing carefully. It was tough. It wasn't like they avoided one or the other. But she definitely found herself outside more than Stephen. Did that count?

who’s a cat person and who’s a dog person?

"I like both cats and dogs, sorry, I'm on the fence. Stephen is more of a dog person than me. I don't know if I would say he likes them more than me, or tolerates them more, but dogs seem to enjoy him." Her words were said with a little amusement. And a warm smile. "I enjoy both of them, I love animals. But I can't say they always love me." Perhaps animals were better attuned to chaos? "Bats is a lovely dog, and his loyalty to Stephen is sweet. Stephen is the dog person."

"Lately I would say Stephen, but if we're being totally honest it goes back and forth. It can completely depend on what we're researching and what's happening in our lives," she replied, giving a little shrug. "I enjoy spending time with people, but sometimes it can be draining." It depended where she was mentally, and if she was aware she was going to be social. Some events were easier for her than others, and she enjoyed time alone. So did Stephen. They could be happy in their own company, but being social wasn't a hardship.

who makes the bed every morning?

"Stephen," she said, with a slight smile - and maybe a sheepish look. "I like things clean and tidy, and honestly cleaning can help me clear my head. But I don't always do things straight away. A little mess doesn't annoy me and won't ruin my day. Stephen likes things organised as it should be. I understand that. And I'll try my best to keep things tidy. But he makes the bed most often." Besides, their sleeping schedules could be all over the place. Sometimes she was even nocturnal.

"What an argument this can be," she joked, considering the question. Tough one. "I'm not picky and don't require a house to be at a certain temperature. But I would be the one requesting it warmer, if anything." She had survived harsh winters on the road as a child, trying to keep warm by a meagre fire. So the cold was something she knew well, it didn't bother her. But she would prefer to be warm. Stephen didn't seem to mind much either.

"Stephen. He likes to look perfect. And he likes to make a grand entrance." She rolled her eyes good naturedly, soft smile on her face. Wanda didn't mind at all - why shouldn't he look good? Well, he always did. "If we're going out to a major event, then I'm not saying I take no time to get ready. But usually I just use magic." A flick of her wrists and she could change her outfit. If it was an actual event she would still change her outfit this way, but she enjoyed sorting her hair by hand. Stephen just liked being late, she sometimes thought.

"Stephen says he likes neither, but I catch him watching. And then pointing out continuity errors. Or flinching," she pointed out, giving a grin. "I enjoy both. I like scary movies, if done well. I have enough horror in my life but somehow it makes me feel better when it's fake horror. I also like to laugh, but I can't take cringy films." She shook her head, auburn hair tumbling over her shoulders. "I like a nice movie night."

"Neither of us," she said confidently, then paused. "Well..." Wanda said slowly, thinking it over. "I wouldn't scream, but I can say that I have been startled when a bug just suddenly appears. Stephen is the knight coming to my rescue." The last part was a joke. Really.

"I'm going to say Stephen," she said, partly seriously but with a joking edge. He wasn't behind the times, not by a long shot. He still had his logical and technical mind from his days as a surgeon. He knew about technology, it's just their line of work now was more mystical than technical. "Neither of us are really behind the times. My shop is up to date and current, after all."

who would be more likely to burn something in the oven?

"Myself. Unfortunately. I don't know if Stephen is always much of a cook, but he wouldn't let something burn unless something else was going on." Though thinking about it, such a thing could happen to either of them. "I can cook but I'm no chef. Sometimes I experiment and it goes wrong. I think I'm perhaps a better baker than a chef, actually... Well, I'm working on it to be better."

who talks in their sleep?

"Myself," she said, perhaps sheepishly. It wasn't as though she could help it. "I... Well, when I have nightmares, I'm aware I speak." Or scream, or moan. It was a restless night when a nightmare was involved. She was hardly a good person to sleep next to. The nightmares were fewer and farther between these days, which was nice. As for Stephen? "Perhaps Stephen talks, but I'm not sure. I couldn't say for certain."

who leaves the cap off the toothpaste?

"Tut, tut," she shook her head, "As if either of us would commit such a crime!" Actually, she probably had done that before, but never on purpose or out of laziness just simply out of distraction. The action was a habit and so likely always was done.

"Stephen and his grand entrances! Have you seen his best friend, his cloak? The gold he wears, the deep reds and blues?" She gave a bright laugh, and a warm smile. "He always looks impeccable. But you know, I love getting dressed up too - when it's for a reason. And I can't really talk considering some of my outfits. But I'm going to let Stephen take this one for the team! He looks amazing, and so by his side I end up looking amazing, too."

who’s better at tying ties?

"Me," she said, smile warm but softer. Stephen was good at tying them with magic, if you wanted to count that. "I enjoy tying his tie for him. At least in that way I help him look dapper." It was hard for him, perhaps. Tying a tie required some fine motor movement, sometimes. But she loved to assist, and there was always magic.

who recorded the answering machine message on the house phone?

"Also me, because it's fun and I missed the period where I could really do that." Even when she was living with Vision, their message was recorded by him. "Does anyone leave messages on house phones or phone house phones anyways? But I made the message, I wanted to." She wanted to call the place theirs.

who’s better at planning romantic things?

"I shall give this one to Stephen," she said with a laugh, "When he has the time and remembers. I enjoy doing things for him and quality time together. He is better with grand gestures and the smaller ones too. When Stephen does something, I'm sure a lot of thought has gone into it. I wish I was better at the romantic gestures with him, but I try to always do things each day."

"Since most of my clothes are stored away magically, it's Stephen. I enjoy clothes and fashion, but I'm not up to date. And I like clothing that allows me to move freely and that is comfortable. My clothes are simple." She thought of what Stephen owned, scrunching up her nose and then shrugging. "It's not really an issue, if I'm honest."

"Perhaps myself. I enjoy something sweet now and then, though I like to think I have self control. If I'm being honest, I would prefer a savoury meal, but there are certain things like ice cream or milkshakes I can rarely turn down." Such things had been treats when she was younger, and things she still would go out for with her brother - and now with Stephen. They were sweet for a few reasons.

who drinks more often?

"I don't drink often. I... I couldn't for a while." It didn't go with her medication. She wasn't always on medication, of course, but it was something she had to remain in control of. And just in general Wanda didn't like to feel 'out of control'. "So by default, Stephen drinks more." But it didn't mean that was a bad thing, did it? She wouldn't begrudge him letting loose now and then.

who is most likely to laugh during a serious situation?

"Myself. I can be serious and keep a straight face, but if I catch his eye then I'll laugh. And I have the bad habit of laughing sarcastically in some situations." If that counted. She didn't like a low, black mood. Serious situations happened and it was necessary to be in control and logical. But even in the darkest of situations there could be some light - and sometimes you had to make your own light.
