Lounged across the couch in his penthouse; jazz music from the record player in his bedroom. Allowing himself to get lost inside his thoughts, drifting through memories and history. However sensing somebody in the elevator, stretched before sitting up. Right as the doors opened. "To what do I owe the sudden drop by."

Constantine wasn’t in the best of shape; not all that surprising given his long history of bad luck. At least he was going to get paid adequately for the messy situation he’d just handled. Taking off his tie- using it on a gash he’d received to his arm. It would have been easier if didn’t encounter one of his jilted ex lovers. Trying to decide if should stop by the motel- change clothes and clean up before going to have some drinks. Or just find some seedy place; use the restroom for an quick clean up and call it good enough. Yet it ended up having to paused in it’s consideration. As noticed somebody in the street light just staring at him. “Oi, bit rude to stare.”

"I didn't ask for any of this." Clary's hands tangled up in the ends of her jacket sleeves. "Surely once I get my mom back I can just go back to what I was doing." Art school, resume the plans she had ruined by her nightmare of an birthday.

Lucifer was in an sour mood; the sort that no mortal distractions offered reprieve from. So deciding to contain himself inside his club, have it closed for the evening. Where the rest of the world was safe from him. Him from it. So when heard the sound of knocking on the club doors. He scowled before slamming the facade up. Opening it only slightly to see who it was. "Yes?"

It was rather late, rather early hours of the dark AM hours and raining. Weather that didn’t happen the most for the climate he was in. Lux was quiet- cleaning crew and everybody gone as well. No company that he was keeping just yet. Instead he was sat under the covering. On the sidewalk with his back against the doors watching the rain. While smoking; lighter sat down on the pavement beside him. Hadn’t thought to bring out something to drink. Taking in the warm air, warm rain and sight of the stormy weather. Bit peaceful watching cars go by; odd person or so. Times like this where just hard not to admire the beauty of it all. Remind him why he was so determined to never go back to Hell. Not this time. Took an moment to realize he wasn’t alone when somebody stood in front of him. “Yes?”

He’d agreed to meet, talk some mysterious business and job from whoever had gotten in contact with him. Choosing to meet in an bar- for safety purposes though prepared just in case of trouble. Or one of many people who always wanted him maimed or killed. Settling into an dark, quiet and isolated corner where he ordered an drink while waiting. Facing the entrance, keeping an eye out on it plus the rest of the building. Eventually while he was drinking; did enter an figure who seemed like was who he was waiting for. Given it didn’t take them long to start heading over to him either.

"Quick question, entirely get if you look at me like I'm high off my rocker- but do you hear an disembodied voice at the moment?" Knew it very likely was just him being personally haunted. There was nothing else it could be. However in the name of attempting to ignore that fact though came asking them.

It had been an more emotionally draining job- so instead of heading back to his shitty motel room; Constantine settled for the closest place to get an drink instead. Putting out his cigarette butt, into the disposal spot before heading into the joint. Wasn’t at the bar, purchasing a drink long before noticed the attention on him. Most times, attention directed at him was an bad omen. Even including when it was out of attraction; most his exes probably could say it led to life ruining and worst events. Paying for his drink before moving towards where they were sat. “Some reason in particular you’re staring at me?”

Lucifer tossed aside his ruined suit jacket as entered Lux. Studying the blood stains on his dress shirt with a sigh. Thankfully the wounds were already healing at least. Realizing he wasn’t alone, drew an demon dagger just as a precaution. “Whose there, we’re closed at this hour.”

Looking far more put together than he actually was. Parking of his car outside the office building. Really didn't want to shadow his oldest brother but he'd probably survive it. Spinning keys around his finger while firing off an few texts to his partners. Almost walking right into the other person, save for the pausing mid step- given the world went an little upside down from the hangover eating away at his insides. Deep exhale followed with an grin to his facade. "Any reason you're standing in the middle of the path?"

Nathan flicked the metal lighter open, closed and kept brushing his thumb ever lightly against it’s starter. Campus was quiet at this hour of the night. So he didn’t have to play at his part, facade crafted over the years. Not that he really knew what he was without it. But after a moment he lit up; gracefully hopping up on the edge of the fountain. A tiny flash of sudden; jump in the fountain- ignored. Instead he favored to close his eyes; inhale and hold it in. For his first lap around the fountain. No clue what time it was, or how much passed as he continued to do so until he was finished. Hopping off, shoe crushing it underneath and bending to pick it up- put it in a small mints tin he kept on him. Only when he started humming did he realize he wasn’t alone. Yet he couldn’t force himself to slip back into his role. So instead he shrugged his shoulders. “Sooo how long have you been in the vicinity.” Could guess it had been a little while; if they’d been watching especially if they saw the dare it be said, pretty normal behavior- that might be mistaken for him being human. That joke didn’t even land inside his head so he didn’t allow it slip out loud.

“Look who finally showed up. You have an disapproving look on your face.” Demon trapped in an summoning circle; drinking wine from an sippy cup and meanwhile Constantine was sipping at the bottle. It might not be the most usual circumstances but it was rather on par with him at the moment clearly.

Hands were soaked in his own blood; he should be dead and yet like countless times before. And countless times yet to come- he stubbornly refused to die. Labored breath, ever so familiar sounds of blood loss beyond critical condition. Couldn’t even move up off the ground. Or sit up. So how did he expect to thwart death this time? In, out of consciousness. Surprised to not be alone when forced his eyes open. In the blur of things; very much unclear if friend or foe. Yet surely he could get either to help him out of dying.

Lucifer was very much not in the state to be bothered by anybody. One of his worst nights in quite an little bit of time. His penthouse visible messes of erratic distraction seeking. Had vanished into his bedroom- loud music from an record player so didn’t notice the elevator ding. Sound of glass shattering, from his bathroom. Exiting seemingly calm despite the storm inside him. Sipping at the bottle in his hand; double take when noticed the other. “Bit early in the morning to be stopping by.” As he noticed it was actually the afternoon but didn’t feel like correcting himself.

Lucifer kept meaning to head upstairs to the penthouse; yet he only seemed to sink more into the couch he was laying on. Eventually his eyes closed and didn’t open back up. Unbothered by the club goers, staff, or anybody even as Lux eventually closed for cleaning and then even through it. The sleep was empty, at least for the most part. Rest turned troublesome as it always tended to. Jolting awake, too disorientated that he didn’t register the emptiness of the club nor the other person. Behind it, fingers brushed along and quickly grabbed what he was seeking. Opening the bottle; not bothering to even pour it into an glass. One long drink from it later, lowering it with an sigh. That’s when came the awareness of his environment. Feeling the need to speak before any possible judgements or remarks could be made first. “Do you need something or are you going to keep staring?”

It was one of those moments; where he actually did desire specific flavors of hooking up. Not hard to figure out how to obtain it; relatively easy to go about it. Yet he felt rather picky about his desires. So instead of seeking it out actively, was sulking with an drink in hand. Watching the party goers, evening events as if might cheer him up or help him shake it off. Yet it was persistent- nobody that approached with intention had the intentions he was in the mood for. Eventually getting up with an grab of the bottle, he’d been pouring his glasses from off the bar counter and deciding to go brood up in his private penthouse. Immediately and purely by accident stepping right into somebody. “Sorry, are you alright?”
