Just got into the Ace Attorney fandom/franchise 🏛🏵⚖️
I have a question(or 2)(I tend to ramble) for the veteran fans followed by a few theories/ headcanons/ observations I made as I delved into the rabbit hole that is my shiny new addiction/obsession. (*Please note I'm awful at spelling. Spellcheck can only do so much for my jelly brain)
Question:
Is shipping WrightWorth just a natural part of the initiation/transition into the fandom or is that just the fujoshi in me getting a bingo on a card with all my fave shipping tropes?
These 2 lawyers act like rivals, claim to be friends since childhood, but are desperately in love with each other in reality and anyone with even half a brain cell can tell. This ship gives me strong vibes of "I hate how much I love you but won't say a thing because I believe you deserve better and I'm not ready to deal with the truth of how much I value you" Miles Edgeworth x "I will sing your praises if you'd just let me and alter my whole life to be within your presence because I don't want a life where you aren't a part of it" Pheonix Wright.
Theory/headcanon/observation(s):
I totally agree with the fandom that Pheonix would openly love Legally Blonde. However, I think Miles would secretly love it more after Pheonix forces him to watch both the movie and musical, but only deny his love for it because the song "Gay or European" calls him out too much and he feels offended by that. How DARE a song from a musical based on a movie call him out like that in front of his dearest-childhood-friend-totally-not-first-love-now-turned-husband and their adopted children like that!?!
I feel like even the homophobes can see Miles Edgeworth has the vibes of a bitter old gay man, but this prosecutor is so far in the closet that his shipping address is Narnia
How can anyone say Wrightworth isn't legit/canon? They're either a bickering old married couple or a newly divorced couple that's too proud to admit they still love each other and want to get back together. You cannot convince me otherwise. Either way they still always find things to argue about, but end up aggressively making out in a violent and heated passion then(if divorced) just as aggressively deny that they ever locked lips.
FOR CONTEXT: I watched the Game Grumps do a let's play of it and I'm currently playing through the Trilogy game(s(?)*) on the Switch and know bits and pieces through repeating themes in fan-made content. (I also want to watch the anime but haven't decided if I should finish playing before starting.)
* I'm still not fully used to how the story is structured like a book series, but I'm close. I'm at around 90% used to it. Like I understand it in my head but when I need to put it into actual words it makes my brain hurt.

Did you used to be a lawyer? If so, how has been the career switch?
Yes, that's right! It's so funny to see people's reactions when I tell them I never really got to properly study Art but instead, I studied something that couldn't be more absurdly different :)
To be honest, I haven't worked that much in the legal field. I graduated and got my Bar license, but I never had that much time to practice Law. I was too busy drawing when I should have been looking for a job in a firm or studying to be a judge or a prosecutor. It's weird because I really enjoyed studying it while I was in college. Constitutional Law and International Law were my favorites. But the day-to-day work wasn't that appealing, although all that knowledge is now very useful when I sign contracts! I don't regret it, not one bit. I just wish I had also studied Art instead of having to learn it all by instinct or by trial and error.
So now, the only thing that interests me about the Law is watching Better Call Saul (and drawing it too 😆)

Phoenix and Trucy were sitting in Phoenix's apartment. The man tried to put the apartment in order and there was an important reason for that. You were supposed to come to their apartment today. You and Phoenix have known each other for several years. You met thanks to Mia and since then you have maintained good mutual understanding. However, there was something Phoenix didn't tell you about. He was in love with you. Of all the people, only Maya knew about this, who tried to bring you together as many times as possible, but each time the Phoenix stopped these attempts. However, since Trucy appeared in his life, you have become even closer. You tried to help him, especially after he lost his job as a lawyer. Every time you came to him, Phoenix smiled at you, especially watching how you took care of Trucy. The girl became very attached to you and every time you came to them, she hurried to you to hug you and tell you about the events that happened while you were not seeing each other. Today was no exception. As soon as the girl heard a knock on the door, she ran to the door as fast as she could and opened the front door.
"(Y/N)!"
"Hi honey!"
You smiled at her, hugging her. The Phoenix smiled at you.
"Hi"
"Hi Phoenix"
You went a little deeper into the apartment.
"Have you decided to start a general cleaning?"
"Something like that"
Phoenix couldn't admit to you that he decided to do the cleaning, knowing that you would come. He felt a blush appear on his cheeks. You went to the kitchen to sort out the products that you brought them. It was your little tradition. You could have brought groceries and the three of you cooked something. That's what you were going to do today. You shared different parts of the cooking, chatting among yourselves. You were talking about what happened at your work. Have you noticed that Phoenix was embarrassed every time you accidentally touched your fingers when passing something to each other. After you cooked the food and sat down to dinner, Trucy looked at you several times, as if she wanted to say something but did not dare. It didn't escape your gaze.
"Honey, is something wrong?"
"Mommy, can you stay with us tonight? We could watch some movie..."
Phoenix and you both froze. He saw your face turn red from embarrassment, as well as his face. He got used to Trucy calling him daddy, but he didn't expect her to call you mommy. You didn't expect this either, and the girl continued to look at you expectantly.
"Of course, why not..."
Trucy beamed at you, rejoicing at your answer. Although it seemed to Phoenix that the girl asked this question simply out of a desire to spend more time with you, in fact it was not so. She perfectly saw how he was embarrassed next to you and how he admired you when you weren't looking, and she also saw how you smiled at him affectionately and how you looked at him with tenderness when he didn't notice it. You both had the same feelings for each other and the girl hoped that you would finally be able to tell each other about them.

i don't know. but i'm trying.
the ranch had come with everything included in sale. cattle, furniture, tractors . . . everything. along with a perfect water-source. if he wasn't going to earn the yellowstone, he'd see his dream of old become reality, before being sent on this path that was never his wish. jamie had always been attracted to ranching. cowboying. though it was done to be of use. of service, to his father. &. suppose it had gave him invaluable skills. ones he'd be thankful for, for the rest of his life. but he wanted to be the man he'd once wished to become. why he was reluctant to have a horse-less ranch in the first place. though he now realizes that being john dutton isn't all it's cracked up to be.
the crunching of gravel up the drive caused him to turn, &. quirk lips with a bit more height as he meanders towards the car, &. the woman who gets out of it. "hi." he breathes, smile pushing up the lawyer's cheeks while his eyes reach for the backseat of the car. but he doesn't see anything. his hands clasping before him. try as he may not to look disappointed. "it's nice to see you." his lips remain parted for a moment in it's smile, with a soft sigh of nervous laughter lifting into the breeze.

I often wonder & ask myself “Where will i see myself 10 years from now?” 🤔 . Well i may not have the access of my future, but i can be sure of one thing. And that's the courage, faith and motivation on believing in myself who will push me to becoming a better individual in my society, A BETTER PERSON FOR MYSELF ✊🏻. Although, i can say that the experience i have taken in SPUP will definitely help me on my Future Dream too. Because the knowledge they teach here in SPUP is fascinating ✨ , specially when it comes to the strand that you desire the most. I have pursued HUMSS to help me prepare myself to my course on PolSci in college. 🎓⚖️
I think HUMSS is the best choice of strand I'd ever decided to take 📜 . Because i learn the incredible world of Politics, Communication, Social Science, Society, Governance, Technology, Self & Personality, and etc everyday ✨ . Because of this strand, i often enjoy discussions even tho the lessons are becoming harder and harder through time, I still motivate myself to keep pursuing it 🏃🏻♀️ . And through HUMSS strand, i learn to apply what I've been taught in school and think efficiently on some arguments, that is making my whole body participate in activities and my mind to be more mature in thinking 🧠🏋🏻♀️ . And sometimes i can't even imagine that i can do various things after all. 🤎
In the Future, Hopefully i pass the course in PolSci & Bar Exam to become a Successful Lawyer ⚖️ . Because, growing up i already experience the lack of justice in somethings. No one tried to defend me & even blames me for something i didn't even do. I experienced bullying, & belittled by people. Plus the things i have seen in Social Media, like for example Women who thirst of justice for her rights, Children who are treated viciously from parents, & etc. That is one of the reasons i want to pursue Law, because i want to seek justice & help people who are in need specially when it comes to their Rights ✔️. And also to help my mother & bring back all the hardship she had sacrificed for us ; her daughters 🤱🏻. I want to give a better life experience to my mother because she deserves it! 🤎 Yes, it may be hard & also stressing but NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS IMPOSSIBLE IF YOU MAKE A MOVE! 🫵🏻🏃🏻♀️ Yes, there will be alot of time wasted, sleepless nights, priorities over happiness, BUT IT WILL ALL BE WORTH IT! 🏋🏻♀️✨ I just have to focus on the things that will lead me on the right path of my life and chase after, all the opportunities that will passed by me. Be more centered to God 🙏🏻 and always pray to him for everything to work as planned. ✨ And should be surrounded by people who'll motivate & support my success, and who'll be there when I'm in my deepest despair. They’ll never call you to appear for jury duty, they said. They won’t put a lawyer on a jury, they said. Well, three weeks later, I am now finished with my jury service after all twelve of us unanimously finding the defendant not guilty of second degree murder but guilty of voluntary manslaughter.
