For the beheaded cousins, who is most likely to bite their KitKat bar instead of separating them first?
ASK THE QUEENS QUESTIONS!!  //  accepting!
Never before had such offense crossed two faces perfectly in sync, eyebrows furrowing, lips pursing and freckled noses scrunching up. (The family resemblance seemed to be especially strong in that moment.)
“I may be chaotic, but even I have limits.” Anne spat out. Arms crossed over her chest, tongue clicking against the roof of her mouth as she scoffed. “What kind of monster doesn’t separate the KitKat bars before eating them?”
“It’s sacrileges.” Kitty agreed, pressing her forehead against Anne’s shoulder. “No one in this household would e-”
She’s cut off by a loud CRUNCH behind them. She turns slowly, and her mouth drops in absolute horror. She hides behind Anne, who for once is stunned speechless.
Jane blinks, holding a KitKat missing a noticeable chunk. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

Chess and Kate?
watt!  //  accepting!
- chess and kate have been best friends since they were in diapers
- literally, kate’s first steps were with chess holding her hand. (not that chess was much steadier. girl didn’t really stop being clumsy until middle school.)
- despite having nearly polar opposite personalities, it’s always been known the pair are a package deal. you don’t get one without the other.
- they can communicate with nothing more than looks. it’s eery.
- its well known if you so much as glance at chess wrong, kate will burn your world to the ground in a verbal assault. there have been times that she’s physically gotten ready to fight.
- before the knee incident, chess had to physically pick her up and walk away if anyone made an inappropriate comment or said something vaguely unkind.
- what people haven’t quite realized is that the people who’ve messed with kate mysteriously find themselves in deep shit with the school for a variety of reasons
- sometimes their illicit activities are brought to the attention of the school board, sometimes nasty rumors circulate concerning their secrets.
- chess pretends like she has nothing to do with it but kate knows. she always does.
- chess absently plays with kate’s hands. a lot. she just kind of runs her thumbs over kate’s knuckles when they’re listening to music, or doodle little drawings when kate is worked up to calm her down.
- after the knee incident, chess spiraled completely and her one tether to the world was kate, who sat in the hospital room day and night, and outside her bedroom door when she was released.
- no matter how hard chess tried to push kate away, she wouldn’t budge and eventually chess cracked and let herself have the support.
- kate gives every piece of herself to chess during the recovery period. she cuts herself open and bleeds all her emotions, support, love, everything she has into making sure chess is okay.
- including neglecting schoolwork, which wrecked the plan she had in place for her SAT studying, and her grades.
- one of the reasons she was so worries about being able to get into the same colleges as chess
- nevertheless, kate doesn’t care about any of that. she cares about chess.
- slowly chess pulls herself out of the depressive slump she was in. she’s still struggling with a lot, but she’s trying to be better so kate can stop worrying all the time.

farrah headcannons?
WATT!   //   accepting!
- she was raised by a single mother, who told her that her father had up and left them when she was too young to remember.
- when she was 11, her mom got seriously ill. in that time, farrah’s entire world turned on its head.
- she learned her father had never abandoned her, in fact her father had no idea she ever existed. her mom hadn’t told him she was pregnant.
- when her mom became too ill to care for her, she was shoved into her father’s home. this perfect little white picket fence kind of family he’d married into.
- both her father and her stepmom tended to be very lax on her, trying to be gentle because of the loss she faced. but farrah reads that as them not caring what she was doing.
- then there’s annleigh. farrah always wanted a sister, more than anything. except when she gets the older sister she always wanted, anna’s so mean to her.
- annleigh hated farrah for disrupting her perfect life. she lost her parent’s attention, they expected her to be a glorified babysitter and she hated it. she blamed farrah for the sudden and dramatic changes in the household which led to tension.
- no matter how hard farrah tried, annleigh ignored her.
- until she started drinking.
- when she was drinking, everyone payed attention to her.
- all she’s ever wanted was to feel like she belonged somewhere, and drinking and partying gave her that.
- even if deep down she knew they all hated her.
- her two biggest loves in life? old comics and the family cat.
- the family cat is the only member that doesn’t make her feel like she’s doing something wrong. the cat loves her more than she loves him.
- she wants someone to realize that the drinking is a cry for help. she wants someone to help her find herself again. but no one ever does. they only focus on what she does wrong, or they turn away in disgust, or they insist she’s more tolerable when she’s drunk.

1, you have a new theme and i love it, 2, watt headcanons about kate and eva?
WATT!!  //  accepting!
and thank you for noticing the theme! it’s still a work in progress, but i love it.
- kate can’t flirt, kate can’t flirt, kate can’t flirt, kate can’t flirt.
- now that you understand that incredibly pressing information, there is one more piece of information you desperately need.
- eva is oblivious, eva is oblivious, eva is oblivious, eva is oblivious.
- which....goes about as well as you’d expect.
- all of kate’s awful crash and burn attempts at failure totally go over eva’s head, given that eva is more than a bit distracted over how adorable kate is
- “so like is that um, the movie is playing, well, this really cool new scary movie that’s being released, and um, i heard, scary movies are better in pairs, and i was thinking, well, maybe we could go? not together! well together, but you know-” “that’s a great idea! we could make it a group bonding idea! good thinking, kate!” “i-yeah, yeah that’s what i meant i’m going to gay-I MEAN GO!”
- the rest of the team is dying laughing in the background
- eventually reese steps up and explains things to eva, while cairo attempts to teach kate how to flirt. (“if you ever tell anyone about this, dalton, i will deny it. but watching you fail is almost painful now. i’m doing this so i don’t have to watch you, not because i care.”) she does care.
- their first date is in a local coffee shop. when they leave, they lace their fingers and kate has never felt lighter.
- eva is the oldest of four, and her younger siblings adore kate.
- kate likes hanging out with them because she’s never got to have younger siblings, and its a really nice experience. even when isabelle completely destoys her at mario kart and proceeds to rub her nose in it, or when ricky pulls on her hair to get her attention.
- in fact, kate spends a lot of time at eva’s house. it may be chaotic, but the house is always alive and that’s more than she can say for her place.
- kate and eva are polar opposites in everything food wise, and it prompts a string of series arguments between them.
- pineapple on pizza almost breaks them up.
- “it’s a FRUIT, fruit doesn’t go on PIZZA!” “tomatoe is a fruit, and a vital part of any pizza.” “oh what, are you an expert on pizza now?” “kate, i work with pizza, i know it better than you do.”
- kate knows nothing about eva’s interest, but she loves hearing eva rant about what she’s passionate about.
- eva can always tell when kate’s having a bad day, and always knows just what to do to fix it.

do you have any watt riley headcanons? love the blog!!🖤🖤
watt!  //  accepting!!
- riley is an only child
- her parents are never home. there always off on buisness trips
- when she was little, she’d beg her parents for even the slightest bit of attention. she’d ask and plead for even five minutes of their attention.
- her dad just ignored her.
- her mom would tell her to go sit on the seat, and she’d be right out.
- riley would sit there for hours but her parents would never come.
- the only person she could ever rely on was cairo.
- no matter what happened, cai always had her back
- when riley spiraled or her mind got bad, it was cai who picked up the pieces.
- her most prized possessions are the build a bears she got from cairo
- she listens to them each night when she goes to bed
- she has trouble sleeping at night
- the bears are one of the few things that can get her to drift off
- one of the reasons cheer was so important to her because she was sure that if she could do well, she might finally gain her parents approval
- her need for that blinded her to everything else, including her closely held morals.
- her parents don’t show up for the trial.
- in fact, no one does.
- the team goes, but it’s only because they have to testify against her.
- that’s when she realizes how alone she really is.

5, r, watt HEHE
5F, Superstar, “I knew from the first note.”
thank you, mi vida! this was fun to write!
“I knew it was you.” Breathed Chess, eyes glowing and reflecting the lanterns Kate’s father had hung around the backyard.
“You...what?” Immediately, Kate’s heart began trying to escape her chest; it pounded against her ribs like a baby throwing a tantrum. Flames licked up the sides of her cheeks, turning them bright red. Words swirled and clogged her throat. How was she supposed to respond to that? She’d been in love with Chess as long as she could remember. It curled in her chest and burrowed in deeper with every heartbeat, it lingered in her lungs and blocked her from breathing, it made the lights dim in comparison to Chess’ shining eyes, it made music sound ugly in comparison to Chess’ laughter, it twisted her thoughts until they all circled around her best friend, it consumed every facet of her life. Without Chess, there was no Kate. But she didn’t know how to say any of that, how to ask if the same fire burned under Chess’ skin. Instead Kate’s eyes focused on the ground.
“I knew it from the first note.” Chess continued softly, not at all seeming off put by Kate’s silence, “Do you remember? When we were first learning to write, in Mrs. Mazzelovski’s class?” Chess took Kate’s hand in her own, taking comfort in the familiar warmth. Kate had always run hot, in temperature and temper alike. Meanwhile, Chess had always been cold as ice. Nothing ever got under her skin. Well, as far as people knew anyways. They were complete opposites, but that’s why they worked so well together. “The first thing you did was write me a note. Do you want to be my best friend? And you put these two check boxes, but both of them said yes.”
Kate’s cheeks seemed to get more red, the color seeping into the rest of her face and down her neck as she pulled her hands back to cover her face. “I don’t...I don’t remember that.” She lied, ears heating up. She did. The note had been for show, after all Kate had never known a world without Chess. And she would never want to. They were two sides of the same coin, inseparable.  But had that one interaction given her away? Could Chess really feel the same way? Hope soared in her chest, and for once, Kate let it. She’d spent so much of her time forcing herself to stop hoping, maybe this time she could…
“I knew from that moment, we would be best friends forever.” Chess finished, and Kate’s heart shattered. Best friends. Of course, how could she ever think otherwise? Kate forced a smile, feeling tears brim in her eyes. Suddenly she couldn’t thank the biting cold enough, it gave her an excuse for the tears and the redness.
“Yeah, forever and always.” Kate joked, nudging Chess with her shoulder. She sat silently, before standing up. “It’s really cold out here, we should probably head in.”
Chess gave her an odd look, but followed along. “Yeah, yeah we should.” She cocked her head, before softly adding, “I love you, Kate. You’re the best friend a girl could ask for.” She reached out and laced their fingers.
Kate’s heart tightened in her chest.

Can I see Kate headcanons first?
- Kate was raised by a very single, very absent father.
- He tries his hardest, but between three kids and two jobs, it's hard to always be there.
- Kate loves him, a lot, and she understands he can't always be around. But it doesn't completely ease the ache she feels.
- She lost her mom when she was seven. A freak bus accident.
- Her demeanor stems from the fact she was practically raised by her two older brothers.
- When the oldest left for college, he completely disappeared from everything family related and it terrified Kate.
- She was certain that her middle brother would do the same. She made him pinkie promise that he would stay in touch. That he wouldn't forget her.
- He does anyway.
- The first time he misses a Skype meeting, Kate just knows. She spends the next week crying into her pillow.
- It makes her all the more guarded. Why let people in when you know they're just going to leave?
- The exception to that rule is Chess, who's been her best friend as long as she can remember.
- It's oms of the reasons she's so frazzled about Chess leaving. Chess is the one relationship that she knows she can count on that she has left.
- Kate has got a PARALYZING fear of being alone. But she's just as scared of opening up. Which leaves her in a bit of a bind.
- GIRL CANNOT, FOR THE LIFE OF HER, FLIRT.
- Seriously, please don't make her. She's awful and always gets the punchline wrong. Trips over her words constantly. Goes bright red. (Eva finds it adorable.)
- There are days where she draws into herself and gets very introspective. Eva is usually the first to notice, and makes sure to gently reminder Kate that she's there.
- Kate visits Chess' grave at least once a week. She sits down and talks about her day, and her problems. It's one of the few places where she can and will be emotionally vulnerable.
- She's incredibly defensive of the people she cares about. Very much swing first, ask questions later kind of deal.
- A Hufflepuff, with strong Gryffindor tendencies.

Reese headcanons??
watt!  //  accepting!
- reese has ADHD, and yet still has some of the best grades in the entire school
- she works her ass off in order to maintain her grades and her extracurriculars
- while she doesn’t have many friend friends, she’s the girl at least half the grade goes to when they need something.
- she’s incredibly generous and loves showering people in random gifts.
- she actually has a *gasp* HEALTHY relationship with her parents! what?
- her mom encourages her every step of the way, and comes to EVERY game when reese is the mascot. when she finally makes the team. her mom gets all decked out
- her dad never has any clue what’s going on, he’s suuuuper easily distracted and has trouble understanding how the scoring works and all that, but he’s very vocal about his support.
- after everything, reese and her family kind of just...adopt everyone else
- they hang at her house with constant parental supervision (but none of the girls’ can complain...because positive parental affection??)
- reese can dance. she’s got some seriously amazing moves. it’s been one of her passions for as long as she can remember
- but she also has an amazing voice. the rest of the team is stunned when they hear her sing
- girl has three HUGE dogs who she loves with her whole heart. zeus, hades, and poseidon are the loves of her life.
- she visits the graves often, and always leaves a little something for the three they lost.
- there’s not a day that goes by where she doesn’t feel guilty over what happened to clark. if she had just waited, or slowed down, maybe things could have been different.

kat has aragon and/or jane ever cursed?
ASK THE QUEENS QUESTIONS!!  //  accepting!
kat’s lips twitch, eyes glimmering in a way reminiscent of her cousin right before causing trouble. “Jane and Aragon? Cursing?” She repeated, voice ladled with faux innocence as she batted her eyes. “Of course not. They would never. Unless you count the ti-”
Before she can finish, a hand covers her mouth. Aragon flashes her brightest smile. “Of course we haven’t. Unlike some of the queens, we have filters.” Her smug smile vanishes as Kitty licks the inside of her hand. Aragon yanked it back as if Kat’s tongue had been acidic, pulling a disgusted face. “What the hell, Katherine?!?”
“Anne taught me that.” Kat just grins. “And as for the question…you should hear them at family Uno night.”
