Not necessarily LU based, but in the overall “canon” -verse the Hero of Time doesn’t exist in two timelines, right? He died in the Downfall Timeline and never came to be a hero in the Child Timeline.
Legend and Hyrule probably only heard about the title Fallen Hero, never his true title. Same goes for Twilight, only knowing Time as the Hero’s Shade or Cursed Swordsman. Which means, only Wind knows about Time, and he is the only one with a legend about him.
Funny detail, if Hyrule Warriors would fall under the Child Timeline that would mean that Time was present during the whole timeline, it gets better if Mask was only dragged into the war, because the goddesses pulled a: You broke it, you fix it! Making it more fun, Time becomes just history’s biggest mystery and meme under historians. To the point where there are huge debates about him, because some records say that he lived after the Hyrulean civil war, but at the same time he is mention being at the War of Ages which was two whole Eras later! Was he ever a hero? Why are they no family records about him? Was he really just a forest spirit, was he even hylian?
Flora would absolutely have a field day, if the chain ever stepped only a foot in Wild’s Hyrule. Seeing how she is extremely interested in history.
For real: there is to little mention, in the fandom, that the Hero of Time is only known to one person (Or two if Mask had been in the war). Everyone else had never heard of him, less knew that there was a hero that came after Four. How had they all found each other? I know that, there is a fanfic troupe of the chain slowly forming, while hopping through portals ending in a new Link’s Hyrule. But in comic, the first time they all walked through a portal together, was after visiting Malon. Meaning they all met in Time’s Hyrule, in the Timeline were he is no “hero”. How did they find Time, since asking for a hero would not worked? What makes me also believe, that Time is only leader of the group, because he is the oldest and apparently has a high rank among Hyrule’s military. Maybe he showed the Triforce mark on his hand? But less likely since he hides it most times.
My money goes to Wind or Twilight. Wind talking randomly to this soldier, about the legend of his time, not knowing he is speaking directly to said person of the legend. The rancher only because, he got flashbacks of Shade, and he needed to find out more. Bonus would be Warriors lost at words, because that one deity that sometimes possessed his little brother, became the Milkman!

Love the thought of Leo and Mikey teaming up their mystic abilities to prank archeologists and historians
Leo makes a portal then within that, Mikey opens a very very small time portal of his own
They toss something in and excitedly wait for the results of the dig-site right where Leo had set his portal to
Cue mass confusion as the archeologists wonder what the hell a 1000+ year old Lou Jitsu figurine is doing in the ruins of an ancient city all the while Mikey and Leo laugh themselves unconscious

Wally and Barnaby are definitely something other than best friends, like in canon. Whatever type of relationship that is (romantic, QPR, I could even maybe see an argument for familial) can be debated but there’s definitely something there.

Do you all have anything for legends in the series. Now I don't mean Legends as in Darkstalker Legends I mean in book legends. Like stories dragons tell each other that have persisted throughout the years.
Little fairy tales parents tell their kids, bed time stories things like that.

When do you think was the first time Esme went to University and how do you think it went for her?? 🥹
Thanks for this! @stregoni-benefici🥹💕❤️I LOVE this question!
Here are some of my thoughts:
I think Esme went to university as early as the 1930s for an art/art history degree. Although the official guide says Esme has degrees in architecture and art, I don't think the first one she got was an architecture degree. I do think one of the fandom's headcanons that the reason Esme wasn't working as a teacher was that she didn't want to risk her children's lives makes a lot of sense. Her caution made her choose to give up teaching art after decades of wrestling with the desire to drink blood, but she still loved art so she went to college to refine it. Even though the guide doesn't mention art history I think it opened up Esme's interest in ancient architecture (and of course the 17th century Carlisle) and decided to pursue ancient building restoration as a career. So immediately after earning a degree in art/art history, Esme chose to pursue another degree in architecture. And it makes perfect sense that she would earn these degrees in the 1930s. During the Great Depression, the New Deal funded and facilitated numerous archaeological expeditions and projects, including collecting folklife records and restoring early American architecture. Key agencies included the WPA, CCC and Historic American Buildings Survey.
I think Esme's college life was rewarding but difficult - not academically challenging, but in terms of being a woman in a misogynistic, elite institution. She faced stereotypes about her intellectual capabilities and discouragement from male professors, as well as strict rules and restrictions placed specifically on women's behaviour and coursework options. The university excluded women architecture students from mentorships and work/apprenticeship opportunities that developed technical skills. The university rarely allowed women students to take site visits or hands-on design assignments from conception to construction. She was steered only towards "suitable" decoration projects. She had to be careful of her reputation if attending sessions too late into the evenings or being the only female. So I think it's quite possible that during the same time period, Carlisle was also attending the university to do a degree/find a teaching job (New Moon does mention the tradition that Carlisle would return to the university from time to time), for Esme's sake, and also to be exposed to the latest research. Moreover, financial difficulties, theoretically should not be hard since her husband was rich, but I've always felt that for Esme her past of being controlled and abused made her value all aspects of freedom and independence (nothing personal about Carlisle, of course). Carlisle could give her lavish gifts, but it was her degree, her choice, and she would pay for it. Unfortunately, most scholarship funding and paid jobs went to male students at the time. She had to sell some of her paintings anonymously to pay for her tuition and she continued to confront immense sexism and lack of career opportunity postgraduation.
I feel college was an important milestone in Esme’s "humanization" process. Not only did she finally overcome her fear of slipping in the crowd, but she was finally able to achieve something as a woman, as herself. She didn't have to be anyone's mother or wife in order to survive with her head held high.

I love your polls and it’s great you try to be on both sides to give fair chance to everyone, but the way you talked about shanks/buggy is crazy They’re fine together but in canon they’re brothers and your shipping googles got so tight you actually sounded like you could believe they’re anywhere close to canon which is u know stupid af
lmao, okay, this came out of nowhere 😂 Like... I talked about that months ago. But okay.
Anyway, Shuggy is canon. They're making out behind you right now.
Tumblr media
#Anon please 😂#Calling me stupid because you think I think shuggy is canon#but all the while claiming that the fact that they are brothers IS canon#My dear... neither are canon. It's all in our heads.#as far as I know only the marines said Shanks used to see Buggy as a brother#and what the hell do they know about the relationship between two pirates?#sounds like historians talking about queer relationships by saying 'they were REALLY good friends'#And... I don't usually talk about my ships on this blog but that was for the shipping war#shipping goggles was what the tournament was ABOUT...#But come closer... come look at my main blog...#I assure you you can only enter that blog with shipping goggles on 😂#This is all meant jokingly from my side of course#I don't see any ship but the confirmed ones as canon#even though some might be canon TO ME but that's something else entirely#Why not... you know... let people ship what they want to ship however much they want to ship it?#Do you see me taking offense to people who don't want to ship something?#No everyone is free to see relationships as platonically - even if they're canon confirmed to be married#I just take offense to people calling other people stupid because they don't agree with them on fandom things#Especially when they're claiming THEIR headcanons are actually canon#Honestly imo anyone talking about 'shipping goggles' is just trying to make people who enjoy shipping feel inferior#I'm sorry you can't believe we're all equals no matter what we ship or don't ship#anon#ask#not a poll#I hope you all get that this is not an invitation for you all to send me more messages about this#I don't want to start a discussion#I just want you all to respect each other

writing Miraak readjusting to being in Tamriel again is such a balancing act bc on the one hand, he's been gone such a long time that he literally forgot how to breathe, what hunger feels like, and that it gets dark at night. on the other hand, he's been in library hell for 6000yrs so you can bet your ass he's the single best informed person on Nirn. he is the foremost historian, alchemist, physician, physicist, theologian, mathematician, etc. he just... needs a little bit of help getting dressed real quick-
anyway, I just love love love having a Miraak who is undoubtedly like, the foremost expert on Tiber Septim, but he doesn't even like Talos, he was just bored and needed something to read. you can bet if someone's written it down and it floated into the possession of Hermaeus Mora's gross tentacles, Miraak has probably read it. he likely can't recall all of it and has forgotten a good deal, but he has read it. now he just needs to remember how to breathe.

Eddie Munson Comfort Headcanons
not feeling great today so here are some comfort hcs that have almost certainly been said before
eddie lends you his headphones and cassette player on the car ride home from shows
he lets you fall asleep on his chest in the hospital waiting room.
he pulls you into his lap for kisses on a bad day
snuggles you to sleep with an old crochet blanket that reeks of weed
reads you the Hobbit till you fall asleep
makes you watery Swiss Miss, but it's hot and piled with mini marshmallows
when you are away he sends you cassettes of Corroded Coffin, so you can listen to his voice whenever your lonely
he helps you put on your eyeliner when your too tired to function in the mornings
falling asleep watching star trek together
listening to old recordings of Dr.Demento on repeat
cutting each others hair an totally screwing it up the first few times
coming over to his place to sleep when you got in to fights with your parents

Indeedee Myth
There's an old Ballonlean myth of human Indeedee hybrids called fána. They weren't actually hybrids in the traditional sense; rather, people with Indeedee horns and Indeedee legs. They would help people and pokemon with tasks, but were also tricksters and play harmless pranks.

Can you do Korekiyo Shinguji as Ultimate Literary Historian???
sure can! found this interesting :)
Kiyo always had questions when reading older texts, mostly surrounding the context of when they were written and what they could possibly be responding to or commenting on.
Becoming a literary historian was something technically niche, but was the perfect fit for him. Looking through history from a literary lens was incredibly interesting, shedding light on some connections.
Even seeing how the language in literature changed, and when it did, was cause for more research. There was no shortage of topics that he could map timelines of!
Due to this, he tended to read more classical literature than any of the books his classmates would generally read for entertainment, but he was entertained enough with what he read.
There was plenty of overlap with some texts and time periods, complex weavings that he hoped to unravel. It was interesting to hear him passionately talk about those.

A bit of crack for Child of Mors: A List of Things Found In Mors' Desks (Ongoing Project)
*cackles*
There's lists going around among Regis and co and some historians on what the weirdest things found in those desks are. Here's some of the highlights:
a Cosmogony with so many annotations basically nothing is readable anymore
a shard of the Crystal (Regis will craft that one into a Carbuncle figurine for Noctis)
drafts for an indoor fishing place because Regis likes fishing
drawings Regis did as a toddler
picture of Mors's Shield Machaerad, cheeks puffed up like a chipmunk from eating so many Ulwaat berries at once
biography notes for one Augura Lucis Caelum (She was an older sister to a King and restored lost art. She got banished by her nephew for not conforming to his cultural reformations.)
carefully written and annotated profiles of possible wives for Regis (the last profile added was of Aulea, on which Mors simply wrote 'he will marry her')
a letter in an unknown language
a humongous picture book about Solheimr reliefs, also annotated by Mors
3 rocks
a lock of red hair so dark it nearly looks black
a love letter to Fabricas Lucis Caelum, the female King of Lucis who restructured the whole city and upon whose plans the modern city was build
a hate letter to Fabricas Lucis Caelum, the female King of Lucis who restructured the whole city and upon whose plans the modern city was build
stickfigure sketches ridiculing prominent nobles
a sheet of paper simply reading 'WHAT THE FUCK????' written by Mors and in pink glitter pen
tax forms with dicks drawn all over them
sticky notes full of insults directed at Bahamut
a letter to Bahamut apologising for those insults

also, idk if april's fools day was a thing back then, or if the french would've been celebrating but hey, a man turned into a beast so I will ask, do they celebrate april fool's day, and prank each other?
okay so, not only did adam and belle definitely know about april fool’s day, but one strong theory of the day’s origin is actually IN FRANCE!
there’s mystery as to where it came from, spanning all over europe from the 14th to the 16th century, but one prominent theory is that it had its beginnings in france, in the 1582. it started when the council of trent called for everyone to switch from the julian calendar to the gregorian calendar. in the julian calendar, you start the year at the spring equinox, which i guess is april 1st. the gregorian is what we use, starting the year on january 1st. but since news spread a lot slower, there were many communities that were still using the julian calendar for years and years. so it became a joke that they were “april fools,” and eventually the day became a silly day for foolishness and pranks. one noted prank was having a paper fish placed on your back and being referred to as a poisson d’avril (april fish) - which was basically calling someone gullible. what a roast.
now as for my beloveds! i’ve always headcanoned that belle pranks adam sometimes… just because his grumpy face is so cute 🥺🥺🥺 adam definitely hates pranks, and DEFINITELY hates april fool’s day. i don’t think belle ever does any mean pranks, because that’s just not her style, but she’d definitely do very obnoxious ones, and absolutely get the servants involved. things like sending adam on a wild goose chase when he’s looking for her. every servant he asks gives him a different location that she ISN’T. causing him to wander in circles all over the castle, tragically looking for his wife😭 she also does things like mixing up the order of his shoes on the shelf on his dressing room, and hiding his ink jars so he can’t finish any of his work 😮‍💨 just little annoying things to drive him crazy 🥰🤗
i think belle gets it from her father. i imagine when she was growing up, april fool’s day was always a very silly day for them lmao.
but honestly i think the real trouble starts when adam & belle’s SON gets older. i think he’s a big prankster and definitely takes this day too far sometimes. like he’d make everyone think a horse somehow escaped from the stables, when really he just hid her safely somewhere else. if he happened to be away (at school or what have you) he’d write ridiculous letters, saying he’s eloped with a spanish princess who visited the city! congratulate us!! (belle immediately knows it’s a prank because she sees the date on the letter and she KNOWS her son just wouldn’t do that. but adam definitely has a moment where his brain has a 404 Processing Error.)
maurice also definitely did stupid shit like bringing chickens into the west wing, and one year he literally brought a COW into the BALLROOM. adam nearly had a heart attack from this one. he was so upset he made maurice clean the entire ballroom floor BY HIMSELF. “go ask the maids where the cleaning supplies are, you’ve got til the end of the day.” LMAO. teenage maurice is a crazy kid. he keeps those parents of his on their toes! obsessed with him frankly.
he was also a very pranky kid toward his sisters. mainly renée, since she always had such big, annoyed reactions to his shenanigans. juliette was either like :/ or :( and that just made him feel bad lol. but reecy loooooves to push renée’s buttons, and i’m sure she dreads him on april fool’s day every year😮‍💨

Windcallers, iceologers and geomancers (elemental mages) are actually a seperate group to illagers, despite the similar appearance. They have wildly different cultures, the elemental mages originating from a civilization in the mountains, the Gale Sanctum (seen in howling peaks DLC)
They split off during a schism before the piglin wars and the collapse of modern society: between modernized testificates (all dead), the deeply religious gold and white robed villagers seen in minecraft legends (ancestors to modern villagers), and the ancestors to modern illagers.
There’s some considerable tension between illagers and gale mages. Many people of the Gale Sanctum feel the illagers basically imposed their highly militaristic culture upon them, and some believe the illager’s use of soul magic (and their culture) is barbaric and defies their own beliefs. Other members of the Gale Sanctum embrace illager beliefs, and identify themselves as illagers.
Illagers are (generally) highly patriotic and so, some of the considerably more patriotic illagers saw the Gale Sanctum testificates the same as they saw villagers - foreign outsiders who should be treated as second class citizens.
Illagers arsnt a monolith, while it’s an umbrella term for their general civilization they have a lot of groups that fight eachother a lot. The more fiercely imperialistic groups (such as the brotherhood of eternal life, the kinds of illagers you get in woodland mansions) think that they are the only true illagers and that other groups, such as illusioners, pillagers, witches and the million other modded illagers that are canon to my mc lore, are bad, and those groups feel the same about the “true illagers”

I don't think historians would ask nations questions. They would in the beginning but would soon realize that nations are lying their butts off. Nations couldn't possibly be in every location at every important point in history, America wasn't in Wall Street on Black Tuesday 1929, he was in Alaska hiking some mountain with Canada, but he'll say he was in Wall Street. Historians found out once an essay was published citing America and it didn't corelate with what he said to another historian about the crash. Going back to study what he had testified about other events, they found so many inconsistencies, and when asked about it America flat out said he has a bet with Canada on who can have the most essays cite themselves (hence why they happen to be at every event important to history, it's just more chances to be quoted)
And, they can't possibly remember everything. England was first asked about what Stonehenge was for in the 1600s. That was centuries after it was built, he's not even sure he was alive at that time. He couldn't say what it was back then and for sure can't now
It's just easier to avoid the confusion added with nations' "firsthand experience," thus historians avoid them like the plague
