For the past few days Floyd and you had been distant, tired of no communication Floyd has decided to write you a letter. However, before he could even hand you the letter he ends up talking to you instead. Why? Well because Floyd’s come to realize he couldn’t wait any longer. Anxious for your answer he rushes out his words and even fails to look you in the eyes scared to think this could be it.

After talking things out Floyd has finally found out the reason. Plus, he was relieved to hear it wasn’t him which was the problem. Just some good old stress, anxiety, and depression. Happy over the results Floyd leans his head against your shoulder and sighs in relief. Then before you could think you lifted his head and gave him a hug. Feeling the warmth fill you up you’ve never felt more loved than being in Floyd’s arms.

Grabbing hold of your legs he picked you up bridal style and carried you to the bed. All Floyd wanted was some cuddles and kisses, which you gladly gave. As for one of the major problems, well it was about you crying in alone. Floyd hated that, but he never wanted to push you to cry in front of him. He knew it made you feel small, so he never pushed you if you were uncomfortable, plus it only made you cry more. After hearing about how Floyd felt you knew you had to change, but it wasn’t going to be overnight. Together you made a promise to accept Floyd’s comfort as well as to understand it was okay to be vulnerable. Something you struggled with greatly.

In regards to the letter, well you found it after Floyd had fallen asleep. There on his desk was a letter addressed to you. He hadn’t even signed his name, showing how much in a hurry Floyd had been. Opening the letter you read the contents, on the slightly damped paper you read:

Staying with you made me feel alive and happy, I’ve never felt like this before. You’re someone who’s good at making me feel better. All I do is think about you then I feel better, that usually works out just fine for me. Now it doesn’t feel quite like that. I know you’re breaking down and I should know by now what it's about. Someone has to say something before we break apart. There’s something about us that’s changing, say can you tell me what��s bothering you? I really got no clue.

Well, that’s not true, I do have a couple ideas about what it could be, let me know which one it is. Please?

Is it because of your stress towards work? Has everything been piling on for you? I know you’re the kind of person to shut down during stressed times. Or has your health been acting up? Occasionally, your body tends to get hurt, especially if you’re ignoring your needs like this. Doesn’t help whenever I tell you to drink your water you suddenly remember you haven’t had any yet. Whatever is bothering you, can ya tell me?

On second thought, is it me? Am I the problem and I’m just too blind to see it? If it really is me that would send a shock right to my heart…. You can’t tell but I just walked away from this letter. I went away for a while.

I know that you’ve been crying on your own again. I’ve knocked on the door before because I wanted to comfort you, but you would always push me away. Plus, you would wipe your own tears and plaster a smile on your face. I’m supposed to be the one who wipes your tears away. So, if I’m the reason for your tears, can you let me know? If there’s no reason to stay with me, tell me. It’ll shock me for sure, but knowing I’m killing you slowly fills me up with pain already. Something between us needs to change, even if it means letting you go.

But not anytime soon! Nope, I don’t want to let you go without putting up a fight, that would be super lame. Here’s all the reasons you should stay with me. If you have any problems with me let me know and I’ll work on that part.

First off, I’m a verrrrrrrry good hugger. I’ll hold you tighter than anyone else, I won’t let you go. The next time you cry, I won’t leave you alone even if the air is awkward. I’ll just hold you tight till you’re ready to spill it out. Got that ________?

Secondly, I’m romantic~ See, I’m even writing this letter to you. Not romantic enough, I’ll give you flowers each day, especially those ones from that shop you like. I know I’ve been giving you a lot of cheap dates, but I’ll save up for an expensive one. If you don’t like our typical cheap dates, I’ll save my money. It might take a while though. Can’t say Azul pays me enough. Don’t forget kisses, if you want more of those, I can give you more. Plus, I won’t drop your hand, never would I do that to you.

For my third reason and the most important reason, I love you. If you haven’t felt my love enough, I’ll shower you in it. To me you’re the most important person. I don’t want nobody else if it’s not you. You brighten my days and I find everything fun because I love you. If it were anybody else, I would get bored, but not with you. To me you’re irreplaceable. My love even shocks me to this very day. Here just take my love!!!!!

________ what is going on with us? You know what, I was gonna hand you this letter and ask for a response, but I can’t wait that long. Jade told me to wait, but I’m tired of waiting. I don’t even know why I’m writing this part, it’s just a waste of time. Anyway, I’m off this is the end of my letter.

End of letter

Once you finished the letter you stared back at the eel who loved you. Feeling a smile creep up on your face you had the sudden urge to write back to him. Before you could leave the bed, Floyd caught you in his embrace. Looking down at the letter he very sleepily read it half-heartedly. Removing his eyes off the letter he looked back at you and asked if you wanted to keep it. Nodding yes in response, Floyd took a pen off the nearby desk and wrote his name: Floyd Leech. Afterwards he took hold of you in his embrace and the two of you drifted off to sleep.

Hello! I was wondering if you had a post compiling how each character refers to themself & addresses others or if there are only mentions in their respective personal compilation? (I only remember Vil always refers to himself as "atashi" except that one time in Ghost Marriage where he referred to himself as "boku", Deuce referring to his upperclassmen by their last names + senpai, Azul & Jade calling everyone by their name + san, Kalim calling everyone by their names without any honorifics, etc.) Thank you very much for being such a reliable source of twst info 💖

There is a chart at the back of the Magical Archives Game Guide that lists all the pronouns used by everyone and how they refer to others, which is amazing, but it is also a little incomplete: there is no listing for how Leona refers to Trey, for example, or a reference to the scene in New Years where Deuce refers to Jamil as Jamil-senpai instead of his usual Viper-senpai, or the one time in Book 5 that Epel drops the -kun from Deuce's name (this is probably because the guide was published in 2020, before those scenes existed in-game).

A very long time ago I translated all of that information into an excel sheet with the intention of listing all the EN-server localizations for contrast, but the project has since stalled :< It is so much information that I am not sure Tumblr will even let me share it:

I tried looking around for other resources and this wiki was my favorite!

In addition to listing pretty detailed information about who refers to who in what way, there are sometimes even notes of where in the story you can find the exceptions to each rule, like Ace calling Riddle a red tyrant in Book 1, Chapter 18 of the main story.

It seems a little incomplete though, with no mention of Cater dropping the "-kun" from Trey's name in Book 1 in an important moment, for example.

I have been slowly collecting this information for each student as a part of the character sheets that are shared to this blog every day, so maybe I will try compiling it all into one big index! :> Thank you very much for the idea!

ツイステ展がめっちゃ良かった

付き添いに近い感じであんま詳しいわけじゃないから(でもレオナさんはめっちゃすき)居ていいんか〜？ってちょっと思ってたけど行ったら良すぎてめちゃくちゃ楽しんだ😭 撮影禁止のとこも多かったけど撮れるとこは満足行くまで撮ってきた✌

全部良かったけど特に寮長の衣装テンション上がりまくっちゃった

リドルくん良すぎんか‥‥？めっちゃ写真撮ったレオナさんとフロイドが好きなんだけどやっぱハーツラビュルの衣装はいいな〜〜ってなる

もちろん他の寮長たちもちゃんと撮った！特に綺麗に撮れたヴィルとマレウス。

マレウス衣装黒いのにオーロラみたいに反射するのめっちゃぽかった‥‥‥‥

そんでレオナさんももちろん撮ったんだけど、しっぽ出せるようにジッパーあるの好きすぎた😂

あと各寮の杖と衣装の小物も展示されてたんだけど良すぎ‥‥‥ってなった(杖を撮れ)(杖は撮るの難しかった)

グリムたちもかわいかった〜〜肉球

このエリアに各寮のお部屋のミニチュアがあったんだけどなぜかハーツラビュルだけないのは気になった😂なぜ😂とりあえずオクタヴィネル撮った〜

あとおみやげに買ったメタルチャーム。ハッピービーンズデー？のフロイドがかわいすぎて1個だけ記念に‥‥と買ったんだけど、ほんとにフロイド出てくれて叫んじゃった。ありがとう‥‥

というわけでばっちり楽しんできてしまったお話でした。(こんな書いておきながらみんなの誕生日の日すらログインできなくてすまん)

Summary — Chapter 6 Part 1

The kidnapping of the Dorm Leaders

Vil: 「Certified as an emergency situation, I response! Under my authority as Pomfiore Dorm Leader, I allow the use of attack magic against intruders!」

Kalim: 「Scarabia takes the same position as Pomefiore, get ready!」

Jamil: 「Hah!」

Kalim: 「First graders, stay backwards. Heartslabyul, contact the Dorm Leader!」

In this first stage, we can appreciate the sudden change in the atmosphere at Ramshackle Dorm; just a few seconds before, we were discussing with Vil how he planned to make it up for the VDC incident in this, the last meeting of the NRC Tribe. Next moment we were all startled by the sudden clatters outside the building before STYX dammed androids destroyed the magic barrier and broke inside, destroying the effort of our little lounge; with a smoke bomb and electric shock waves, they took an unconscious Vil and Jamil —or as they called them, Subject E & D...

Ace: 「..... Couldn't...」

Rook & Kalim: 「Eh ?」

Ace: 「Dorm Leader Ri...ddle... I tried to contact him but I couldn't, he never answered.」

Kalim: 「..... Impossible !」

Riddle: 「Under my authority as Pomfiore Dorm Leader, I allow the use of attack magic against intruders. Everybody, get ready.」

Silver & Sebek: 「Understood!」

『・・・』

Riddle: 「Gaaghh—ah... My body feels... Lighter...」

？？？: 「Visual confirmation. Subject A was inmobilized, proceed to capture.」

？？？: 「The subject is moving again! Opposing violent resistance! All unites retreat!」

Riddle: 「To leap on me like that... You have guts. I'm going to slit all of your heads together!」

？？？: 「Subject completely silent. Collecting Subject A. Return to headquarters.」

In this second stage, they get to the Horseback Riding Club in the middle of their preparations, almost midday and there are many students gathered there when the sudden noise alerts Riddle as he recalls the barrier has been broken. He asks who the unexpected visitors are and if they are there for a visit under the rules of NRC. By not receiving an answer, he allows the use of magic in defense of the students but they're soon overcome by the armor, which Sebek realises is magic-repellent. Riddle struggles to their first attempt of putting him unconscious and ignites a fire surrounding him just to be beaten by a shock wave similar to the one that took down Vil and Jamil.

Sebek: 「What do you think you're doing!? Where are you taking Riddle-senpai!? WAIT! ..... Ah!」

Silver: 「Sebek, look at the sky. Those look exactly like the ones who took Riddle away, they seem to be flying around the school in squads. Their target seemed to be Riddle since the beginning.」

Sebek: 「..... True. Since they looked at him, they called senpai as "subject". From that point on, they didn't even seemed to notice our existence...」

Leona: 「Those marks on their suits are... No. I surrender. Here's my Magic Pen. Take it.」

Ruggie: 「What!? But there are only 3 opponents, you could defeat them easily!」

Leona: 「The armor they're hiding behind of is not a mere thick layer. It is a Magical-Defense Plate.」

Ruggie: 「Magical-Defense Plate... It's a sort of material that repels magic, isn't it the one that magical police uniforms are made of!?」

Leona: 「Don't you think is weird either?」

Ruggie: 「I get it. So you find useless using magic with a local restraint.」

Leona: 「I've seen the marks on their suits several times back at the Royal Palace. They must be "ferryman".」

Ruggie: 「Ferryman...?」

For the third stage, they break into the Greenhouse just when Ruggie was looking for Leona by orders of professor Trein. They wake up the young Prince and he immediately surrenders without putting a fight, for amazement of Ruggie and every player; he recognises the Kharon symbol on the armors and whispers to Ruggie why he did it. Then, Subject B aka Leona Kingscholar opposes no resistance as they take him away, leaving Ruggie as the one in charge with the concern of not being able to come back now that he has been taken by the hands of the Ferryman squad.

Leona: 「..... It's fine. Just put your tail between your legs and be quiet.」

？？？: 「...... Confirmed as a magic tool certified by Night Raven College. Confirmation, Subject B non-resistive detention. Please, come with us.」

Leona: 「Fine. May I ask for a polite way of escort? You see, I'm actually a delicate Prince. I don't get well along rough treatment.

Ruggie, I leave Savanaclaw to you until I come back. ...... If I can come back.」

Ruggie: Wha... Ah ? Leona-saaaan!

？？？: 「Subject C has been visually identified.」

？？？: 「Idia Shroud. Magical Humanoid ORTHO. Identified at the same point.」

Azul: 「I think it's too late. First grades, evacuate the building now! Under my authority as Octavinelle Dorm Leader, I allow...」

Idia: 「Stop, Azul-san. Please, do not resist. Be quiet. This is the special security team, "Kharon".」

For our last stage, Ortho calculates the landing of three unidentified objects in the classroom where the Boardgames Club was having their activities, he gives the order to evacuate and is about to give the order of attack, in his very own words as the Dorm Leaders must join forces to defend the College during an outside attack but Idia stops him and helps the Kharon Corps take over Azul, who is horrified by finding out Idia may be involved on whatever was happening. Then, they inform Idia he must be going with them.

Idia: 「A special magic guard team owned by S.T.Y.X, Kharon. Let go of the Magic Pen by the time being, hands behind your head.」

Ortho: 「I recommend to follow my brother's behaviour recommendations. Azul Ashengrotto chances of getting injured are reduced about 87%.」

Notes: A letter from Jade Leech where he thinks back about the beginning of your relationship, fluff, romance, Jade x Reader, GN reader.

To my dear _______,

Do you remember when we first met? You had been tumbling off the mountain and I was trying my very best to help you. As you know I’ve never been one to help someone just because I felt like doing so. Helping someone means you’re also granted help from them, but I found myself opposing this very idea. Before we met, everyone would gladly offer their help, with the exception being Azul and Floyd of course. To have someone reject this, why it was a very bad decision you made. My curiosity was full latched onto this someone who didn’t follow the same behavior.

What caused you to deflect my poor self? Perhaps I failed to hide my emotions or as one would call it my true intent. It felt as if I was made of glass with how you saw through my every move so easily. Not only that, but you figured out a solution to each task I requested help for. Recall when I asked for you to work at the lounge, why you offered a way to get things done with less people. That idea was quite exquisite, if I may say, we made great use of it that day.

Sooner or later, I figured I would get bored of you and eventually go back to being lovely classmates. However, I was wrong, I became even more intrigued as time went on. Despite being able to see through me when it came to business, you still had moments of obliviousness. How shall I put this? You are a joy to tease because I never know how you’re going to react. There are times when you expect it and scrunch up into a ball. Other times you talk back to me with your own version of teasing. Yet, I also get the occasional ________ who is naive enough to fall for my tricks. Truly adorable. Looking back at the earlier stages of our romance sure brings tears to my eyes.

Sometimes I wonder what would happen if you were the one doing the chasing in the relationship. Would you fight for my attention? Or perhaps you made the bold decision to ask me out upon seeing me. Love at first sight you may call it.

That’s not to say all our moments together were filled with happiness. No, not at all. Especially during our fight on our first trip together. We fought over plans, between going by the dot or simply floating by. In the end it was thanks to our compromise that we could get over this bump in the road. Now we don’t run into such problems anymore. I’m quite lucky you’re my partner.

______, I know I asked you this many times, but when you’re done reading this, could you give me a kiss. I’m craving your love so badly right now. Just writing a love letter isn’t enough for me. I really want to see you, of course, there’s no way I could be irresponsible. There is no other option than for me to carry out my services with Azul and Floyd. Poor lonely me getting worked to the bone and away from my lover at that. How cruel the world is.

To close off my letter, allow me to thank you for loving me. You’ve given me so much love. There are times when I don’t feel worthy, but you’re quick to retaliate against my statements. I’ve never been happier than I am with you, I value our relationship greatly because I love you. My time is always here for you, there is no other exception than you. _________, I’ll never get tired of saying this, I love you.

So, how was my letter? I’ll be waiting for your response.
