Ky's name in Japanese is spelled カイ＝キスク (Kai Kisuku) with final /u/ sounds in Japanese often being devoiced/deleted [1][2]. So whether Michael Kiske of Helloween, who Ky is named after, says his last name like kis-kay or not, Ky Guilty Gear doesn't (at least in Japanese, anyway).

You can say it however you want/is easiest though, he's not real haha But there is a canon-confirmed pronunciation for those who were curious

How do you pronounce ky kiske? I have heard it pronounced at least three separate ways in game.

Ky is 100% pronounced "kai" (rhymes with "guy")

I say Kiske like "keesk" ("kee" sounds like "key"+sk) and the katakana spelling suggests it's pronounced that way too: カイ＝キスク (kai=kisuku). "U" in Japanese is often either not pronounced at all or pronounced very softly (like how "desu" is pronounced "des" and "Daisuke" as "dai-s'kay")

But "Kiske" is borrowed from Michael Kiske of the band Helloween and he's German so I think if you said it sorta like "keesk-ay" that would be fine too. That's likely where the confusion on how to pronounce it in the games comes from, it typically being a German/ic last name, even though Ky himself is French in the games.

It is really inconsistent in the games though lol IIRC it's still inconsistent even as recently as Strive
