Super Smash Bros: Nintendo All-Stars!

One of the games that shaped my whole perspective of video games! I wanted to pay a proper tribute to the original art since it doesn’t get enough love!

Super Smash Bros (64 to be precise), means a lot to me and reminds me of a time when I was young and curious of the world. Every time I watch the intro, I still feel that sense of amazement and wonder. Seeing Iconic Nintendo characters come together to battle it out will always bring a special kind of feeling to my soul. The art direction & Music of this game also amazes me because of how particularly abstract they handled the creative direction despite the limits. I wish I was a fly on the wall to witness this game being made from beginning to end…

Now that I am older (and still growing), the series has became one of the biggest crossover franchises in history. And despite the ups & downs this series has made me felt, I’ll always come back to this game to remind me how much it’s shaped my love for video games~🌟

For context, this was when panda essentially got Nintendo to sue a rival world tour out of existence and tons of players started dropping out

あつ森の次がわからない

私は根っからのゲーマーなので、なんでもやる。FPSもTPSも、アクションも格闘も、音ゲーもパズルもストラテジーもシミュレーションもRPGもナイアンティックもアイドル系も恋愛系もやれる。

好き嫌いや得手不得手はあれど、操作くらいはできるし。

ところが、あつ森のためにSwitchを買い、あつ森以外のゲームを楽しんだことがない友人達には

【その次にすすめるべきソフト】が

ない！

という問題がある。

操作できて世界観に魅力を感じてくれるならば、ゼルダの伝説やモンハン、ウィッチャーなんかのAAAタイトルをすすめたいのだが

それらが【あつ森の次】ではないのは確かだ。あつ森の次にそこに手を出して楽しめるレベルだったらもっと早く本体を購入していたはずだ。

あつ森の次にそこら辺を挙げちゃったらもう終わりである。操作億劫、次何やったら良いのかわからない、なんのためにやっているかわからない、で詰みだ。

戦いとか競い合いを苦手としてる場合も多い。人を倒すためにエイペックスとかFortnite（フォートナイト）とかやったりしない。スマブラとか絶対しない。ゲーム初心者の彼女にスマブラやらせようとする男は反省した方が良い。楽しいのは自分だけ。マジでやめて欲しい。彼女が「楽しい」とか言ってくれるならその彼女はお前にはもったいないほど気遣いができる娘なので、猛省すべき。私のようなゲームのできる女友達に愚痴るのがオチ。目を覚ませ。

ドラクエですらなぜ戦うのか疑問に思うのだ。マリカで一位とりたいとかないし、ピーチ姫を助けたりしないし、マリオをメイクしてやろうとかもない。

アクションは苦手（やったことない）で

、ファンタジーとかストーリーすらさほど求めていなかったりする。

攻略を見るという習慣もない。

牧場物語は皆が想像している100倍作業ゲーだし（私は好き。でもタイトルによって出来不出来のムラがすごいのも難点）、せっかくあつ森を楽しんだ人達にパズルゲームとかのカジュアルゲームは違うよなと思う。すごろくとかスポーツとか恋愛とかのジャンルはとっつきやすいが、あつ森の熱量に並ぶことはないだろう。

そうしてSwitchを腐らせていく人のなんと多いことか。

【次】の出ない私が悔しい。

あつ森が名作��ぎるのもあるけど。

女児向けのゲームくらいからはじめた方が楽しいとは思うんだけれども、大人になると手を出せないと言う人もいるし。

果たして、あつ森の次はどうぶつの森の新作しかないのか、と思うけれども、一度本体を腐らせた経験があると、次の本体は買わないだろうなと思う。

どうぶつの森は今まで1ハードに1つしかでていないことから、次が出たらまたハードを購入しなければならないのだ。

コロナ禍もほぼ終わり、そのハードルは高い。

現状、同じハードでどうぶつの森の新作が出ることを期待するしかない。

そろそろ、どうでしょうか？

The Demon King, Bowser…

Inspired by realistic interpretations of the Super Mario series, this is a “What if” scenario displaying what would happen if he was actually as threatening as his appearance displays!

I used Super Smash Bros. Melee/Brawl, the Japanese Super Mario world commercial, A Tiger’s mouth & snapping turtles (for the shell especially) to make this Bowser. So I hope everyone enjoys this piece since I had a lot of fun making this gritty interpretation!🔥
