This took a while sorry i passed out last night

To put it bluntly, Copia hated the cold. It was horrible. No matter how many layers he put on it always felt like he couldn't get enough warmth. The ministry only made matters worse with it's cobblestone floors that did very little to ward off the chill.

The Cardinal huddled underneath his comforter even more as he squished himself against Aether's side. At least the ghoul provided some heat.

"I don't think you can get any closer." Aether chuckles.

Copia grumbles under his breath.

"You know you can just ask for a new room, right? One that actually stays warm and that's not in the old part of the abbey."

That was true. Copia's room still remained in the older building that all clergy members used to live in. Since the building of the newer structure, most siblings and clergy members had migrated to the nicer halls. But not Copia. He found it hard to make the change. This room had been his room for -- well, for as long as he could remember. It wasn't the prettiest or the most decorated, but it made him feel secure and being the creature of habit he was, Copia stayed put.

"You'd like that, wouldn't you?" He tries to act irritated but a shiver breaks his character. "Have me just give up everything and move!" He flung his arms out dramatically.

"It's not like you have a lot of stuff."

"Hey! I can't help that I can't afford the nicer things." Copia huffed. Before he can say anything more, Aether bends down and places a kiss on top of his nose.

Copia goes cross-eyed as he tries to meet the ghoul's eyes, his nose twitching. It's only once Aether pulls away that Copia lets out the loudest sneeze, dark red coloring his cheeks.

"Look," The ghoul laughs, "you've already caught a cold from this terrible room!"

"Oh shut up." Copia buries himself deeper into his comforter.

I do apologise if there are any spelling or punctuation errors here, I've never really written a proper book before but I did get a 6 in my English language mock paper LOL!

Quick reminder for how i write..I have a chosen name for the main character mainly because as much as I do, still would like for the book to be pretty customised for the reader, writing books like this is still pretty new to me and I feel as thought having 'y/n' in stead of an actual written name just adds confusion because I'm sorry but whenever I read a book with y/n I never replace it with my own name. And there are some things Id just prefer to write in myself so I can make writing it easier rather that the constant use of - h/c f/n l/n. If you don't like that I do apologise but please understand I do still have a image of how the main character will look and this will make book bunches better and easier to write and describe certain things. Interesting so far! - Nobody's Ghoul (Ordinary Magic, #8) by Devon Monk 100%! 4🌟 Book 7 was a novella and i wasn’t interested in reading it! So, read book 8 and i’m ready for 9, which comes out... soon tm? Says “2022″ which... well. yea. Could be tomorrow, could be 6 months from now. Heh. - Hell's Spells (Ordinary Magic, #6) by Devon Monk 100%! 4🌟 A little weird with the sudden switch to middle sister, but hey i get it with the demon problem. Heh. Now we get back to the Real Shit Sleep, no more sleeping pills. x_x It’s... it’s been a trial. Started my period. This sucks. A lot. Lately i’ve been falling heavily into obsessive things. Checking the oven constantly. Constantly. i can see the oven is off, but i still have to touch the dials, just to make sure. It’s... exhausting? Ugh. Stupid gremlins in my brain. Chuck ‘em out in the trash. And because i’m on my period, my IBS is having an absolute block party and i hate it. ARGH.
