幾原　あの企画を聞いて、大抵の人は「キューティーハニー」みたいな（イロっぽくてカッコいい）作品になると思ったみたいなんです。僕もそうなんだろうと思っていたら、佐藤さんは「違う」って言って。佐藤さんが描いた1話の絵コンテを見ても、なにが「違う」のかよくわからなかった。それが色がついて、音がついて、三石琴乃さんの声が入って、ああいうかたちになって「そうだったのか！」という。 庵野　1話、よかったですからね。 幾原　あそこに「セーラームーン」の全てがありますね。

　　說起堂堂雲夢江氏家主，為何會心甘情願匿名下嫁三尊之一的澤蕪君？ 　　事情還得追溯回半年前──

　　「宗主！那頭怪物朝峽內跑去了！」 　　雲夢邊陲的山谷中，數道慌亂的腳步聲紛至沓來，踩出嘈雜的聲響，迴盪在懸崖峭壁之間。 　　來者眾人身上皆穿戴著雲夢江氏特有的黑紫色校服，都是些年紀約莫十來歲的少年，一看就是剛入道不久的愣頭兒青，個個腳步凌亂、吐納不勻，跑動時腰間配掛的雲夢銀鈴不斷叮叮鈴鈴發出震天響聲。 　　這般陣仗，若出去夜獵，怕是還沒瞧見半點邪祟鬼影，便先把方圓十里內的鄉間村民給吵醒了去。 　　看著眼前一干未成火候的弟子，跑在這些半大孩子前方的雲夢江氏宗主──江澄也不禁腦殼抽疼。 　　射日之征一役中，蓮花塢因開罪岐山溫氏，受其圍剿，舊有門生近乎死絕……所幸在澤蕪君的幫助下，江澄成功尋回因禍四散的殘存弟子，更開枝散葉、收納了新血，這才得以再振雲夢江氏盛名！ 　　……只可惜這些後進的弟子大多修為尚淺，儘管接受了不短時間的鍛鍊，卻依然達不到一般修士的水準，別說夜獵了，甚至連在天光白日下抓捕一頭作亂妖獸都能攪出如此驚天陣仗…… 　　江澄忍著即將溢到嘴邊的怒罵，口氣不太好地朝咋咋呼呼的一干弟子喊了聲：「知道了還不快追上去！」說罷便大步一跨，朝妖物逃竄的方向突進了數尺。 　　與少年們的步履相比，江澄追趕獵物的姿態顯得十分幹練，他雙眼如電、箭袖輕袍，腰間雖同眾人一樣懸掛著清心鈴，但奔馳之間卻能身正而不震，完全不聞半點鈴響。 　　江澄雙眼直盯前方用四腳奔跑的白毛猛獸，並與該物維持著約半里的距離，右手壓在佩劍三毒的劍柄上，準備隨時上前給那妖物一劍迎頭痛擊！ 　　可那東西速度極快、反應靈敏，即使穿梭在彎彎繞繞的山谷中也不顯半分停頓，饒是眾人之中身手最為矯健的江澄，一時半刻也追趕不上，只能尾隨其後，追擊了數十丈，這才跟著那東西鑽進了一道細窄的峽谷之中。 　　「看你往哪逃！」江澄心下大喜，加足了勁追了上去，打算趁妖獸轉彎落速時一口氣將之手到擒來！可不過一個轉彎，他卻詫異地發現，繞過彎處後，入眼的卻是一處絕壁，而在這死胡同中卻不見方才那巨大惡獸的身影。 　　「真是操了……」江澄皺眉停在山壁前，身後是追趕而來的雲夢江氏弟子。 　　少年們一路追趕而來已是氣喘吁吁道：「吁……宗、宗主……那東西呢？怎麼不見了？」 　　江澄沒有回話，只是睜著細長的眉眼從峽谷入口走至底部，沿路上並未瞧見足以窩藏妖物之處。搜尋未果後，他只能皺著眉將視線朝頭頂狹小的天際看去。 　　兩道垂直的峽壁挾得蒼藍色的天空只餘一道裂口，讓人有種宛如滄海一粟、坐井觀天的錯覺。 　　江澄瞇著眼，沿著山壁細細看了過去，頓時發現在五丈遠的峭壁上，竟藏著一處極難察覺的石窟！那石洞位在險處，洞內石紋與山體紋路極為相似，若非刻意尋找，任誰打此處經過都不可能察覺有異。 　　少年們隨著江澄的視線望去，自然也發現了遠處的石穴，頓時紛紛開口詢問：「宗、宗主……那洞穴該不會是怪物的老巢吧？可那東西又沒翅膀，是怎麼跳到山壁上去的？」 　　身邊的弟子說出了江澄心中的疑惑。那石洞長在幾近垂直的絕壁上，洞口沿著壁面而開，毫無立足點，連人都難以攀至該處，更何況是以四足行走的野獸。 　　「不無可能。」江澄回答著弟子們。他自然知道以那洞口的距離，一般生物很難輕易躍上，可眾人沿著獸印一路追趕至此，足跡卻在此處便消失無蹤，峽谷之中又沒有足以容納龐大異獸之所……唯有陡峭山壁上的石洞是唯一突破口。 　　「你們先回去，請縣衙增派人手過來，那東西體型龐大，光我們幾人無法將之運回城內。」江澄皺眉說道，並抽出佩劍三毒。 　　他們這次接到衙門的委託，幫忙圍捕這只不斷在城中肆虐的妖物，本以為只是普通的鄉野精怪，怎知竟如此麻煩！ 　　峭壁難以攀爬，他今日帶出來的弟子又是些學術不精的外行，連御劍之術都還學得零零落落，又如何能隨他赴洞探查？現下看來……只能他一人犯險，入獸洞、擒妖物了。 　　聽到指令，跟在他身後的雲夢江氏門生，頓時面面相覷，擔憂道：「可是宗主，你一個人鬥得過那東西嗎？聽說那隻怪物昨晚吃了彩蓮村二十八隻羊、五頭牛、三大籠的雞，甚至還啃了八匹駿馬！弄得彩蓮村滿地血水殘肢，好生可怖！」眾人一聽，紛紛交頭接耳了起來，霎時間七嘴八舌，盡是慌亂害怕的耳語。 　　江澄聞言，沒好氣地轉頭怒瞪身後一群被謠言訛語嚇白了臉的弟子們，怒道：「身為雲夢江氏弟子，就算是碰到吃人怪物也需拔劍向前！就你們這畏頭畏尾的模樣，也配稱我雲夢江氏弟子？回去通通給我紮上兩個時辰的馬步！」 　　江澄恨鐵不成鋼地罵了好一會，這才拋出手中三毒，將之射入遠方峭壁山面，接著縱身躍起，以三毒劍身做立足點，輕功躍入那闃黑的石洞之中。

　　踏入石穴後看見的景象讓江澄有些意外，既是妖獸的老巢，他本以為會看見滿地殘屍敗蛻的景象，沒想到迎面而來的，卻是一扇用來隔開內裡與外室的屏風，屏風上繪製著簡單的山水景色，雁度寒潭，雁去而潭不留影，別具風雅。 　　江澄皺著眉越過了屏風，一股恬淡好聞的沉香香味撲面而來，完全沒有他想像中的腥羶血氣，更讓他吃驚的是，在這洞窟之中，不但陳列著簡單的桌、椅、几、案，其中的茶桌上，甚至還擺放著用紅花梨木打造的茶盤組，正泡著姑蘇特產的※水月茶。茶香揉合了沉香，幽幽地瀰漫在洞穴之中，有種說不出的恬淡自適。 　　他繼續往洞穴深處走去，只見這處石洞被陳設得十分雅緻，琴桌、棋席、書案、畫檯皆一應俱全，江澄甚至在一旁的石壁上看見了宋朝劉松年《※四景山水圖》春、夏、秋、冬的臨摹。 　　竟真有人居住於此嗎？江澄心中訝異，眉頭皺得更深。 　　眼前所見壓根不似妖物的巢穴，要不是洞中壁面還留有兇獸的爪痕和血跡，江澄甚至會以為此處乃是某位高人雅士的退隱之地。 　　「……怎麼會？」江澄越走臉色越發糾結，他在洞內實實在在搜了一圈，卻依然一無所獲，別說妖獸了，他連半點人影都沒瞧見。 　　「難道猜錯了？」江澄喃喃自語，轉身打算退回峽谷中再尋其他，可他方要走至洞口，卻被一旁閃出的黑影給撲了個正著。 　　「什麼東西！」他吃驚地大喝一聲，方想伸手抽出三毒，卻想起那劍還被他插在崖壁上，頓時心中大駭。 　　壓倒他的東西是一隻巨大的白毛老虎，有著比尋常獸隻更加龐大的身形，毛色極為乾淨，印著黑藍色的虎紋，不知為何，白虎的腦袋上綁著一條白色飄帶，乍看之下有些眼熟，但危急時刻江澄根本沒時間思考。 　　幾乎是在被撲倒的瞬間，江澄便奮力出腳踹向白虎的肚子，把那隻長得極俊的虎隻踢得發出哀鳴，被迫鬆開箝制。 　　江澄趁機滾向一旁，接著右手一翻，打算喚紫電，可預想中的帶電長鞭卻沒出現在他的手中，只劈啪地閃過幾絲微弱的電流便再無反應。 　　見狀，江澄頓時黑了臉。他怎麼忘了……這幾日他的※天癸將至，是他靈力最弱的時候，連御劍都有些餘力不足，又如何能召喚紫電？ 　　既無佩劍三毒，又無法器紫電，江澄只能咬牙朝洞口奔去，試著在被巨大虎獸撕成碎片之前逃出生天！ 　　可江澄動作雖快，卻快不過身手矯健的白虎，被踹得生疼的白虎憤怒地發出震天咆嘯，身子伏低、後腿一蹬，猛地朝江澄撲了上去，硬生生把即將奔出洞外的江澄給推入一旁石壁上突然出現的矮洞之中。 　　江澄這才發現這石窟中竟暗藏玄機！除了方才他搜過的石廳之外，竟還另有一間密室！ 　　狹小的密室洞口在江澄和白虎滾入後便悄然密合，石門與石壁渾然一體，儼然看不出半點痕跡。

　　「我操！」江澄被白虎推進密室時嗑到了腦袋，霎時間眼冒金星，眼前殘影無數，喪失了逃跑的時機。 　　深怕就此成為白虎齒下亡魂的江澄，驚恐地不斷朝虛空掄著拳頭，不管三七二十一，用武松打虎的氣勢──先打再說！ 　　可壓在他身上的猛獸，卻彷彿正在極力隱忍一般，硬生生吃了他幾記拳頭都不肯離去，只低聲咆嘯，吭哧吭哧地在他耳邊喘息，獸類特有帶點濕氣的鼻息全噴在江澄的臉上，叫他心頭大亂。 　　「該死的畜牲！」江澄口中發出怒吼，渙散的雙目總算聚焦，看清了正伸爪壓著自己前胸的兇獸，下一秒，他雙掌成拳，帶著赴死的決心，用盡力氣往白虎的腦袋砸去。 　　就算死，他也要和這頭惡獸同歸於盡！ 　　江澄一擊即中，帶著被白虎反撲、咬斷脖子的決心，又接連砸出了好幾拳，可他想像自己被撕成碎片的形況卻沒有發生……不，確實是「撕碎」了，只見那頭巨虎以強而有力的兩隻前爪制住了江澄掙扎的軀幹，接著低頭張嘴一咬，「刺啦」一聲，「撕碎」了江澄的上衣。 　　這一口不但咬破了江澄的前襟，也扯開了他纏在胸口的裹胸布，就見從堂堂雲夢江氏宗主殘破的衣裳內，驟然彈出了兩隻白嫩渾圓的乳肉。 　　那倆東西尺寸雖不大，卻小巧可愛，上頭還點綴著細小的淡粉色豆粒，微微凹陷，令人恨不能將之挾起搓揉直至凸出。 　　屬於女子的胸脯並不稀奇，但長在一個大男人身上，就叫人瞠目結舌了。 　　事情的發展讓一人一虎皆有片刻的怔忡。 　　白虎瞪著江澄胸前那兩坨較一般男人突起的柔軟，一雙發紅的金色獸眼目光閃爍，藏著幾分震驚，但是隨之席捲而來的躁動，讓牠再顧不得這麼多，喉中低吼一聲，再次伏下腦袋，不過幾番功夫便將身下之人一身紫衣盡數咬碎。 　　「我操你這畜牲做什麼──！」江澄失聲大叫，伴著衣衫被撕咬成一條條的破布，他發現從壓在身上的白虎下體，鑽出了一只尺寸駭人且前端佈滿倒刺的獸莖，頓時大驚失色。 　　他總算知道壓在他身上的白虎想幹些什麼了……這隻畜牲！竟將他當成了雌獸，想與他交合！ 　　江澄頓時拚了命地掙扎了起來，幾乎使出了吃奶的力氣，可隨著他掙扎加劇，白虎壓制他的力道也愈發強勁，屬於猛獸天生強悍的氣力，壓得江澄骨頭嘎吱作響，不一會便疼得他雙眼發紅，眼泛淚花。 　　「放、放手！痛死了……」江澄紅著眼眶，怒瞪身上的巨獸。 　　誰知那白虎竟十分通曉人性，聽他喊疼，還真減輕了一些力道。 　　但江澄還來不及喘口氣，那頭白虎卻挪動著偌大的腦袋，頂開了他的雙腿，強迫江澄露出雙腿之間的私密之處。 　　只見江澄雙腿之間竟無半根毛髮，乾淨素潔的鼠蹊耷垂著尺寸一般的陰莖，而在那肉粉色的軟物之下，卻沒有屬於男子該有的囊袋，取而代之的是一枚惟女子身上才能見得的神祕裂縫。 　　那裂縫光潔飽滿，像個鼓脹的白麵饅頭，入口的花唇緊閉，散發著乾淨清新的氣息，顯然並未被人開發過。 　　江澄這藏了二十多年的祕密，看得白虎呼吸加劇，一股股溫熱的氣息全噴在江澄的柔軟之處，惹得那無人知曉的秘境，敏感地縮了縮。 　　誰能知道，堂堂雲夢江氏的現任家主，不但是個下體寸草不生的「白虎」，還是個雙兒。

　いちばん印象に残っているのは、最初に彼女の私的な感情を表現したシーンです。父親であるシェーンコップに、「自分がイゼルローン要塞奪取作戦から外されたのは何故！？」と直談判しに行くんです。（ＤＶＤ１９巻 第７４話「前途遼遠」より）あの場面は、実は、テストのときは、シェーンコップ役の羽佐間（道夫）さんは、カリンにとても優しく言い聞かせるような感じで演じていらっしゃったんです。結局、シェーンコップのキャラクターとしては、そこは厳しく、冷たく演じてください、という指示があって、皆さんがご覧になっているような、少し冷たいお芝居になったのですが……。思わず「お父さーーん！」って抱きつきたくなるような心の広い父親であるシェーンコップを、一瞬、私だけが、垣間見ることができたんです（笑）”

Kotono Mitsuishi 三石 琴乃 Book

Kotono Mitsuishi's autobiography.

Kotonoha is apparently an older word used for words. The kanji typically used are say and leaf. Hence the leaf looking shaping below.

Naoko Takeuchi drew new artbook just for this book and the picture is signed by both of them.

Forward by Keiko Kitagawa, the voice of Sailor Cosmos and the actress for Sailor Mars in the Live Action version. They are really good friends in real life.

Roughly translates as a thank you for being so kind. Keiko watched Sailor Moon since she was a little girl and is so grateful to be able to work with her.

Below is a drawing of Sailor Mars. Please note Keiko was not revealed to be the voice actress for Sailor Cosmos until June 2023 and this book was published in March 2023.

I'm hoping to be able to read this book one day as well as all of the cast interviews in the visual artbooks but I have long way to go. Kanji is no where near my friend. Looking forward to testing more of language skills when I watch the Cosmos movies in a few months!

Personality Chrysalis is extremely laid-back and easy going, to the point of appearing lazy or sluggish to some people. While it's true that she's not one to rush things, she's also fairly responsible with her schoolwork and other responsibilities. Naturally calm, she is not easily fazed or annoyed, unless she is being ordered around or rushed, in which case she might get a bit confrontational. Chrysalis is very well liked and easy to get along with, which has earned her a decent social life despite her difficulty with remembering people's names. She enjoys lightly teasing people regularly and doesn't mind others doing the same to her, so long as she's not being mocked or insulted. She has good self-esteem and is generally not too concerned with others’ opinions of her, whether it be of her appearance, personality or otherwise. She does not pay much attention to how she dresses, and prefers comfort over style. However, she is very picky about personal hygiene, and thanks to her affinity for fragrances she always smells nice.

Background Chrysalis comes from a family of metalworkers and jewelry crafters from the Queendom of Roses, although some of their ancestors were originally from the Scalding Sands. Being curious and persistent as a child, she learned how to work with metal from her parents at a young age, and is fond of all forms of arts and crafts projects. She also enjoys mixing fragrances and either creating perfumes or incorporating them into handmade candles.

She has three older brothers who attended NRC when Chrysalis was young. The siblings are very close, although the boys regularly make fun of Chrysalis for being considerably shorter than them and other members of her family, which always puts her in a bad mood.

Chrysalis is a butterfly beasthuman who has not gone through her metamorphosis as of her second year at NRC.

Unique Magic/Signature Spell Chrysalis’ signature spell is called Puff. She can produce smoke from her mouth that intoxicates people and neutralizes another person’s magic. The smoke can make people feel lightheaded, sleepy, nauseous, or delirious depending on how much of it they breathe in and how concentrated Chrysalis makes it. While it affects mages and non-mages alike, it seems to have a stronger effect on people or creatures with magical abilities, as it disables these abilities completely for a short amount of time and leaves them feeling very weak overall. Once a person is affected by it, the only solution is to wait for the effects to pass, since Chrysalis can’t control the smoke once it enters another person’s system.

In a duel, Chrysalis can surround herself with her smoke and use it as a shield, as it repels magical attacks and it does not intoxicate her. However, it does block her own magical attacks, so she has to let her defense down before attacking. The amount of blot this spell produces is proportionate to the amount of smoke she releases and its concentration.

While she does not need it to use her signature spell, Chrysalis often uses a metal pipe to better control the flow, direction and concentration of her smoke. She crafted the pipe herself and always carries it with her.

Trivia

Chrysalis was a very late bloomer when it came to her metamorphosis - while most butterfly beasthumans’ wings and antennae grow when they’re around 9 or 10 years old, Chrysalis’ didn’t happen until she was almost 18 and studying at NRC. She had to spend a month and a half holed up in the dorm and taking remote classes while she dealt with the pain of her body’s transformation (and learned how to function with 3 ft wings growing out of her back). It was not a good experience for her or anyone in Heartslabyul.

Since she didn’t have any visible butterfly traits before the metamorphosis, most of her classmates didn’t know she was a beasthuman until her antennae started poking out of her head

She loves obscure, weird authors and poets, and writes experimental poetry from time to time that makes no sense to anyone else. She also entered (and won) many spelling bee contests as a kid.

As fond as she is of making weed and 4/20 jokes, she does not smoke - it’s all her magic

She’s second only to Leona when it comes to finding the best places to nap on campus

Riddle had a physical reaction to her cardigan the first time he saw it; he hates it so much

She sometimes chews on her pipe when she’s deep in thought, even if she’s not using it for her signature spell at the time

Can often be found singing or humming under her breath when she’s alone

While she loves and makes all kinds of jewelry, she doesn’t wear any herself that often
