Jump SQ. From April 2008 featuring Clare from Claymore on the cover! . . This magazine covers chapter/scene 78 from Volume 15 of the manga. The magazine also come with a variant cover and small poster for Tegami Bachi or“Letter Bee” by Hiroyuki Asada. This magazine also has Yusuke Murata’s one-shot Madofuki Park or “Window Washer Park” with a handful of colour pages! . . The first time I’ve seen it was from @beirabooks post earlier this year and after I saw it I knew I had get find a copy! Since then I’ve been looking for the book none stop. The only problem was that I’ve only seen it for sale maybe like twice with this one being the second and the first time I let it slip by like a fool, luckily this time I was able find this one but it cost me a pretty penny as they say… Actually the price wasn’t the worst but the shipping is what made it hurt more. But regardless I’m so happy to have it! Condition wise I’d say it good-very good, some scratches on the cover on a small ding to the bottom right corner. Also some pages are a bit wrinkled like it had been in a place with high humidity maybe but then again only some pages are wrinkled and not other? I dunno but not a big deal to me it’s just just odd. Anyways gotta say I absolutely LOVE this cover! It’s easily my fav out of the bunch, I think no.2 would be the first Claymore Cover! So with this one, I now own 7 of the 9 claymore featured covers! I only need two from 2007 monthly Shonen Jump which are equally as hard to find nowadays. 秋刀魚の味

こういう映画も観ておかなくちゃね、というので。

間の空きが微妙で芝居じみた棒読みセリフに、 固定カメラと形式ばった映像になかなか馴染めないまま、 話の面白さに引っ張られて最後まで行くと、 じわ～っとする、これがウマさなのかな～。

秋に公開するから「秋刀魚の味」というタイトルにしただけで、 特に意味はないのだそうですが、 観る側からすれば、庶民的な、どこか懐かしい味わいを感じようとしてしまうのか・・・

この時代の、娘を嫁に出す父親とその周辺、 この時代らしさを、この時代の典型のように描いているのは、 今この平成・令和の時代になったからこそ、 見事にあの時代を表現しているな～と思えるけれど、 果たして当時はどう受け止められただろうか、などと想うのも楽しい。

男性たちの堅苦しさが対照的に、 女優たちの美しさと可愛らしさが画面を活き活きとさせて、 一度観とかないとな、という作品でした。

海外の監督にも大きな影響を与えた監督ですが、 セリフの間やニュアンスなどは、 外国人だからこそ違和感なく受け入れられるのかもしれないと思うのは、 北野武やもちろん黒澤の映画にも言えるな～などと想ったりもして。

Most of my drawing studies were in cartoons, animation, and practical art classes, so...

I don't have any specific book recommendations that I can say, "This is it!" I don't have a specific book recommendation that I can say📚

When I was a child, I used the manga of Weekly Shonen Jump as a reference, so I dare say that would be it?

I recommend Yusuke Murata[村田雄介], the cartoonist in charge of drawing "Eyeshield 21" and "One Pan Man.

(Personally, I recommend Eyeshield 21 for its simpler touch.

)

I also referred to line drawings and drafts before they were made into color by animators.

As I answered in a previous question, Tsunenori Saito[斎藤恒徳]https://togetter.com/li/309637, for example, was one of the first artists I looked at when I was trying to draw pencil drawings.

I would take a little bit of the style I wanted to imitate from manga and anime, and then I would do the same kind of shading in pencil as I did in my art classes for drawing.

The most important thing is the time I spend looking at the drawings of the artists I want to use as references and researching through trial and error how I can reproduce this style with my own hands.

Also, observe how shadows and light and dark shadows generated by the light source are created, and practice by actually adding shadows.

【新作歌舞伎 『流白浪燦星』取材会】 ルパン三世役・ 片岡愛之助さん登壇＆口上イラストも初公開

新作歌舞伎 『流白浪燦星』（ルパン三世）のルパン三世役・片岡愛之助さん、脚本・演出の戸部和久さんが登壇する取材会が11月7日（火）に都内で行われました。

自身も「ルパン三世」を楽しんできて、もしルパン三世以外の役を演じるとしたら？との問いに＜マモー＞と答えた愛之助さん。

本作に取り組むにあたっても “歌舞伎の安土桃山時代の中にルパン一味がいたとしたら” という考えにいたるまで話し合い、そこから衣装・カツラなどさらに相談を重ね、新作歌舞伎『流白浪燦星』のルパン三世役に全力で挑んでいると意気込みを語りました。

「ルパン三世」に欠かせない音楽は愛之助さん自身もワクワクする仕上がりと自信を見せ、物語や台詞を三味線の伴奏で語る「義太夫（ぎだゆう）」や、「だんまり」「本水」といった歌舞伎ならではの演出を盛り込んだ“歌舞伎版”ルパンの世界をぜひ体験して楽しんでほしいと話しました。
