Outstanding Pinch Hit + Update

To update people on how things are going, we're still hoping to golive at 11:00am UTC on 20th January 2024 as planned, but we can't yet be 100% sure it will be live by then since we need to make sure that everyone has a gift. If everyone has a fanwork at that point we will golive - we will give a further update on the 19th for how likely that is looking. So far, we're waiting on 9 stories due by the 19th and we have 1 outstanding pinch hit that is below which we'd really appreciate any help finding a pinch hitter for. We're also still in the process of doing approvals, which have been delayed due to some real life events getting in the way, but we're working to do them as fast as we're able to.

New chapter of Jiaoren is up !! I hope you'll like it.

I really struggled with the color scheme for this one illustration but i hope it's still pretty ! And i apologize for skipping so many week for Jiaoren i think i was this close to a burn out at work and i really needed the break. (To be fair i think i need a longer break but huh...We get what we get...) Hopefully 2024 will be better for writing, as 2023 was awesome for art !

Opening his eyes confirmed, to his significant irritation, that Wei Wuxian was not actually in the Caiyi town market anymore. He wasn’t even in a bed! Not his and Lan Wangji’s bed in the Jingshi or his rooms at either Lotus Pier or Koi Tower. He had lots of beds to choose from at this point — a frankly unreasonable number, which was not something he had ever really expected for himself, certainly not when for a while his only bed had been a sleeping mat next to a blood pool. But despite this plethora of options, he was still tossed into some dingy corner on an unfamiliar floor. He was feeling rather offended by it all. The sad excuse for kidnappers before him didn't improve his opinions on the situation.

I'm a sucker for comically failed kidnapping attempts, in which the bad guys just don't have a chance in hell of being anywhere near as terrifying as the protagonist, so I decided I needed to write a little one-shot along those lines, to give myself a break from my longer WIPs :3

I think my absolute favorite part of it was Lan Wangji's soft pining. He cooks for Wei Wuxian ya'll! He does all the little things that shows he cares.
