Thomas Enderby | Hope’s Savior
Tumblr media
Full name: Thomas Enderby
Nicknames: Mr. Enderby, Brother ( cult ), Tom ( Faith ), Daddy ( Eve )
Birthday: November 19, 1974
Death: November 3, 2018 (Age 43)
Sexuality: Heterosexual
MBTI:  INTJ
Height: 6′ | 183cm
Side: Project at Eden's Gate
John's tattoo: Wrath ( right lowerarm ), Greed ( chest ), Envy ( back ), Pride ( across his neck ), Lust ( abdomen )
Location: Henbane River
Occupation: engineer / unemployed
Hobbies: painting, boxing ( before cult )
Background / Pre-Cult: After a bad divorce Thomas was left with two children, while having a difficult job. Wanting to spend time with his kids, looking after them he had to quit his job, trying to apply for night shifts. As a believer in God he used to pray a lot for his kids and even his wife to come back. But as he started to drink alcohol he became aggressive and sad. Usually blaming himself for the divorce. He used to break things all over the house, scaring his kids, but he never layed a hand on them. His parents saying the kids should be living with them, their grandparents made him even more depressed, thinking they were right he wanted to kill himself, trying to be an insurance fraud, so his kids at least got money after him. When the cult came to Hope County he listened to Joseph Seed’s words and found more comfort in the Voice, than his own God. He helped building the bunkers for the Project, finally feeling himself again. But as the cult became violent his son turned against him, took Eve and they left Thomas for the Resistance. He wants his kids back, but he doesn’t want to leave Faith’s side, as he believes in the Project and the Father’s words.

Thoughts about people in Hope County :
Mary May: He doesn’t like the woman since she kicked him out of the Spread Eagle. He owed her a lot of money when he drank too much there and when he started a verbal fight with the owner and was kicked out of there he doesn’t like the young woman.
Jerome Jeffries: He felt betrayed by God and so betrayed by the Pastor when his wife left him. He prayed for a perfect family and life and when he didn’t get it from the church he turned to Joseph Seed. Before that he liked Jerome, he was close friends with him, but now Thomas thinks of him as a false prophet.
Adelaide Drubman: He thinks of the woman as a sinner of lust. But he kept being nice to her when she was his son’s boss. Even though he never liked her and when she rejected the love of the Father and Faith he sent his men to take care of her for Faith.
Eli Palmer: Before the Project they were co-workers. When Thomas quit his job they didn’t meet again until they worked on the bunkers together, but then the man left the Project and joined the resistance. He thinks of him as a traitor.
Faith Seed: Faith is like a Goddess to him, an angel amongst the devils of the Earth. When he joined the Project he felt the closest to the young woman. Her kindness reminding him of the world’s better side. He gave up on alcohol with her help, and she promised him that when he meets his family again they can be reunited in the new Eden. He’s one of the most loyal followers of her, always doing what she wants, protecting her. He’s not in love with her, but emotionally he feels like they belong together, their souls.
John Seed: He is glad that he met the man. The confession was a very great experience for him. He learned a lot from the younger man. And even though he has not as big respect for him as the Father or Faith, he still calls him “Sir” or if John lets him than “Brother”. Although his obsession of the Deputy is suspicious, so he tells everything about that to Faith and Joseph, for John’s own good.
Jacob Seed: He always felt respect for the veterans, way before the Project. His own father used to be a soldier and he saw what his father became when he got back from the war. He understands Jacob’s methods and thinking, he hears him out and respects his decisions. Even if violence isn’t liked by Thomas. ( thanks to Faith )
Joseph Seed: The Father became the light in his life. He showed him the path from the wrong decisions, he saved him from sin. He gave him hope and faith and for that Thomas owes him his life. He thinks about the man as God himself, sometimes forgetting he’s just a man. He’s their Father and they are his children. That’s the way of God, and that’s the way Thomas likes it as well.

Special thoughts of my ocs:
Tee Enderby: Though he wanted a girl as a firsborn, Thomas still loved dearly TJ and was more than happy that he was born. It wasn’t easy to raise him up, but it was rewarding, because Thomas got to spend time with his son. As TJ got older their relationship became bad and though he didn’t want to, Thomas later realized he was violent toward the boy after the divorce. He’s more than sorry about that during the Holy War and wishes his kids would join him in the Project as he just wants them to be safe from the end of the world. But when he can’t protect them and he ends up leaving the cult last minute, to save his son’s life he’s glad that at least he got to save him for one last time, though he felt sorry that he abandoned his boy.
Eve Enderby: It was so much easier with Eve. Being his second child, her raising was so much easier as well. He felt a deeper connection between her and himself, than with TJ. Maybe because Eve and Thomas are so much alike, but TJ was nothing like him. Thomas loved spending time with his little genius and wanted the best for her. Even after the divorce he tried to get her into a special school, but she refused because ‘she wanted to be a normal kid’. He felt proud to have such a kind and clever girl as his daughter. And when he saw her lay dead on the Jail’s ground he knew he failed the one thing he was supposed to do: to protect his kids.
Trinity-Hope Johnson: He heard about the Deputy, the Snake in the Garden who causes so much pain and destruction through Hope County. She crossed his plans a lot of times and for that he sometimes feels his Wrath starting to reborn. But the Father wants her alive, so he doesn’t act upon his fury. When they meet at the Jail and she tells him that his children are inside the building he turns against the Project and helps her fight through the cultists to get to his children.
Rhea Jessop: He doesn’t approach Faith’s sister for a long time. But when Faith asks him to guard her he does so. She seems sweet and kind, always tending the garden or dancing around in the Bliss field. But John told him to be wary of her, her sin being a posion on other people. But he can’t help but see some of his own daughter in her, so he doesn’t stay cold with the young woman.
Special thoughts of peoples’ ocs
.. @onl-you s universe
Emmanuel McAdams: He met Emmanuel on some shifts, when John and Faith were having a meeting. He likes the man, thinks of him as a kind and generous person. He doesn’t know much about him, they don’t talk about personal stuff, but he seems nice. Although he watches him with caution as he gets closer to Rhea Jessop and tells everything he sees to Faith.
Tumblr media
Trivia:
He liked to do box before the cult, he gave up on that hobby because it was a source of his Wrath. John said to him to stop it, so he did stop.
He was married to his wife for over 23 years. They divorced because the woman stopped loving him and had an affair with another man.
In 23 years he never cheated on his wife, never thought about another woman either, that’s why it broke him so much that she left him and their family.
He’s Faith’s right hand man, always being at the side of the young woman or doing work for her. He’s a VIP, one of Faith’s favourites.
He gave up on alcohol thanks to Faith, but he couldn’t give up on smoking. It’s a sin of Lust in John’s eyes, so that’s why that sin was carved into him.
Even though he won’t admit it, Eve is his favourite out of his children, but he still loves TJ too.
It hurts Thomas that TJ calls himself “Tee” because he doesn’t want to be named after his own father.

“Strangers in the Street”
Saw the night give way where the light was golden So I took my leave of all that I was holding Darling come the day when your nightmares fall I'll be on that first plane home and we'll outrun them all Well I guess it's sweet We still live like strangers in the street
It's the cruelest thing when the word is spoken I swear it's a sin to see you heartbroken Darling come the day it's too much to breathe I'll hold this space for you and I won't let you leave I will keep the beat We'll still move like strangers in the street
Darling come the time when you slip away I'll be that whispered word that hangs around your doorway Our tale complete We'll still dance like strangers in the street

UPCOMING THE FRATELLIS SHOWS
FRATELLIS’ BIO: A brashly melodic indie rock outfit from Glasgow, the Fratellis feature vocalist/guitarist Jon Fratelli, drummer Mince Fratelli, and bassist Barry Fratelli. The witty trio played its first show in early 2005, maintaining that the band's moniker was merely an homage to Barry's original surname (however, other rumors suggest that the Fratellis borrowed it from the nemesis family featured in Steven Spielberg's film The Goonies). Such trivia only added to the Fratellis' growing appeal upon their debut, and the band's limited-edition self-titled EP arrived in April 2006. Although few copies were pressed, the record received a helpful boost from Zane Lowe's Radio One program, which put the acoustic-driven track "Creepin Up the Backstairs" into regular rotation. Televised appearances on Later with Jools Holland and Top of the Pops followed during the early summer, while the group's second single, "Henrietta," earned the Fratellis their first U.K. Top 20 hit. "Chelsea Dagger" began climbing the U.K. Top 40 that August, and the debut album, Costello Music, finally arrived in September. Although the album failed to chart in most countries (even an American iPod commercial featuring the track "Flathead" failed to spark much interest across the pond), Costello Music enjoyed a great deal of success at home, earning the bandmates a BRIT Award and peaking at number two in their native U.K.
The Fratellis returned to the British charts in 2008 with "Mistress Mabel," a track from their polished sophomore effort, Here We Stand. The band then went on hiatus for a few years; during that time, Jon formed the torchy duo Codeine Velvet Club in 2008 with Lou Hickey and released a solo album, Psycho Jukebox, in 2011. Meanwhile, Barry joined the Twang as a touring member and Mince played with Jon's backing band as well as with Throne o' Diablo. During this time, "Chelsea Dagger" also became the unofficial theme song of the National Hockey League's Chicago Blackhawks. In 2012, the Fratellis regrouped for a U.K. tour and announced in 2013 that they had recorded their third studio album in their native Glasgow. We Need Medicine arrived in October 2013. By the end of the year, they were already writing songs, some of which appeared on the Soul Crush EP, available as a free download on the band's website. The Fratellis recorded their fourth album in Los Angeles with producer Tony Hoffer (who also produced their debut); preceded by the singles "Me and the Devil" and "Baby Don't You Lie," Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied was released in August 2015. The following year, the band celebrated the tenth anniversary of Costello Music with a U.K. tour. In 2017, they began work with Hoffer on their fifth album. Preceded by the disco-tinged track "The Next Time We Wed," In Your Own Sweet Time appeared in March 2018. The Fratellis headed back into the studio in L.A. with Hoffer to record their next outing, 2020's Half Drunk Under a Full Moon. ~ Andrew Leahey & MacKenzie Wilson, Rovi
