“Eccentric! Chef Moon” is a heartwarming romantic comedy that will follow the unusual love story of Yoo Bella, a world-famous fashion designer who has lost her memories (played by Go Won Hee), and star chef Moon Seung Mo (played by Shinhwa’s Eric).

200306 Shinhwa’s Eric & Go Won Hee, The Encounter Between The Star Chef and The Australian Homeless in “Yoobyeolna! Chef Moon“?
Tumblr media
Eric and Go Won-hee begin a new start on Yoobyeolna! Chef Moon.
Channel A released a preview video for their new TV show, Yoobyeolna! Chef Moon. which will be broadcast every Friday and Saturday. The drama shows not only show just bitter-sweet love between Eric and Go Won-hee but also conflicts surrounding designer Go Won-hee as well.
At the start of the preview, Chef Moon (played by Eric) catches the audience's eyes with his appearance as a chef while explaining his dish fluently in a foreign language. Next, it raises curiosity for the viewers to wonder what happened when Moon Seung-mo was getting arrested by a policeman with a gun pointing at him.
Tumblr media
At the end, Eric was telling the police that "She thought I am strange!" then Yoo Bella (played by Go Won-hee) fainted all of a sudden. Eric got to know Go Won-hee as a homeless, but she is actually a famous fashion designer.
After their first encounter in Australia, they meet again at a village. In this scene, Go Won-hee shows up with a shocking visual reminiscent of a horror movie. With his great cooking skills, Eric starts making food for Go Won-hee as she keeps saying "Hungry", "I'm hungry". Go Won-hee, Go Do-yeon and Choi Kwang-je unintentionally ended up living with Eric. They invigorate the drama with their humorous chemistry as they continue to live together in a close cohabitation.
Tumblr media
In addition to Go Won-hee losing her memory and become a troublemaker of Seoha Village, there is also great tension among Ahn Nae-sang, Kil Hae-yeon and Cha Jung-won. Ahn Nae-sang is heard saying "Then, kill her"; Cha Jung-won being nervous; and Gil Hae-yeon trying to find Go Won-hee that adds high curiosity to the future story development.
'Yoobyeolna! Chef Moon' will premiere at 10:50 p.m. on March 27th.

200319 "Abuji!"(Father!)...How Shinhwa's Eric from "Yoobyeolna! Chef Moon" Became a Single Dad.
Tumblr media
Eric and Go Do-yeon showcase an exceptional father-daughter chemistry.
Set to premiere on Channel A this comming Friday, March 27th (Friday), a Friday-Saturday drama "Yoobyeolna! Chef Moon" hinted at a special synergy between tsundere Eric (as Moon Seung-mo) and mature child Go Do-yeon (as Kim Seol-ah) from Seoha Village.
The two released photograph shows Eric and Go Do-yeon sitting together in an old traditional space. The other one shows a worrisome Eric and an innocent Go Do-yeon facing each other as if they were looking at each other, suggests a father-daughter-like synergy between the two.
Tumblr media
Moon Seung-mo, played by Eric in "Yoobyeolna! Chef Moon", is a star chef who has opened a number of Korean pop-up restaurants around the world and made many people fall in love with his cuisine. He moves to Seoha Village after an unexpected accident. He accepts Kim Seol-ah (played by Go Do-yeon), who calls him dad for some reason, as his house guest and begins a chaotic life with her.
Kim Seol-ah, a child who appears at the Korean traditional 'Pungcheonok' pork soup restaurant out of the blue and claims to be Moon Seung-mo's daughter, a daddy's girl who calls Moon Seung-mo 'Abuji' (father). She boasts charms with her Chungcheong dialect and arouses viewers' curiosity of where she came from and how she found Moon Seung-mo.
While there is no evidence that Moon Seung-mo is her father, Kim Seol-ah firmly believes that she is his daughter; and while Moon Seung-mo appears to push her away, he actually protects Seol-ah during crisis. Such scenes are expected to present the viewers a heart-warming story.
Tumblr media
The perfect father-daughter chemistry between these two, whose bond seems far stronger for two non-blood related people will be seen from Channel A this coming Friday, March 27 at 10:50pm on "Yoobyeolna! Chef Moon", a new Friday-Saturday romance drama.

200327 Shinhwa’s Eric Returns With Rom-com “Eccentric! Chef Moon: “Mun Performed More Than 90% of All The Cooking Scenes Himself.”
Tumblr media
Actress Koh Won-hee and actor Eric Mun pose for a picture before “Eccentric! Moon Chef” press conference on Friday. (Channel A)
Singer-actor Eric Mun is returning to the small screen in four years to feature in Channel A’s new miniseries “Eccentric! Chef Moon,” with actress Koh Won-hee.
The new series, set to air Friday night, will feature the 43-year-old as star chef Moon Seung-mo who falls in love with a reckless fashion designer Yoo Yoo-jin.
Taking place in the rural and fictional Seoha Village in the northern Chungcheong Province, the drama will unfold a warm story as the two characters develop love.
“After taking a break from acting, I was looking for dramas with more warm story lines compared to those of my previous pieces where I was mostly featured as a cold and sensitive character. I decided to star in this series because of the pleasant feeling through the characters and setting of the story,” Mun said during a press conference held online Friday.
This is also his first appearance on a television drama since he tied the knot with actress Na Hye-mi in 2017. Previous to the marriage, Mun starred in smash-hit romantic comedies “Another Miss Oh” in 2016 and “Discovery of Love” in 2014.
Producer Choi Do-hoon said during the media event that he had Mun in mind as the chef role from the very start.
“Mun is actually a good cook and he sticks well with Moon Seung-mo’s image, so I really hoped he would take the role, and thankfully he accepted it,” Choi said.
Mun’s active involvement in cooking variety shows was one of the reasons why Choi found Mun well-suited for a chef role. Starting with “Three Meals a Day” in 2014, after another season of the tvN show in 2017, Mun appeared on “Law of the Jungle” and “Wheeled Restaurant” in the years following.
Living up to the expectations, it is told that Mun pulled off the chef role perfectly. According to Choi, Mun performed more than 90 percent of all the cooking scenes himself.
Koh said her character as Yoo-jin will be a dynamic and comic one.
“She shows a completely different personality after losing her memory. I’ll be showing diverse aspects of myself in the drama,” Koh said.
Veteran actor Ahn Nae-sang will be acting a cold-hearted successful businessman Im Cheol-yong who is “a man driven by greed” according to the actor’s explanation.
Other casts include Gil Hae-yeon, Cha Jung-won and Choi Kwang-jae.
The 16-episode series will air every Friday and Saturday at 10:50 p.m.
