o1. HieixSango

Number one is actually NOT MirSan despite popular belief but a crossover ship... This has been my longest running ship and I have YET TO LIVE THIS OUT. YYH and InuYasha both ran on TV while I grew up and these two just made SO MUCH SENSE TO ME. Hiei, a demon, being pursued by a well renowned demon slayer, the love they both share for their respective siblings, the exile and loss of their loved ones. THE SEXUAL TENSION. I’ve wanted to dive into this forever. Both are fairly proud people but I can absolutely see this trust system built between the two over time as their walls fall. 

o2. MirSan

This kinda goes without saying, though I will admit, I was not on the MirSan wagon until I started roleplaying here and with @amethyst-noroi​. He really does understand her, albeit not at first, but they were the two to always mellow things out for the InuTachi, usually the voice of reason for Kagome and InuYasha. They just work, and I love their family. 

o3. InuSan

These two are fighters til the end and refuse to allow anyone to see them as anything other than. InuYasha infuriates the hell out of Sango, but I can absolutely see this as another opposites attract sort of situation. And...while likely not-canon, she DID kind of go for InuYasha first while intoxicated...heh.

o4. NaraSan

OKAY YALL GOTTA HEAR ME OUT....I... just really like toxic ships and it really doesn’t get more toxic than this one. I honestly started loving the idea of this ship once we learned that Lord Kagewaki, prior to Naraku killing him and taking over his body, took Sango in and cared for her and instructed her to return to him. This can lead into all sorts of deceit and trickery after the fact. This one is just a lot of fun to play with if delved into deep enough.

o5. KouSan/SanKou

These... are my two favorite characters and while they literally had one exchange of dialogue together, it was Sango shouting out ‘KOUGA!’ ‘s name and I’ve never looked back.

Elder gazed pon the newest recruit, studying the choice of attire. It wasn’t so much about appearance as it was about practicality. Though, they did of course need to be considered professional and appear as such. 

And it wasn’t as if it were so different she couldn’t be recognized as one of their own. Her mokomoko was to be kept with her at any rate, just as her father had donned his.

“ I think you may show us all up. ” Her words teasing, wishing Sango had her own protective chest plate that wrapped about her torso. ( Something to consider down the line... )

“ So long as you feel safe and are able to do your job effectively, I see no problem with this. How do you feel, Setsuna? ”

" You didn't need to bring anything you know, you're our guest. It was enough that you decided to come at all. I...wasn't sure honestly. I know this sort of thing probably isn't something you're too comfortable with right? " Setsuna was a very private girl, something Sango could respect and it wouldn't have offended her in the slightest had she declined the offer.

" I know... it's easier said than done, but you can relax around me. You're practically family, Setsuna. "

It had been a fairly productive day with the new recruits of taijiya. One moment she was demonstrating the various uses of demonic poisons in battle and the next- Sango finds herself looking upward into hanyou eyes of Setsuna, shades of brown dart about the space, realizing she'd been transported to her own home.

" W-What do you...mean? "

Elder taijiya pushes to lift herself up, only to feel incredibly dizzy and out of breath. How had she not noticed? Was this something she could have foreseen? Or was she... overworking herself- 'No, impossible. I've handled much worse.'

" I'm sorry to have worried you. I'll be fine, thank you Setsuna. There's no need to fret over me. "

Such profound thoughts from the young hanyou. But it wasn't hard to see what she spoke of. For whatever reason, they were not viewed as equals with their fellow male teammates. Ever since she was around Setsuna's age, Sango understood her duties and was very grateful that her father had allowed her to take on the role of being a taijiya... Her late mother likely would have worried sick. But there was a lot of honor that came with the title. A badge Sango wore proudly.

With a nod in understanding, Sango takes in Setsuna's words for a moment, she truly was wise for her age and it showed in her mannerisms and speech. Even the way she fought, she was never extremely clumsy or reckless, unlike some others she knew.

" While I commend you for your focus and drive... You already have come such a long way. Don't forget that. I guarantee everyone who has ever known you, has come to respect you and your skills. And why shouldn't they? You're a taijiya, you're Setsuna. "

Elder Taijiya thinks long and hard on the question and what lay beneath its surface. For she knows what it's like to carry such a burden, to have something so traumatic that it continuously eat away at oneself.

Sango finds her resolve and turns to meet gaze with the inquiring girl. " It's...nothing to be ashamed of Setsuna-san. To have such scars, simply means that you were able to overcome that which couldn't kill you. You're stronger now, even despite the hurt. "

That didn't mean they would ever truly go away though... Sango knew that much.
