hi! I'm an 18 year old roleplayer with about 5 or 6 years of experience! this pinned post covers my rules for roleplay and what I'm interested in! please please please ensure you read my rules before reaching out to me!

rules! 🍒

- I will only roleplay with people 18 and over! sorry but this is not negotiable.

- I'm pretty much exclusively writing oc x canon double ups! I will not be writing a canon character for your oc if you are not doing the same for me.

- most of my ocs are female so my side of the rp will generally be fxm, fxf or f x other. I'm fine with my partner having male ocs ofc, I just don't have any myself and I'm aware that's an issue for some people.

- I would categorise my writing as semi lit/lit. I don't really like to set an expected amount of how much I write because it varies depending on my partner, my humour, and the plot. however, I generally do at the very least 2 paragraphs.

- I do not tolerate partners who try to control my oc's actions in the roleplay, I find it incredibly annoying.

- please do not criticise my ocs unless I ask, even if it's constructive criticism. if I want advice on how to improve an oc I will ask.

- I am okay with nsfw but I don't enjoy rps where that's the entire plot. I also only write nsfw with adult characters!!!!

- as a general rule I'll willing to try and write any character for my partner, but if I do say no to a character, it's probably because I've tried to write them before and have not enjoyed it. that or it's a character I just refuse to protray (eg- mori, bsd)

You were friends with Kuroo before this whole situation. Looking back on it, you should’ve seen the signs. The signs that he was a bit too friendly and a bit too invested in what you were doing all the time.

He was always wondering where you were, he always wanted to be with you. Yet still, you never thought he would kidnap you.

You kick your legs out in protest, trying to yell even through the gag he had put on you. Kuroo simply watches, waiting until you calm down.

You don’t though, you continue to fight for what feels like hours, the fire was still in your eyes.

After a couple hours you weren’t fighting anymore, but you were still clearly angry at him. He can only assume that by the way you glare at him.

He takes a step towards you, pulling down the gag so it now rests around your neck. You can only think of one thing to say to him, something that you think will hurt him because of his obsession.

“I hate you, Kuroo Tetsuro, I hate you” You say, only hoping that you hurt him deeply. Which it does. It really does hurt him.

However he just tries to convince himself that it’s because your emotional from being kidnapped. Kuroo needs to keep it cool, he needs to show you how much he loves you.

Kuroo grabs your face into his hand despite your protests. “Get off of me! Get off, Kuroo!” You yell, trying to wiggle out of his grip. You can’t though and your protests are cut off from his kiss. Despite how he way holding you still with force, his kiss was gentle.

You try to get out of his grip, trying not to let him kiss you anymore. However he overpowers you easily, still forcing you into the sickeningly sweet kiss.

Kuroo pulls away from you, seeing that you were angry but he can also tell your scared. He gently caresses your cheek. “I know you hate me now but you’ll love me eventually” He says, he knows you can’t hate him forever.

You’ll eventually fall for him, he’ll make sure of that.

🍑 If you could make a connection between your favorite character and another work you care about (whether a crossover/fusion or a wonderfully “pretentious” literary reference) what would it be? How would it work?

So (these are nonsensical spoilers for u pin, don’t worry) Lion Ushiromiya was canonically captain of their high school badminton team, so. If Umineko takes place in 1986 then in the Haikyuu era 2020s Lion would be in their like, 60s or something. They’re the older, slightly grizzled coach of the girls’ badminton team at, oh, let’s say itachiyama. And who took up badminton in my niche sakusa/akaashi-in-Oxford fic? It’s sakusa. Lion passes the torch to him to be the new itachiyama badminton coach, or something. And thus I connect my two special interest blorbos…

(This is actually a Real Fic I have planned out in my head… one of Oikawa’s twin daughters (Kaori) goes away to school in Tokyo Skip and Loafer style and Sakusa is the Nao-chan figure. It’s a whole thing.)

Isi asked me this one too! I’m also gonna answer her 🍇 ask here.

My favorite character dynamic is something to the effect of “non-romance romance” or something I misleadingly (?) call “unusual romance”. This can look like a lot of different things! A lot of times it’ll be explicitly about aroace feelings (see: the sakusa/akaashi fic mentioned above) but not always. I just love when there are hard-to-categorize important relationships in things (sugimoto & asirpa, shima & mitsumi, I’d even call hinata & kageyama this) and I just like to bring that energy to almost any fic I write.

How about 🍇, but with an alternative version if you want: are there any themes or types of scenes/stories that you want to write/can’t stop writing a million different versions of?

Elaborating on the above:

A lot of times “unusual romances” take this specific shape of like… the idea of characters who have resigned themselves to this level of quiet disappointment with their romantic lives. They feel that they aren’t built for this idea of happily ever after romance, and that’s just who they are and what their life is meant to be, and that’s okay.

But maybe then they discover something about themselves, or find a connection with another person, and they actually do find a lot of meaning in it and it does fit with who they are as a person but it is also like… something they thought they might not ever have! But it’s also different than what they’d imagined, in a a way. A lot of times this isn’t even about aroace stuff, it’s just like… finding this sort of magic in your life that you’d given up on.

This is what almost every one of my fics is about at the core, honestly!! I write it over and over and over. Tapestry Hinata (and lowkey like, the whole tapestry polycule), my recent sakusa/kuroo, that oxford fic I can’t seem to shut up about in these answers, my ushioi, a planned ushisaku thing I’m going to write… idk this theme is just the gift that keeps on giving, to me.

u get two blorbos!!! first is kuroo, who is and always will be the biggest dork to me. he's also an introvert faking being extroverted, which is a major impact on how i write him & how he interacts w the reader. i also headcanon that he was a chem major and minored in business. because i live in denial. tomura we have talked about extensively so you know exactly what i'm about to say. he is Strikingly healthy wrt romance i do not believe in yandere tomura he is a myth to me,,,,,, he has healthy boundaries and genuine respect for his partner and perhaps is a bit clingy and overprotective but all things considered is So not a freak (affectionate) esp compared to the likes of hawks and deku

synopsis: in which Kuroo helps you paint your nails, and you do his, too.

a/n: jsnjfnkf y'all this is purely self indulgent. like I was in the middle of doing my nails and was like uno what, I bet this would be a lot better if Kuroo was here,, anyway, happy reading <33

The third time Kuroo hears you quietly huff in frustration, he looks up from his work to turn to look at you on his bed, "What's bothering you, babe?"

You whine a little as you turn to look up at the ceiling instead of your boyfriend in front of you, by his desk. You have your jaw clenched, and Kuroo thinks he can see a vein popping on your forehead. In spite of himself, and your struggles, he smirks a little, laughing at your cute, pouty, very frustrated self. You close your eyes momentarily, still looking up, willing yourself to calm down enough to speak,

"i can't get the nails on my dominant hand right."

Before quickly shutting himself up, Kuroo spats out a laugh like a hyena, mostly because that's the last thing he expected to get you riled up. If you weren't so serious right now, he'd stand to ruffle your hair and keep laughing in your face. But, he loves you, and he knows things like this can sometimes get to you, especially if you've had a rough week prior, so he decides to keep to himself and make fun of you later.

"Aww, baby, want me to help?" he suggests instead, standing up from his desk chair before you can even answer.

He shuffles closer to you to see what you're actually doing. You'd declared earlier you were gonna do your nails while you waited for him to finish his work. It was a friday, and fridays were designated date nights in your relationship; tonight it would be spent in the form of pizza, sweets, a Fullmetal Alchemist marathon and.., well, sex (but nevermind that right now).

Right now, Kuroo takes a hold of your hand, the one that has your nails perfectly manicured, with a pretty red color on them-- one he had proudly chosen for you when you'd asked. He smiles at your craftsmanship and kisses your knuckles before letting your hand gently fall to your side. Then, he picks up your other hand. And, while Kuroo is absolutely no expert, he quietly admits to himself that this hand is...not the best; he still kisses your knuckles, though, and then your palm, and then he starts picking at the red smudges around your cuticles.

"Do you think you could do it for me?" Kuroo could never stand to deny you as is, but the way you're looking at him right now, pleading and a little tired from the week, but just as beautiful as ever on his bed, wrapped in one of his sweatshirts, has him nodding like a fool in love. He doesn't even know the first thing about manicures or nail-painting, but for you, he'd go get a cosmetology licence.

You smile and pull him close to you so he's sitting on the bed. You hug him and kiss his cheek, sighing in thanks. Somehow, Kuroo becomes even more whipped for you now.

It's when you're handing him the small bottle of nail polish that he stops you and clears his throat, "Kitten, i'd love to help you, but you gotta teach me first, so i dont mess it up."

Your mouth makes a small 'o' at his words. You're quickly nodding and taking the tiny vial back. Giving him a quick, chaste kiss to his jaw, you take his hand in yours, bringing it to your lap. "I'll teach ya," you say, smiling up at him, "is it okay if i paint your nails?"

You don't really know why you're nervous to ask; you know Kuroo would never have a problem with it, much less if you'd offer, but it's still somewhat uncharted territory in your relationship.
