You and Sae Byeok are up to absolutely no good this Halloween
In which you both take Cheol trick or treating, and then sneak off for a treat of your own
Kang Sae Byeok x Female reader
Warnings : Just tooth rotting fluff :) literally. Slight cw for Sae Byeok being a lil shit suggestive themes/jokes and content
“I see you decided against the sexy cat costume”
Sae Byeok leans against your door frame, a smirk curving up her blood stained lips. She rakes her eyes across your body. Top to bottom. Shameless little-
“Sae!”, you whisper furiously. “There is a child in our midst”
“He didn’t hear that” she responds coolly, not even removing her gaze from you.
Cheol is looking at the pile of carved pumpkins near your gate. He seems thoroughly invested, observing each one through his masked eyes. His little bat man cape flutters behind him as he moves energetically around each one to get a look. He’s definitely not out of earshot, however.
You narrow your eyes at Sae Byeok.
“He probably did. He’s just too used to his sisters degenerate ways to care”
Immediately, you brace yourself for whatever blush inducing thing she is about to say in response.
Sae Byeok quirks up an eyebrow. God dammit
“Yeah? Don’t you usually love my degenerate ways y/n? “
You’re pretty sure your makeup will melt off with the heat that takes over your face at that. She chuckles and bends down to give your forehead a gentle kiss. You take a moment to take in her costume. She’s dressed as a Victorian era vampire, with a black suit thrown over a white blouse stained with blood (fake, you hope, but you really can’t be sure with Sae). Her short wavy hair is gathered up into a messy bun that accentuates her boyish charm, while leaving a few stray pieces to fall to her unfairly pretty face. Her whole outfit contrasts with your angelic white costume, and in the soft glow of the lanterns you have hung and the candy-colored street lights, she looks devilishly handsome.
And of course, two sharp incisors protrude when she smiles. But you’re not thinking about that. Totally not.
You smile back at her and she laces your hands together.
“Y’all are sappy. Can we go?”
Cheol stands on the porch with his basket, looking quite unimpressed with the two of you.
“Yes, we were just getting ready Cheol”, Sae Byeok ruffles his hair.
You lock your house and leave with the siblings. At this point in your relationship with Sae Byeok, it felt very much like you were raising Cheol together. The two of you had promised to take Cheol trick or treating around the neighborhood and then drop him off at a friend’s house for a sleepover.
Y’all walk down the roads, lit up with Halloween decorations and watch protectively as Cheol runs upto doors and demands candy in his usual cute manner. A few people try to jump out and scare him but he remains hilariously unfazed, sending you and Sae into fits of giggles every time an adult recoiled in embarrassment after the failed attempt and gave him candy. The boy’s very brave. You’re certain he gets it from his sister.
You pull out a polaroid and snap a bunch of candid shots of the three of yall. One of Sae Byeok stuffing her face with chocolate, another of you and Sae sharing a pocky stick (Cheol fake retches to the side) and several of all three of you together, huddled around all the pretty decorations or making devil horns on each other.
“This angel costume is misleading”. Sae decides to tease you while Cheol runs off to say hi a group of friends. “We both know you’re far from innocent”.
You stick your tongue out at her. “Better an angel than a sexy cat. Besides, I was joking about that”, you roll your eyes.
“A real shame”. She smirks and dusts off a stray bit of glitter from your face. “Never mind though. You still look stunning”.
You groan and hide your face in her collar.“Stop flustering me”
Sae laughs heartily at that. The three of you eventually end up at the sleepover location and send off Cheol with two bear hugs and sticky kisses on the cheek.
“Noona, keep y/n safe, okay?”, Cheol says, mildly threateningly. Sae feigns offence, making a big show of gasping and huffing at the thought that he’s more protective of you than her. You giggle and drag her away, thanking the hostess.
The two of you walked around on your own after that, occasionally stopping at fast food stalls to share sweets and popping in at open night clubs to dance if you heard a good song. It’s been hours since you left home, but you still felt just as energized.
Well, your feet did hurt a little. But it was worth it, because Sae looked almost childishly happy right now. She swung your joined hands slightly as you walked. You loved seeing her like this, her usually stern features softened into something more juvenile and carefree. She deserved to be happy, and you loved making her happy. Honestly, you could literally do this for the rest of your –
You are jolted back into reality as she makes a quick detour without warning, taking both of you down an alleyway.
“Um, where are we going?”, you inquire.
“I’m taking you somewhere” she says casually.
“That’s…a little cryptic don’t you think?”
“Shhh trust me”
You do trust her. You trust her with your life, actually. But you don’t trust these alleyways at night. They are shady as hell and filled with dangerous people.
You grip her hand tightly, and walk as close to her as possible. Sae Byeok notices, like she always does. She removes her hand from yours and curls it around your waist, drawing you closer to her side.
“Don’t worry angel, we’re almost there”
You soon end up at a secluded but homely looking spot. It’s a small market place, with candy and flower shops lined up in tidy rows. They are all closed for the night, but Halloween lanterns hang from every doorstep, casting muticolored light across the setting. It seems like it’s only the two of you here.
You gaze at Sae Byeok fondly. She looks nonchalant but you know her well enough to know it’s all an act.
“Saeee,” you coo, lacing your hands together. A light pink blush takes over her face.
You give her a soft kiss. “You’re a sentimental softie under all this aren’t you”.
She had brought you to the place where you two had first met. You had been grocery shopping when the tall, gorgeous girl had collided into you. She turned up at your place later, guiltily returning a ring that you hadn’t even noticed you had lost.
“Shh, no need to expose me”, she mutters and brings you to a ledge near a florist’s shop. She takes off her jacket in one smooth movement and lays it down on the ledge. She then promptly sweeps you off of your feet, a surprised laugh leaving your lips, and sets you down on the ledge. She places her hands on either side of the wall behind you and kisses you, the sweetness of a night’s worth of candy flooding your senses. You pull apart and run your hands up and down her sides gently.
“I was worried that some weirdo would try to attack us”
“Like I’d allow them within 5 feet next to you”, she scoffs. “I can make grown men wish they were never born”
“Mhhm, and that’s why you’re hot Sae”, you chuckle.
“Is that so?” she drawls, leaning closer. She presses a single finger under your throat to lift up your chin, so that you’re looking up at her. There’s a dark, almost predatory glint in her eyes. Before you know it, she is kissing you hungrily. You tug her hair free from its updo, desperately tangling your fingers in her locks.
She brings her lips down to the pulse point in your neck. You slap your hand over your mouth to suppress the sound when she bites down, leaving a string of hickeys. Your angel wings press harshly into your back as you arch against the wall. Sae Byeok only pulls away to harshly whisper,
“Want to take this back home?”
