I’ve been thinking about you all day at work. I can’t even get anything done cause I just keep thinking about that gorgeous little smile of yours.
When I get home you’re gonna cuddle with me on the couch and you aren’t going anywhere little missy. You better make it up to me with all the kisses I want. You’ll do that for me, won’t you, hun?
Well, I gotta go, Sweetheart. Business meetings… Though I’m not gonna pay attention I’m just gonna think about holding my baby.
See you later, baby girl.
Your Joseph ❤️
Eek, Joseph, you’re gonna make me blush talking like that! 🙊 It’s nice to know you’ve been thinking about me, too, though. Cuddles with you holding me close sound perfect right about now… and you know I can never say no to you, especially when it means more kisses 🥰 I’ll be more than happy to give you lots of love to make up for being apart all day. Maybe I’ll even put on something special just for you… hehe see you soon 😘

‘Shivering uncontrollably’ for Ellick, bonus points if Nick’s the one shivering! (Though honestly I am easy either way!)
He was in shock.
He knew he was in shock, could easily identify it with his logical brain, but he couldn’t do a damn thing to stop it.
Shock, pure shock.
The shivers wracked through his body, down his spine without ceasing.
Legs weren’t supposed to bend that way.
Faces weren’t supposed to be that color purple.
Eyes weren’t supposed to roll that direction.
Shirts weren’t supposed to stain that growing red.
Arms weren’t supposed to hang that limp.
He felt the next full body tremble all the way into his toes. The whole world around him blurred out of focus except for her. The only thing crystal clear in his vision was her body twisted in a funny position.
Muffled sirens and dulled shouts sounded in his ears. Bodies pushed past his shaking frozen self and dove over her, blocking her from his field of view.
His hands shook unrelenting, reaching out to her in vain. Even if his feet stood cemented to the asphalt.
The barked commands around him strung together in a garbled mess of pointing and orders and shapes moving.
His shoulders never stopped shaking. Violent shivers ripped through his torso despite the thick wool blanket being wrapped around him by steady hands.
A high pitch ring accompanied the calm voice in his left ear, any kind of soothing anecdote lost on him. Whispers of his name as those hands tried to turn him, pull him away. Away from her.
His roughened shout startled the unsuspecting soul beside him, he could tell. He didn’t care.
Another shiver took over his body, truly though they never ended. One started and it just never stopped.
Her lifeless form jumping off the cold asphalt in front of him. Two paddles leaping off her chest as another figure rushed back to hover over top of her. More shouting. More things flying.
The hands were on him again, this time with friends. Forcefully, they pulled. Nick couldn’t stop them.
Her body, still surrounded, her fate unsure, just drifting further and further out of view.
The shaking never stopped, the ringing only grew louder. So loud it almost drowned his gutting cries out, almost.
The heartbreaking sound of her name shrieked from his trembling lips would be etched in more than just his memory.

🌹🌹🌹 - from part ten of Resol’nare, a story that I have been working on ✨resurrecting✨ for quite some time now, featuring two clueless mandos:
Navina’s question hung in the air of the cockpit, the lingering vibrations of her words still audibly humming around them even though several beats had gone by without an answer from the Mandalorian.
Dank farrik, I shouldn’t have led with that.
Gunning straight for the Darksaber was a bold move and one that had clearly shocked him. Being encased in beskar made it difficult for her to interpret his body language but not impossible, and the abrupt swivel of his helmet to bring the darkened visor in line with her eyes told her everything that she needed to know. He has it. Or he knows where it is but it… he wasn’t expecting me to ask that. Though she didn’t know him well, she knew him well enough to assume that not many things caught him off guard. He had just demonstrated that with how quickly and instinctively he moved to get her to safety under fire, and she’d seen it in the way that he fought the reptavians on her last visit to Nevarro. But since this was a conversation and not something that he could shoot his way out of, a situation that required thought and not just action or muscle memory, it caused him to freeze up and for a few seconds Navina wondered if he wasn’t considering trying a blaster anyway.
That’s the Way, isn’t it?
Thanks for asking Angie!! 😀 excited to get this one back up and running again!!
