Ok listen, omega!max and alpha!reader lives rent free in my head honestly. Top tier. I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of time thinking about it. So here’s one of the things I’ve been thinking about:

Nights at home with omega!max? But specially, a night after a race weekend?

He flies home immediately, the race was not good for him and he honestly just wants the comfort of home. He takes a red eye back and shows up home at 11pm.

He looks so tired, but you’re so happy he’s back with you, because now you can look after him. The moment the door closes, he’s throwing himself into your arms, nuzzling into your neck to try and cover himself in your scent.

He disappears soon after to go shower, and when he returns, he smells of your body wash and shampoo.

And then he remakes the nest in the bedroom.

Max actually loves when you watch him make his nests. He hates when anyone else does, but with you he just feels an extra level of love and protection when he knows his alpha is watching him build the best.

He never lets you help though, because he sees this as his job. As much as he hates all the omega instincts, he’s long since given up the fight against them when it came to you, with you he lets himself be the stereotypical omega because you just make him feel so safe.

So he makes the nest and you can’t help because he’s a good omega who wants to provide a good nest for his alpha.

When it’s done, he’ll literally growl at you if you don’t get in the nest quick enough. He’s done all the hard work, now he wants cuddles. Immediately! Right now! Why are you standing outside the nest?? Get in!!!!

It’s only when he’s tucked into your chest again that he really begins to feel all the affects of the race weekend.

I think he really likes to talk it through then? He doesn’t actually want advice or even comfort. He kinda just uses you as a sounding board, and you’re more than happy to stay quiet and let him process everything aloud.

On those nights, he never wants sex. He just wants to be held and scented and made to feel like he’s yours, rather than the person he becomes when the cameras turn on.

But the next morning? Without fail, he always wakes up whining and desperate and begging for knot to make him feel that he’s truly home.
