2. is your f/o from a horror movie/game/series? if not, would you make an AU where they were (like a vampire AU or something similar)?

this is an interesting question because some people wouldn't really consider jojo as part of the horror genre, though each part has horror elements present, but i think part 1 definitely fits the label. that's one reason i love part 1 so much, because it's really just a simple vampire story (just a little more, you know... bizarre). with only 9 episodes, it tells such a juicy, dramatic story that i resonate with so deeply. i LOVE phantom blood, it is easily my favorite, and it deserves all the love

so yes, part 1 dio is definitely from a horror mini-series, if i had to be extremely specific. part 3 dio is... something Else but jojo is also something else entirely by part 3 (i still enjoy it but it won't hit the same as a victorian vampire story. nothing will top that)

4. what would be your f/o’s favorite horror/halloween themed film?

i'm sure dio would like the classic universal monster movies!

6. do you and your f/o attend any parties/festivals/other events? this can be either for halloween or just for celebrating the fall season!!

my s/i doesn't really play a role in that episode; it all falls apart in episode 3 tbh 😔 that's when she Finds Out For Real and... i'm not even complaining. being a vampire's wife is on my personal maslow's hierarchy

🤪: What is your trait that fanon would exaggerate?

they would make her pretty... melodramatic. and "weak" for continually associating with dio after all he's done (and i mean even as a kid).

this s/i is very solemn, but it doesn't mean she can't carry her own or be happy sometimes. often this happiness comes from being with dio, though, knowing that he's there for her.

and she doesn't leave him because they bonded when they were very young, when he went to live with the joestars. my s/i's family and the joestars are friends, so she visited the mansion often and was really the only one dio could get along well with. he had his moments, of course, but he was very tame toward her in comparison. their affection for each other only grew as they grew

💞: Aside from with your f/o, who else would you commonly be shipped with? Why?

maybe jojo himself, but i doubt it. i personally see him as a brother (though they are written as friends only) so i wouldn't like that much 🥴

💘: Why would people love your ship? Why would people dislike your ship? How might it start debates?

What is your favorite part of the life you’ve built with Dio?

this question is so sweet because! our goal from the beginning was to make something all our own, to get away from all the pain we've had to endure for so long inflicted by our families. dio thankfully had an out when he was young, but i never did. dio was the only person who was really on my side (besides jonathan, because the joestars and my family were close). he always promised me something better, and when we got married he was going to give me that... of course, that didn't happen the way i expected because of the vampire nonsense 💀

regardless of the change in plans (the nicest way i can put it), dio has always taken care of me. and like, actually listened... which sounds odd for dio, the most selfish dude there ever was, but i was always there for him and i kind of brought him back to earth a couple times. not enough to keep him human, because he still valued immortality (and immorality let's be real) -- something that was so important to him that he wanted to give that to me, too, so that we could live on together

and it's fine. i'm fine

wait how have i never thought about dio dancing with me before?! i think because i get so caught up in the thought of dancing with hans that it never crosses my mind, but dio would absolutely want to dance with me. while things were still relatively normal, i'm sure there were events all the time at the joestar mansion, and i would be invited as a friend of jojo and as dio's betrothed...

it would be something that i would be embarrassed to have anyone see, because i made it a point to be as closed off from my family and anyone associated with them as much as possible, but dio is irresistible. he whispers sweet things in my ear while he leads me... promises me that as soon as we have our last dance at our wedding, we wouldn't have to see any of them ever again... we will have a life all our own... and we can dance, alone, for the rest of our lives.

Oreo: What’s something your F/O shares with you often?

while he was in school, he would often tell me about his studies. he assumed i didn't care at first, but i asked so often that it became routine for us to exchange what we had learned that day or week! he studied law, which is rather complicated, but i liked hearing about it. my s/i studied english/literature, so i would tell him about what i was reading or drafting.

the way he just... protects me. from every little thing, like even a splash of water when a carriage rolls past us on the street. it makes me feel so loved and cared for.
