Name: Markle "Mark" Angkasa*

He works as a journalist reporting where robots are so that people can avoid them. Yet despite this he is quite an anxious lad who after every report goes home to panic. This may be the reason as to why he was drawn to Ski in the first place or perhaps vice verse as they first met on one of his missions.

Over time they grew quite a tight bond with him eventually developing a rather large crush on the lad and his energetic bravery. And while he is still a little frightened by Cobalt's brash attitude he tries his best to not let it show and ruin his chances. Ski is really the closest thing Mark has to an actual friend in the apocalypse, spending quite a lot of their down time together in general.

The incident that really spiked this relationship up from a crush to actual infatuation however was when he was out on the job and a robot had gotten a little close, well suffice to say luckily Ski was there to save him, and after he had snagged the robots arm and used it to make a prosthetic for Mark. He can use the arm as a last resort weapon, the only downside being that it needs to be oiled up every once in a while and he can feel everything, including the intense painful heat of shooting fireballs.

Besides from being a reporter however he also uses Ski's technology know-how to fix old cds back to semi-working order and resell them for a bit cheaper than their old price (around 50 bottle caps lol/ref)

This honestly could end up in glory or disaster.

Like it's either he's healed and is better about himself or he clings really fucking bad to you.

Obviously, you guys are friends at first. He's already clingy, wanting to hang out whenever you two can. You, who notice this behaviour, ask if he wants to talk about it (as in therapy).

He denies the offer for a bit until either you insist or his brothers shove him to it.

The first session is awkward for him since he's never really exposed his inner feelings often. And if I'm being honest, he's not even aware of his problems sometimes.

Slowly, but surely he opens up; where the session goes from answering a few questions to full-out rambles. But, this also means his anxiety and burden alter into a new form. He becomes dependent and starts to crave your presence.

Initially, he'll invite you to hang out back even before the therapy but now he's begging you to come and hold him; let him soak up your entire being.

It gets so bad he might even try to break into your house just so he can be in the same room as you (at night most likely).

You, who easily can see the cause of the behaviour, try to find another thing he can rely on. Plushies, hobbies, anything that will take off his mind.

He really tries to get better, but it's just so hard for him! Plushies don't speak to you, they don't hug you, and they don't breathe! Nothing can compare to the comfort you bring.

You brainstorm more ideas: pondering the best solution for Raph.

Meanwhile, he's pushed over the edge. He can't have you leaving him! He can't live on without you next to him!

So, out of strong emotions, he kidnaps you.

You're surprised, not expecting things to go this far. You try to reason with him, attempting to break the chain surrounding his mind. But it's no use, he just snuggles beside you while ranting about Princess Peach (god I hate how they changed her nose in the movie trailer)

Qrow is single handedly handling all of ozpins secret missions now so all of remnant is on his shoulders, that combined with all the death and general tragedy in his family there’s no way the second he gets a moment of peace with his nieces he doesn’t pass the fuck out

Yang is just doing her best as qrow is usually busy saving all of remnant for months at a time to be home

(Additional hc because they’re living of of assumably two teachers salaries, Ruby and Yang wear a lot of school merch they get for free, cause buying new clothes is expensive and a hassle Qrow doesn’t really have the time for, and Yang can’t reach the counters)

To elaborate on FFXVI Vincent's blindness a bit here...

Their left eye- regardless of the verse- was gouged out by their father when they were a teenager. He used it as a method of punishing Vincent for something and they've mostly grown accustomed to it not being there.

Defector!Vincent was the victim of Anabella and her power-hungry schemes. They disagreed with how Clive would be treated after the Night of Flames and got shot in their remaining eye with a sharp arrow. After escaping, they were able to realise that their eye was infected so decided to surgically remove it with a blunt scalpel whilst in a rented room in Twinside. Chaos healed the damage and eliminated the infection but couldn't regrow the eye; not that Vincent was going to let it try either. They then fled to Waloed and have been there ever since. They, too, have grown used to not being able to see and rely heavily on muscle memory to complete everyday tasks.
