I just got out of a horrid breakup and Ravens a rlly rlly big comfort character. The night he first laid eyes on her, it was an enchanting evening. It has lived in his mind and his heart every single day since. He dreams of that moment at night.

It's rare to find a soul that fits your own so perfectly. She was exactly that. His other half. The one who was meant to be his in life and in death, when the day shall come.

Even now as she stands across the room with a smile upon her lips and a sparkle in her eye, he is taken back to the night they met. It wasn't too different from tonight.

The other occupants of the room remain unaware to the man who burns with desire. His eyes are trained on her as she goes about her evening with friends. He doesn't want to wait. He wants to take her by the hand and make tonight another night for them to remember for the rest of their lives.

Goody makes his way across the room making barely a sound. No one pays him any mind as he passes through the crowd. He reaches Raven and comes to a stop, watching her with the smallest of smiles on his face. He could just... stare at her forever.

Raven laughs and turns. She sees Goody standing there and she smiles. His expression is soft and she feels her heart beating away in her chest.

Goody says nothing as he holds his hand out to her. Suddenly she feels very nervous. It's not very often she feels like this with him.

Raven takes his hand. His long fingers closer around hers and he guides her away from her company. None of them pay the couple any mind as Goody walks backward without bumping into a single person. Raven can follows where he takes her.

They come to a stop. She watches him curiously. Slowly, he pulls her closer. She follows his lead. Their chests press together as he wraps an arm around her waist, holding her hand in his other. His head rests against hers as they begin to sway.

Goody has never done this before with her. This is very new. Raven doesn't mind it.

He closes his eyes as he listens to the music playing I'm the background. Raven glances at the people around them, but everyone else is too busy with their own business to pay any mind to them.

"Goody?" He hums in response. "Are you alright?" She asks.

"I'm perfect," he replies.

She doesn't ask for any more than that. They sway and sway until the current piece ends. But even they he doesn't completely let go of her.

His lips press against her temple ever so lightly. It barely even happened.

"Do you know what I wish for more than anything?" He asks. She shakes her head. "A lifetime with you."

Raven only smiles.

"You can have that," she tells him.

His hand squeezes hers and they sway again. Continued to be ignored by the other patrons in the saloon. They lose themselves in the feeling of one another.

He loses himself in her later that evening.

Then he has two nights in particular to spend the rest of his days thinking about.
