WIP Challenge 😁❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍❤😁🤩🤩 Rules: tell us the titles of all the WIPs you are currently working on right now and a little about them. Then tag five other writers.

Thank you for the tag @unspeakable3! It is the law, you know, to respond to these kinds of things, and I am a law-abiding citizen so here we go.

The Pride of Burrough House -- A Regency-era Muggle AU romance about all of the Weasley siblings, but with a lot of emphasis on Percy, George, Ron, and Ginny. Mostly cheeky fun inspired heavily by Austen and Heyer, but with a more serious/angsty tone at some points.

These idiots are frankly delightful to write in this setting, and it's going to be a behemoth of a story as I'm doing a plotline for each of the 7, sort of alternating and winding them together over the course of (in the story) 2 years.

Canon ships with some detours along the way, as well as endgame Fred/Lee Jordan, living Marauders, and LGBTQA+ rep.

Irrational -- A Percy/Audrey quiet romance I've been writing since the dawn of time, i.e. 2009. (There were about 8 years in there where I wasn't writing fic.) It's what drew me back to fic in the first place because I was really sad that I hadn't completed it.

Irrational is about, among other things, accepting someone for the wonderfully imperfect person they are. Audrey doesn't judge Percy, she's not there to fix him or loosen him up, she's just there to love him for who he is because, like me, she really wouldn't change him for the world, even if he is kind of an asshat sometimes.

I also love this fic because I've really grown as a writer while working on it. Both because of the fic itself and also just because of the passage of time from when I started writing it to now. I think it's pretty evident as the story progresses, as well. Like there are things I would ideally have gone back and changed about how it started/ how I set everything up, but at the time I didn't want to scrap it and start over. I still love it, though; it's close to my heart, and I like the direction I've been able to take it after picking it up again.

I guess "WIP" doesn't necessarily have to be "multi-chapters currently being posted," so I figured I'd also throw out there that I'm working on another awkwardcringeyfunny Percy/Audrey smut one-shot, this time called Inaudible.

The fandom can be harry potter or dps i don't really mind. About myself:

I love nature and the night. I believe that in another life i was or an earth fairy, that lived in a forest in the middle of nowhere or a princess in a castle, because there is no explanation why i feel so attached to that kind of worlds and castles in general (like hogwarts). I'm kind of shy but now i got bangs and a tattoo and my confidence started going up yay!!! and i also like reading a lot! I love Taylor Swift and Conan Gray (did you know conan and i were reading the secret history at the same time? Yeah, soulmate behaviour) I love the friends to lovers' trope and i just want to fall in love. I really want to feel what is like to be someone's first choice and i want to give this person all the love i have in me, that is a lot. I can't sleep without my teddybear and i'm always cold.

your blog is wildflowers braided into your hair, whispering adorations through giggles into your partner’s ear, the comfort of your warm bed after a long day. it’s iridescent fairy wings, books with old love letters written on the first page, and the feeling of longing and love in your heart when you look at the moon.

if you were in harry potter..

i definitely think you'd be great friends with luna, no doubt about it. you both have similar interests, what with loving nature and the night times, so it's not unusual for you two to wander hogwarts grounds late at night, having snuck out of your dorms. luna would also delight in hearing your thoughts about your past life - especially the earth fairy theory, it's her favourite - and would even speculate about her own, saying she was likely a forest nymph or something similar. she'd tell you all about the nargles, and would definitely make you little pieces of jewellery that she'd hand to you with no explanation. you two would just love exploring the castle grounds together in general, trying to find any fun or pretty places previously undiscovered. on top of that, i think you'd be great friends with cedric! he strikes me as the type of person who'd love to hear your ideas about your past life, and would probably ask you questions about what you thought he was.

i get the feeling you'd be really good at divination, you just give me those sorts of vibes. trelawney would love you, one hundred percent, as you actually appreciate the subject and show an interest in it.

one person in particular would love you - fred weasley. look, i just think he'd think you're perfect. your slightly shy nature allows for him to tease you good-naturedly, but when your confidence elevates slightly? he falls harder. he loves your tattoo by the way, he'll ask to see it so many times, as if he's never looked at it before. he'll happily listen to you talk about whatever it is you like, entertaining you with in depth responses and little jokes and remarks. he thinks it's adorable you sleep with a teddy bear, his heart actually melts when you first tell him it in passing. and don't worry about always being cold. this boy has an abundance of extremely oversized sweaters, so it's near impossible to be cold when you're wrapped up in one of them. george will constantly tease him about his crush and make it extremely obvious to you no matter how much fred complains about it, so it appears you're stuck with the company of the twins for the foreseeable future.

and if you do end up with fred? this boy will accept all of the love you give him and give you back the exact same and then some. walking you to class, giving you his jumpers at any given moment, kisses to the back of your hand, slow dancing in the kitchen at 2am, the whole works. spending summer at the burrow is a MUST - molly absolutely adores you, it's quite sweet.

if you were in dead poets society..

you and chris would be great friends, i think! she'd hype you up so much, being around her is certainly a confidence boost. when you get your bangs and tattoo, her compliments increase ten fold. she decides she wants a tattoo, and is now obsessed with asking you so many questions about them before she fully commits to it. in a world where knox isn't a creepy stalker and him and chris can actually become friends after the whole love thing, you become friends with him as an extension of that.

one evening he invites you and chris along to a dead poets meeting. chris agrees, so you decide to go along too. it's a huge surprise for the poets when knox turns up with not just chris, but another new member. you sit in between cameron and pitts, exchanging conversation with them in between poems and other excitement. i think you'd be super good friends with pitts! he's also a huge night owl, so you bond over that shared admiration - you both love how it feels to be awake whilst the rest of the world is sleeping. i also think you and todd would get along great!! you're both a little shy, but when you're together, there's nothing stopping you both from talking each other's ear off, especially about what you're currently reading.

this doesn't mean you don't become friends with the other poets - they all love you and you become an accepted member of the dead poets society! someone else you get along great with? mr richard cameron. and it's a good thing you love the friends to lovers trope, because you have your own slow burn friends to lovers 250k+ word fanfic right here. we all know cam is a little (a lot) hard on himself, so when he realises he may like you a lot more than he should, he buries those feelings DEEP down. he's convinced himself that you'd never return his feelings.

it's a whole lot of stolen glances when the other isn't looking and shy, stumbled compliments. one particularly cold night he offers you his coat and neither of you can bring yourselves to make eye contact for ten minutes due to the flush on both of your cheeks. it takes a lot of pushing from the others for him to even think about telling you he likes you. when he does, it's a little awkward, but it's so cameron that you can't help but reciprocate his feelings.

he'll constantly let you borrow his white knit sweater. i also think he'd really enjoy taylor and conan's music! he'll sometimes find himself humming 'august' or 'people watching' to himself whilst he's doing his homework, and sit and smile because it made him think of you.

okay yeah, this definitely got a little long, but i hope you like it bestie!!! thanks again for being so sweet and lovely, ily sm !!! <33

very bad at describing myself and you already know me a good amount,, so ill just lump a bunch of facts together! i’m quite an introverted and quiet person and get flustered incredibly easily, but when i warm up to someone i get very rambly and overexcited.

im quite short, i have dark hair with white streaks in and have quite a few piercings!! id say my aesthetic is like a grunge-academia vibe! i love wearing messy eyeliner and a bunch of rings - i feel on edge without them.

i’m a huge daydreamer and very easily distracted by anything. i luv old horror movies, gothic literature, rock/indie music, and drink a lot more tea than i should. baking is like a love language to me and id say im a hopeless romantic (emphasis on hopeless)
